Stayed here while moving our daughter into her dorm. Good place to stay for a night or two. Everything worked. Front desk staff was courteous. Very close to the Metro. Teahouse restaurant in the same parking lot. The hot breakfast was a no-go for me, passed it altogether on day 2. You need your room key to enter the building. Seems like there are some security concerns, but we had no issues.

The room and overall hotel had basic necessities. It was very clean and the staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel won't blow you away with amenities, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the free breakfast offering. There was a rotating selection of options each day, eggs, sausage, cheese omelettes, biscuits and gravy, etc. There was cereal, juice, yogurt, pancakes and different toast options. The hotel seems to advertise it as a free "light breakfast" item, but it's really quite good in our opinion as far as continental breakfasts go. The laundry room has a couple older machines that take quarters, but the front desk was unable to break our singles. We found a workaround by putting them into a vending machine on the second floor and hitting the coin return button. They sell detergent and other sundries at the front desk. Overall, we're quite happy with the experience considering the price we paid and the fact that it's a 2 star hotel.

May not look like much, but it's affordable, convenient, and the parking is free in an area where that is a rarity. Tons of good eateries within walking distance, as is the Light Rail across the river. Definitely my go-to place in the Twin Cities.

Good location and value for price. Comfy bed and pillows, clean room, adequate, basic breakfast; quoted queen bed in Business Room was actually a smaller double. Small workout room smelled of toxic cleaner; three cardio machines worked but tv did not. Free parking. Great for one or two nights.

The pictures of this property on this site make it seem a lot nicer than it actually is. It was very clean, so that was nice. Old tv that was blurry, very small bathrooms with broken tiles and a creaky shower. Door were locked so you had to buzz in to get inside....which made me wonder if the area was that unsafe.

It was a place to stay. They keep machines in the hallways for beverages that steal your money and give nothing in return…while I understand they are not responsible for refunds, they still won’t put a sign on non-working machines.

The hotel was okay. It served it's purpose I guess. Even though our room had supposedly been updated it didn't appear renovated. The hotel was outdated. Rooms were mostly clean. Food not great and limited selections for breakfast. Vending machines only take cash. Staff friendly. Location good. Light rail station right there. Ample free parking.

The carpets were very smelly. The room cleaning was not done daily. The cleaners would ask if i required anything but bot carry out the daily cleaning or sorting of the room The fire Alarm would have alarmed on at least two occasions necessitating an evacuation. Musty smelling room that was filthy. Your bare feet would stick to the carpet. They toilet would barely flush they you would have to jiggle the handle to stop it from running. I had to unplug the TV to find an outlet that worked. The staff told me the window was supposed to open but was bolted shut. Worst place I have ever stayed. I suggest bringing a tent and sleeping on the street. At least the air will be fresh.

The carpet was gross… not other words. Long overdue for an update. Bathroom old and no vent so mold on ceiling. The foyer was old and furniture was well used. It could have been clean but because nasty carpet and dark lighting it gave off a yucky feel. Staff was very nice.

Needs updating for sure. Older smelly carpet. Elevators even smell ALL the time. Older bathroom, not great water pressure or lighting. Bathroom light buzzes like crazy. Housekeeper did not clean or make the beds after our first night, we were there for two. She just took used towels and left new towels(less than what she took). No vacuum, no making the bed, no cleaning the shower or the bathroom, nothing. Only good thing is the location.

This hotel could use a renovation, and it looks like on some floors that they are starting to do that. The hotel is blah. The bed is super small. No way was that a queen. In our room, the bathroom was old and gross. The toilet would not stop running and the TV didn't work. At first when we called, the front desk told us to stand closer to the TV, but it didn't work. They said they couldn't come down because only one person was at the front desk. After calling again, we were moved to a new room. The TV worked, but reception was bad with lines on the TV. The bathroom was better, but the fan stays on all the time which is loud and distracting. The Breakfast was okay. Not much but adequate. The Breakfast room is super small, and there are lots of people, so it was super cramped. Not enough room for everyone to sit. The hotel is super close the the stadium. Probably a 3 minute walk. I have to think that is how they stay in business. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Quick one night stay while helping our daughter move to Minneapolis. Conveniently located hotel close to her apartment with free parking. We were on the sixth floor and our room must have been under some sort of fan or air conditioning. It was so loud by the bathroom that I couldn't hear my husband talking from the beds. Located right next to the U of M stadium.

This was the honestly the worst stay at a Wyndham property my family has ever experienced. Bad about the room - wet squishy floors, thick moisture with little to no AC relief, clogged sink, inoperable deadbolt, toilet would not flush adequately. Bad about the service - no towels and not replenished the next day, door left open by staff when we were away leaving our personal property available to the world to steal, complained to front desk staff and reaction was nonchalant and nothing offered for compensation or even an apology. Additionally the fire alarm went off and continued for multiple hours there was a domestic abuse fight in the parking lot and the property felt very unsafe. This is so unfortunate as my daughter starts her college career at UOM this fall and my family was planning on making this our go to stay location for visits.

Was in a great area for the price right next to the tram, very quiet hotel. Breakfast wasn’t great but it was free so it wasn’t terrible. I got double charged and the lady in desk was very rude about it but apart from her the staff were polite and helpful.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Curtis went out of his way to helpnus figure out transporation and exolaining where everything was and how to get there. He also gave excellent suggestions for food. Very much recommend this hotel

very near the Metro green line station and in the heart of dinky town adjacent to Uof Minn east campus. very busy with state fair visitors and new students preparing of the start of the school year. Avoid the Caspian Bistro across the street.

Check it went well. Beautiful lobby but room was nothing special. Bathroom was very tiny. Shower had no pressure and tub didn’t drain the water. Breakfast options were very minimal at the hotel.

Basic hotel but the rooms are clean and some of the staff are very friendly saying hello as you pass by. Others almost go out of their way to avoid you. It is very convenient for the University though. Parking is free. Breakfast could do with improving a lot. Very limited choices and what was there was not very appetising.

Stay was average and location was fine for a concert at US Stadium. Breakfast is very basic and had really no gluten free options aside from yogurt and old fruit. It was expected but still disappointing. Probably would shell out the extra $ for a proper warm breakfast in our next stay so it feels worth the money.
