I have stayed here on multiple occasions. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom has plenty of room. Shower has 2 heads, one being a rain head. They have Osmosis water available. Bring your own cups for beverage, as they only have glass glasses. There is a Keurig in the room. Coffee provided was ok. The pool is a nice area. Hot tub is hot like it should be. They have added a ping pong table to pool area, which was quite popular during my stay. There is also comfortable furniture in the pool area.On the outside of pool area complimentary coffee is provided by machine. You can get 6 different types. Note: parking is $15 daily. Check in and out is efficient. There is a grill and bar on property. Food is ok. I consider it expensive. If possible , get the bed and breakfast promo. It will save you some money. This hotel is centrally located to all things you want to do in downtown Minneapolis. Vikings,Twins,1st ave and plenty of other venues.

We had a great stay at the Normandy. Staff was fantastic. The Normandy kitchen had great breakfasts pool and sauna were clean. The hotel was quiet overall great experience would highly recommend to anybody going to a concert at the armoury for which we were there for.

Hands-down, the friendliest and most helpful staff team I’ve ever experienced! After staying at hundreds, if not a thousand or more hotels, this one is my favorite for so many reasons! Great staff (as I’ve mentioned), quaint & historic hotel, but with all the modern amenities. Love their pool/hot tub/sauna area! This is one of very few hotels that has a sauna, and it’s fantastic! We had a room on 4th floor overlooking pool—very cool ambience! Rooms clean and modern! Area is safe and quiet, despite being steps from the downtown Minneapolis scene! Their water purifier stations throughout the hotel produce some of the best drinking H20 we’ve had! Last, but not least, the omlet at their restaurant was superb! Try it; you won’t be sorry (I distain onions, but the hint of caramelized onions paired with the hollandaise was out of this world! The only criticism I can retrieve from the experience is the somewhat low water pressure in sink and shower (shower, btw, is dual head!). But, hey, the environment and all, so I’m hesitant to even mention it, as I’ll gladly sacrifice a tiny bit of additional water pressure to support water conservation.

It was a little difficult to get into the parking lot, but the hotel itself was great. The decor was inviting and the pool area was beautiful. My daughter loved the ping pong table! We also enjoyed the warm cookies and milk event.

Great place to stay with kids and safe walking distance to the Vikings game. Dinner menu from the restaurant that’s attached could be more family friendly, but we ordered from Buffalo Wild Wings.

I have always had good luck with this hotel in the past. However, this time, the shower had someone else's hair all over it. Also, the tv wasnt working properly. I went to the front desk about it. I was polite, the employee was polite, but nothing was ever done. I never heard from anyone again. I had to mess with it myself until i figured out how to fix it. At almost $250 a night, i dont feel i should have to fix things or shave the shower.

We love this hotel & stay only there when we are in Minneapolis for Twins games. Great staff, never had an even subpar interaction. The restaurant in the hotel is wonderful, and again, has great service. My son loves the atrium pool & hot tub, it's VERY clean with lots of cushioned seating surrounding. The rooms are excellent- again VERY clean. Bathrooms are like new & have modern rain style showers with glass doors. Osmosis filtered water is available in the halls alongside the ice machines. Plus, it's an easy 15 min walk to Target Field.

We stayed 5 days and couldn't get room cleaning service even 1 day even though we requested more than 3 times and felt itching while sleeping on the bed.. You guys need to improve customer managemen, restaurant system and train house keepers.. We trusted Best Western chain but it's regretful !!!

Hotel was awesome. Attached pub/restaurant was fabulous. Had to BEG to get our room cleaned. If you want your room cleaned, it’s by request only. Well, we requested it the first night. Nothing. Requested it that evening when it wasn’t done. Still nothing. Complained to the manager who got the guy to do it. Requested it for night 3. Nothing. Absolutely unacceptable.

This hotel is in a good location; close to many downtown attractions. Target Field is a 15 minute walk from here. The hotel is cute looking on the outside and the inside. It seemed fairly clean. On the not-so-great side: Very disorganized at the reception desk. My husband had an Amazon order sent to the hotel. It showed as being delivered on Amazon and a staff member confirmed she did see it arrive, but they couldn’t find it over the course of our 3 night stay, so we left without it. Housekeeping? Don’t expect any. We had none for our entire stay. Trips to the front desk to collect more soap and toilet paper were a treat. Towels were not replenished. I think with 4 people staying in a room that some sort of minimal housekeeping should occur over a 4 day stay. The free, warm cookies and milk each night at 10pm they use as a selling feature? Well, you need to get down there early and linger around waiting until they put 20 or so cookies out for everyone to scramble over. We got there at 10:05 and a staff member said we should have been there earlier. Lame. Either put enough out for everyone who comes down or don’t advertise it. On the third night my son went down at 9:45pm, determined to get one for each of us (4). One of the staff told him off and told him he could only take one. My advice is just buy a package of Pepperidge Farm for your room and skip the “free” cookies which plays out like a chapter out of The Hunger Games.

I loved this hotel! Not the biggest, not the fanciest, but old school style with a very friendly staff and a great restaurant and bar. Plus fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and milk from 10-11pm! An older property but very clean, hospitable, with refreshed rooms, comfortable bed, and indoor pool.

I rented two suites for 4 nights for myself and framily driving to meet up with me while I was attending a conference at the Minnesota Convention Center. The front desk staff was great and they provide a shuttle to and from the MCC as well as the ballparks which was great on the rainy days. My only complaint was that my suite was not serviced over the four days, even when I specifically requested it of the cleaning staff when they were on my floor on Day 4.

