Very nice place to stay. Has laundry room, nice big pool and hot tub. Pool and hot tub has extended adult only hours 10:00 pm to 12:00 am. The bad things: small refrigerator, low pressure shower, 27 inch TV's. Needs 50" tv so you can see it better, because the room is nice size.

From the time we walked into the lobby until the time we checked out we experienced nothing but a clean, comfortable stay. The staff was personable yet professional. The pool area was awesome. Hot tub at a perfect temperature. A 10 out of 10 for sure.

This place was so so. The bed was not comfortable and the bathroom door in room 201 is the wrong size for the door frame causing the bathroom door to not lock and close properly Breakfast had very few options. Not that great. Staff was friendly and helpful. This building definitely needs some upgrading inside but keep in mind you get what you pay for. The pool and hot tub appeared to be clean but had a REALLY SEVERE chlorine smell in the pool area. Would we stay here again? Possibly. We would be interested in looking into other hotels before choosing this one. I’d rate this stay 3.0 out of 5.

The place is very clean, beds are comfortable, staff very friendly, convenient to everything, parking is easy. The only disappointment was the pool, hot tub area. My daughter and I like to relax in a hot tub on vacay. There was a very strong odor, vinegar like, that burned our eyes and it was difficult to breathe. I believe I read a response to a past comment, that it is due to the cedar lined area. Even so, it was not good.I am not sure if it needs better ventilation, but it didn't seem healthy :). We tried 2 different nights thinking maybe the 1st night, was a fluke...no luck.

The property felt dated. Within the room, the towels were not clean, several were stained, there was hair in the shower, as well as rust on the ceiling above the shower. Will not stay in this hotel again, due to the cleanliness and several other hotel and resort options available in the same vicinity.

Room was nice and staff was super. But the hotel may need a deep-cleaning. Or possibly the filters in air conditioners needed to be replaced. There was a musty “old building” smell in lobby and the room too and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Window in room was dirty and dusty. Ceiling metal above shower was rusty. Could see green on tiles of walls above hot tub area. Eew.

You could smell the pool as soon as you walk into the hotel. The entrance should be nice since it the first thing you see but the rug was soiled, it smelled like chlorine and it was old and dirty. The room smelled like dirty feet and only went away when we turned up the air conditioning. The ceiling of the room had several stains and the walls were dirty. The bath was the cleanest but had several cracked tiles. It wouldn’t take much to fix it up, fresh paint and a detailed cleaning. I wouldn’t stay here again!

There was only one chair in the room and when we asked for a second chair we were told they dont have one. There was a musty/damp smell throughout the hotel. We pulled the nightstand out to retrieve a phone cable and it was filthy dirty and full of crumbs, dust and dirt!

The controller didn't work and then the TV''s went out after about an hour znd a half. We stayed in what was supposed to be the best room in the place, the Honeymoon suite and it was NOTHING SPECIAL, AT ALL!!

The hotel is definitely older, but they’ve made some attempts to update. The mini fridge was not level and kept rocking back & forth when used. The bathroom sink did not drain well at all. The breakfast area is WAAAAY too congested. Too much seating too close to the food stations. Very difficult to navigate. On the plus side, the room was comfortable & clean… and the bed was excellent!

Pros The hotel was very clean from lobby to room. Pool and hot tub was well maintained. The jetted tub was very comfortable and relaxing. Our room was very quiet day and night. Needs improvement The mattress was too firm for my wife and myself. The fireplace did not provide heat and was simply for display. Our room was dated with the decor and paint seemingly like the 90’s. The bathroom ceiling had rusting and the shower water pressure was comically weak. Our thermostat as not digital and it made it hard to dial in a comfortable temperature. Our TV was also very small and it made watching the playoff NFL games more difficult. Overall it was a nice stay but we expected more when we booked a suite. We never actually used the pool and hot tub because they were packed with kids the whole weekend. So probably a great stay for families.

The location is OK...right next to a mini golf and go cart track Nice for families with children. This is an older motel Not sure how thet adverstise this as Hotel and suites Our room was at best tiny...certainly not a suite We did not like the room, as it face the roof of the bldg next door. We asked afor a room change, but were told that it was not possible

After being told on the phone twice that we could have an early check-in, the manager refused to let us check in early, would not keep our belongings so we could change for a family wedding, and was extremely rude!! Do NOT stay here. Baywatch is lovely across the street!

