I called after my flight to get the shuttle which never showed up, sat there waiting for half hour, a different hotel shuttle saw me sitting there after his 5 th trip and offered me a drop off at the hotel. If I knew the receptionist never relay the message that I was awaiting the shuttle I would have ubered and not wasted my time waiting ,

The rooms are modern, spacious, and very well done up. The sleeping is super quiet, which is nice, and if you pull apart the curtains, you see a spectacular view of the airport. On the other hand, the staff is just not up to snuff! The person manning the snack desk was, to be kind, unnecessarily brusque. It’s also a very unwelcome surprise that having paid a decent price for the room the overnight parking came to another $36 including tax. A wiser choice would be to take the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, then shuttle back in the morning to get your rental car.

The basic reason to stay at this property is access to the airport. The TSA area is shut down so you need to take a shuttle to the airport or walk. We made a reservation on the shuttle, arrived well in advance and found there was no room for us. It is just a basic van. Over half of the people in line did not get on. It was frustrating so we ended up walking. It was 1.5 miles as tracked in steps to get from the hotel through to the actual airport and then back to our gate.

This is our 2nd stay. Our first stay we were able to go through TSA directly from the hotel but that has changed and now you need to take the shuttle to the airport. Sure did miss the short walk from the hotel to the airport for our flight.

Don’t expect to get a seat on the airport shuttle when you reserve a spot. They do not care if you have put your name down. If others show up before you and fill the bus, you’re out of luck and the driver was extremely rude about it. And there is no direct overpass from the hotel to the terminal. Go get a cheaper hotel elsewhere

Staff was incredibly rude. Room smelled like body odor. Went out to meet the shuttle to the airport early in the morning and it never showed so I walked to the airport in a snow storm. Terrible experience.

Everything was wonderful! Extremely helpful staff. Quiet. Pleasant room. Lovely bath products. Amazingly easy indoor access to the airport; in my case, just 4 minutes by foot and tram from my arrival gate to the hotel. Just as easy back to the airport on departure, thanks to direct access in the mornings to a TSA checkpoint. I’ll be back whenever I have an overnight stop at MSP.

So apparently they give you a lower rate to not be on the runway side. I was on the third floor, which was a little difficult to find the hallway that was locked to access your rooms, which I liked that it was at least secure, but my room faced the main roadway to the airport and being on the third floor, it was extremely noisy. I suspect if the floor had been higher, it would not have been noisy. I previously stayed on the runway side and actually it was quieter. The front desk person was not Minnesota nice nor was the shuttle driver but was told apparently that “waxes and wanes”, but front desk was accommodating at least when I asked her to break a 20 although she failed to do it in the way I had requested and never gave me any explanation other than handing me 10 ones. I also find it confusing to access the shuttle from the pick up. You have to call. You cannot just simply arrive on the shuttle but overall recommend this hotel simply because it’s clean. It’s a very nice hotel. The restaurant and staff are excellent there and it’s obviously quite convenient to the airport.

This is the airport hotel. it's an EXCELLENT airport hotel. the rooms are spacious, isolated, well-priced, and well appointed. The staff "get it", are professional, and you feel like you're in a "grownup" hotel. But you're in the airport - getting somewhere else, ANYWHERE else isn't easy - uber or taxi maybe. Food does delivery very easily, and there's a decent restaurant. Good night's sleep? Good shower, no fear of missing flight? Go here. Done.

Once I figured out how to get from the rental-car drop off to the hotel, it was great. This airport is a little confusing to get around for first-timers even if they typically don't have issues with following signs. Staff was nice, food at the restaurant was good, place was clean and the shuttle driver got me to the airport fast enough in the morning. The room was great, bed comfortable - 2 complaints. 1. what is with the blue light in the bathroom for a night light - even with the door closed (see note 2) it still shined bright enough to be annoying - had to get creative with a towel and some tape I had with me so it would get darker. 2. what is with the trend for barn doors on the bathroom? I was travelling by myself this time so it didn't matter, but who really wants a barndoor - which blocks neither sounds nor smells in an already small hotel room.

This is a very nice, modern hotel with friendly staff. We loved that we could walk from the airport terminal via a tram ride and skywalk into the hotel property. We had a runway room and could not believe how quiet it was. Fun to watch planes come and go. Would come back!

Our check-in process felt like we were interrupting the man’s evening; no customer service skills whatsoever. We did arrange for a shuttle for four to the airport for 4:00a and arrived promptly at 4:00a and there was no shuttle (I wanted to be five minutes early, but it sadly didn’t happen); we were told “they keep a prompt schedule” and when I showed my phone with the time as 4:00 and said, “it’s currently 4:00 and that was our reservation time” the woman at the desk simply repeated, “they keep a prompt schedule , you can catch the next one” with zero empathy attached. Personally I find this unacceptable; if you want to depart at 4:01, I totally get it, but to not be there AT 4:00a when you have a reservation for this kind of hotel is wrong… UNLESS they would have shared that the DEPARTURE time was 4:00a but that is not what was shared when I made the reservation. On a positive note, the shuttle drivers were wondeful!

This is the second time staying at IHG, the first time having been in April 2024. The service is always fabulous. Housekeeping staff was responsive and sweet both nights of stay, bringing coffee and lotion when asked. The sweet gal at the coffee bar who helped me with ordering Byredo lotion and making a great hot white mocha was just as pleasant as when I saw her back in April when I was in town for the Chris Stapleton concert. The bartender at Bradstreet on 6/20/24 made me a fabulous drink. The waitress Diria and Alexander at LaVoya on June 22nd for breakfast were both very nice in spit of being so busy. The front desk staff is always great! Thank you for making my trip with my sister for the Morgan Wallen concert so memorable!

The property is very nice and amazingly clean but the staff leaves a little to be desired. No one was rude but just very disinterested. It felt like we were interrupting a cluster of employee's conversation at the desk in the morning. The barista looked like she would walk across hot coals if it meant she wouldn't need to make me a latte. I expected more hospitality from one of the highest priced hotels in the area. The exception was the staff in the restaurant for breakfast. They were great and the food was fantastic.

Hotel is new and well appointed. Staff is fairly rude and self absorbed. The bartender was pleasant, but after mixing my drinks left them sitting on the back bar while she busily chatted up some people at the bar. Front desk staff and drivers are snippy and not at all “Minnesota nice.” Nothing wrong with the property physically… just that the staffing is largely comprised of people who are terribly put out that you are there bothering them. For the price you’d expect a bit better service, but what do I know.

I wish MSP airport does a better job of telling how to walk to this hotel . It’s hugely inconvenient if you are not arriving on like C16. The hotel is nice. You cannot walk back from the hotel to airport using the same walkway coming from the airport ( no TSA ) .

Convenient hotel, nice to stay before our flight the next day. Great shuttle service to and from airport to hotel - even though it could be walkable. Shuttle service and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee stand staff indifferent, not helpful. Dining options in hotel - two restaurants with separate menus but you can eat in either space - that was unclear. Service was spotty but fine. Food left much to be desired - stick with the basic options like a burger or something fried. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8am though - wasn’t pleased about that. Typically when you are departing that day our experience has been housekeeping does not bother you until after checkout since they know you’re leaving.

I had a delicious dinner at the more upscale of the two restaurants at the Intercontinental. Delicious meal and good service. This was a great place to stay before my next morning flight from MSP. Shuttle to the airport was on-time and less than a ten minute ride.