Good location but the front desk people were avg in friendliness and we had a fridge that made noises so loud we had to unplug it for our 2 night stay. They gave us free breakfast but I would have rather have had a fridge that worked. Nobody came to check on it or fix it either

Location was perfect for us. Property was clean and staff are friendly. Noise was a big issue. You can hear everything in the halls all night long. Beds not very comfy and pillows were horrible. Parking lot was convenient but$15 charge per night. Also put $100 deposit on my card even though room was paid. Will see how long it takes to get it back!

Our stay at this hotel was overall a positive experience. Its location is great if you are attending any event at US Bank Stadium. We went in December and the hotel was decorated for the holidays--very cute. If you like a rustic theme, this is the place for you. The pool and hot tub area was spacious and overall the hotel was very clean. The negative: the only two negatives were the water pressure is very high. It was like you were being showered with a pressure washer. Secondly, the lowest temperature our room got was a balmy 79 degrees. We did mention this to the front desk person the next morning as we stayed two nights and mentioned they will have maintenance take a look. We arrive back to the hotel that evening and the temperature was lowered by 1 degree. Overall--very positive experience, just sharing the hiccups we had.

This is an old property and looks it. Though being unique is ok! The feather pillows were nice and soft. Walls thick so don’t hear your neighbor. Did hear a lot of sirens on Saturday night (but not Sunday or Monday). Close to a hospital I think?

Called specifically to check whether wifi was fast and reliable before booking since I would be working from the hotel. I was told it definitely was. Proceeded to spend the next week-and-a-half bouncing between different support techs on their line, trying to get it to be either fast or reliable. No one would take ownership of the problem and actually confirm their "fix" was in fact a fix for my problem. (Spoiler: none of them were.) Wifi loses connectivity at exactly 51 minutes past each hour. Sounds like it's not a big deal… until you're on a series of Zoom calls that each stretch across the 51-minute mark of an hour, and you end up losing 5-10 minutes of each of them trying to get the thing to reconnect. Very bad for remote work unless you're bringing your own internet access. Aside from that, it was a fairly typical hotel experience, I'd say. Pro tip: ask for a room that does not overlook the pool.

It took over an hour to check in. It was as if they had not anticipated a sold out crowd at US Bank. Check in was ridiculously slow and when someone complained about it the smart mouth guy working said he would be more than happy to cancel their reservation. Insanely slow check in and a rude attitude is a horrible combination.

I booked this hotel last minute due to the Delta airline fiasco… luggage was lost and the manager went above and beyond to help me! I am so thankful for the staff at this hotel. They made me feel like family and protected me in my distress! I can’t thank them enough for all they did!! If I’m ever in Minneapolis again THIS is the hotel i will stay in!!

The hotel was dated but quite nice. I liked the hotel restaurant/bar with patio seating. Check-in was a nightmare for many. I arrived an hour before check-in and although other hotels will let people check in early, this place will not whatsoever even though the staff was just socializing and doing nothing but waiting for check-in time. There was a huge concert that night close by and the lobby filled up quickly. We were told to form a line and it was a huge line that ran the length of their main hallway. People were waiting for an hour just to check in meanwhile many of them had arrived prior and a lot of time could have been saved by allowing early check in. There were only 2 staff members checking guests in and one of them was extremely slow. People were very upset about the painful check-in process and the delay it was causing the many concert-goers.

The man who checked us in on 8/30 was so welcoming and kind. He told us of all amenities and when he found out we were going to the baseball stadium, he told us of the shuttle. He also asked us how we were enjoying our stay every single time he saw us. 10/10 customer service!

The hotel was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was nice. The restaurant was reasonably priced for breakfast and the food was delicious and staff was very friendly. The only thing was that they didn’t clean the room or change towels at all on a 3 night stay, which wasn’t a big deal. You could ask for it and we didn’t. The check in was chaotic, because many people were checking in at the same time, and there was only one person working at the front desk. But he did the best he could and remained very friendly.

The hotel staff was friendly but the restaurant was terrible service. Waited over fifteen minutes to only be told we no longer could order anything but fries! The table that arrived after us got food before we even got waited on. They weren’t limited to only fries! The fries came and were terrible soggy and clearly not cooked long enough. And 12.00 for just fries! The hotel was clean but the walls are paper thin. If your a light sleeper you may not sleep great here.

While a fine stay, we had quite a lot of noise from the hallway and the room above. Sat in the restaurant for over 20 minutes waiting for menus or service and got nothing. Gave up and got DoorDash. Front desk woman was so nice but we were sent to the elevators for our first floor room. Had to come back inside after checking out because our parking pass expired, even though we left hours before checkout. No major issues and we are easy going, but this was just average to me.

Nice place, really liked the old-time inn theme; great location, beds were pretty decent. Really appreciated the Keurig and pods in the room. Staff were helpful and friendly. the restaurant is convenient and the food is decent, but options are limited and very expensive. the restaurant is extremely loud also, as the high ceilings cause echo. it would be nice if the property description included the location of the parking lot, the rear entrance and how to get in to the parking lot. the front entrance of the building is confusing because it is on a street with very little parking and it looks like it is the entrance to just the restaurant. the parking lot is beside the building, facing the cross street, and the rear entrance is inside the lot. sorry, i don't have directional or street details.

Huge disappointment that the bar would not adjust its hours to accommodate our after-concert desire for a nightcap and to visit with others. The hotel was full of concert-goers, who shared our frustration, and it missed a great revenue opportunity.