The checkin was welcoming and efficient. The hallways, breakfast area and sitting area with a fireplace were totally clean. The room was updated. Beds were comfortable. We just did an overnight stay on a girlfriend’s time away. Margie, the breakfast gal was amazing and helpful with tips on the area. Everything about this hotel was outstanding.

I arrived at the hotel at midnight, and the front desk girl was very mad I disdurbed her sleep, and she refused to let me check in, she found the excuse that the name in the system didn't match my ID. I said my friend helped me book the hotel, how about you refund me first and I book another one? She said no refundable, and I had to leave the hotel. I said YOU must refund me first, this is the credit card I paid with. She said you raised your voice and made me not comfortable, no refundable, and I was not allowed to come to this hotel again. She called police to kick me out and not refund me let me leave at midnight 1am without checking in. The police came, and checked my ID, and i told police she didnt let me check in also she didnt refund me the money.police let her refund me and i warned to sue her, she suddenly changed attitude and told the police everything was ok, and let us check in. She saw me as Asian face, she was racist, she even insulted me, have you have stayed in a hotel before? HORRIBLE experience. Racist hotel and staff. Foreigners don't go to this hotel. the front desk girl was so rude to a Asian customers.

The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. Excellent value. What made our stay extra special was the help received from Nick, the manager. He helped retrieve and send a crucial item that was left behind. Fantastic customer service!!!!! He went WAY above and beyond to repair my mistake Thank you!!!

The location is excellent with several restaurants within walking distance. Although on a very busy street, we heard no traffic sounds. The included breakfast was great, with some items available all day. The breakfast host was very helpful on where to go and what to see in the area.

I did not like that they would not let me do early check in bc my reservation was via Expedia. Also made a big deal about the fact that the reservation was for adults and did not mention an infant even though we needed no extra accommodations or a crib for the infant.

Excellent staff, clean property! Comfy beds and good water pressure. Continental breakfast with waffles, fruit, bagels, yogurt, bread assortment. We especially loved the traverse city cherry coffee 24/7 in the lobby. Will return just for that! Great indoor pool, across the street from the beach.

Busy area although not in heart of Traverse City. (Beware of the traffic on US 31 - we were traveling from the north and were unable to make a left turn into the parking lot due to traffic when we arrived). Otherwise, the location was okay. There is a walking/biking path behind the hotel, a few restaurants and a small grocery shop within an easy walk. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast area was well serviced.

This hotel is old and refurbished. The location is excellent for families. It is right across the street from the Lake and is on a property next to a Pirate putt putt experience. Short driving/walking distance to everything you need.

Everything was great for the price! We were pleasantly surprised with our room. The hotel is very clean and the staff were all very nice. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub which were also very clean and in great working order. About the only thing I can think of that they can improve on is the breakfast offered, but we knew that going in based on other reviews. They offered boiled eggs, toast, bagels, muffins, and make your own waffles. Overall a great stay, we left happy!

Overall hotel was clean with friendly staff but needs to be updated. Bathroom was small and I was concerned about dropping something in the toilet as it had no lid. Was surprised daily room cleaning was not the norm and you had to request it. I thought that went away after the pandemic. Breakfast was good but monotonous when you’re there for a few days and the only hot option was waffles. The attendant was very friendly and efficient.

We liked our room. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The whirlpool was clean and worked well. We liked the area. The breakfast was a bit sparse. Bananas and apples were available the first day, but the bananas were not ripe. The next day there were no bananas. If you are going to have waffles, you should at least have some fruit to go on it. The waffle batter also ran out.

Property was reasonably priced for the event we were attending. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was without eggs or meat, but the buffet lady kept everything full and clean. She was a credit to her job. Thanks. Buffet had plenty of waffels, coffee, OJ, Bagels, donuts, pastries, cereal and yogurt. I may have missed somthing, it was good food and no one went away hungry. Hotel was clean and room was excellent. Thank you for letting us stay there. My 4 stars on property was based on the fact there is some ongoing refurbishment in progress in the hallway. Excellent family hotel.
