The person at the counter was very pleasant to work with. The parking lot had trash around, and I had to pay for parking. They haven't had paid parking previous times being here-and it isn't downtown. Get rid of the paid parking-it isn't even a covered lot.

Renee at the front desk is amazing! Helpful, accommodating and informative! She helped us out when there was a small situation with not having the room we reserved because they were so booked and she was able to reserve our room on the same floor as our family who was traveling with us. The gentleman at the front desk was also very kind and friendly but we didn’t catch his name. The staff in the restaurant, for breakfast, were also very friendly and accommodating, as well. Very sweet employees were on staff during our long weekend. The rooms were clean and stocked for our stay, the bed comfortable and had a full size couch/pull out bed. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 10 mile radius (which is a small hiccup because the airport and Mall of America are a few miles outside of that). We used the shuttle 2 different days to take us to the music festival we were there for and both gentlemen were very kind, friendly and safe drivers. The kids reported the pool was on the small side but not many are there specifically for the pool, so it’s a nice bonus to even have one and a hot tub. Despite the hotel being full, it was still quiet and our sleep was never disrupted. We stay at Double Tree Hiltons a lot when we travel and we were pleased with this one, too. Pool was down. Only one elevator was functioning. Only one shuttle running. One the other hand, the front desk staff and shuttle drivers were very professional and super accommodating. Knowing the motel is not being kept current with much needed repairs will probably not stay again......

The restaurant and bar were closed, wich were one of the main reasons we stayed at the hotel.It took 20 minutes for there to be hot water in the shower. Overall not happy with our stay.

We had 3 people, Only 1 towel, 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel. Bath towel was mold stained. Couch bed sheets had stains all over them. The next day no one came in to clean or change towels even though we asked. Very poor for a Double Tree.😥😢

The hotel was overall old and dated. We stayed in the suite room which was large and had plenty of room but there were definitely signs of aging. The popcorn ceiling appeared to have a leak and discoloration. The shower was also dated with mold in the corners. The bedding smelled musty as if someone didn’t wash them or let them stay in the washer too long. Old AC and heating units. The pool and hot tub were also very old and they didn’t appear to clean or service them daily. The water was cloudy and appeared to be dirty.

The room vents for heating and air were dusty or moldy in both the main room and bathroom. There were areas in the bathroom near toilet plumbing and shower that were brown or has substances we didn’t do and should have been cleaned better.

There was bedbugs in the room I went to the front desk for the manager and the manager never showed up. The room wasn’t clean for my stay and they claim the housekeeping was done upon request .

Bathroom was dirty. Long hairs on the floor and in the tub and on the ceiling of the shower. Red stains in the carpet by the beds. No free continental breakfast. You have to pay for parking.

Room was AWESOME for the price: HUGE! for $230 = 710 sqft, 2bathrooms, 2 beds, (one was sofa), 2 tvs, fridge, dining table, - it was just great. Loved it. Would def stay here again. 5 min ride from dwtn St Paul- $20 Uber Ride at 10:30pm

Room was worn and stained in places. Dinner wasn’t even an option as only the bar part was open and everyone there ignored me. Their cookies are now pre-packaged. Water pressure in the shower was next to nothing.

Shuttle driver taking us into St. Paul was very rude, however driver for pick up was great. Very thin walls, and space beneath door of adjoining room (not our party) was large so the light from their room shone into our room. Front desk staff very pleasant.

Place was nice and clean. However just a few problems I was not overly impressed with. Especially seeing as I did not get what I paid for by any means. The bar/restaurant was out of basically everything(literally). Any common drink I was told we are out of that over and over. They were even out of Coke? Then as for the room. Everything appeared to be fine. Until you tried using things. Such as the plugins. You go to plug your charger box in and it falls out. The USB options were not working. Turned the TV on none of the channels would come in. Went down to front desk. She stated she would let maintenance know in the morning well we were checking out in the morning. So we had no TV. Next up noticed it was warm. Looked at the AC seen it was turned down to 64 so it should be freezing right?! nope.. It froze up from being set so low and had water all over the floor. so my clothes were soaked because my bag was next to it. Also told front desk same answer was for it to be looked at tomorrow after i'm already gone. Then finally go to shower. Tub fills up with water went to try to pull the drain doesn't stay open. I propped it open with a small bottle. That didn't matter water still backed up. I could have taken a bath or shower because no water would drain. When I checked out still water sitting in there. I just feel like for almost $200 for 1 night I could have had at least some of what I was supposed to be getting. Don't think I'll be staying again.

We like this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable, we get a good nights sleep. But this time the drain in the shower was totally plugged such that after one shower the shower stall was overflowing onto the bathroom floor. Needless to say, the second shower was very short - less than a minute. We reported it at checkout and there didn’t seem to be much of a concern. The other thing here is that breakfast is in the restaurant off the menu. Would be nice if there was at least a complimentary grab and go.

Had to pay $13 for parking and then sign up for a free trial of the Hilton membership in order to use the wifi. Felt like they are looking to nickel and dime you wherever they can. Room was just ok. Could use some upkeep and the air conditioner was very loud.

Don’t waste your money to this hotel. All employees are rude and does not care about the hotel problem. Except for Sue. We asked to get our room clean for 5 days stay no one did. Access room didn’t work and have to ask front desk when we need to access our room, when I asked if this problem will get fix the front desk guy basically walk away and said nothing. Morning front desk is rock solid rude not sure why she work at customer service with that attitude. Was given a free breakfast and yet service was terrible, server was no where to be found and have to ask for coffee and water, food was not good. If you want to have a good stay or vacation book somewhere else

The location was not what i expected. The building looked run down. Service was not friendly. I was really surprised that we had to PAY FOR PARKING! this was the first one heard of this Hilton. No breakfast included either. Definitely NOT worth the stay and definitely will not be back to that location

computers were down at check in, so it took almost an hour to get checked in, when we finally got to our room, we noticed the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned (garbage under the night stand, hair in the bathroom). staff were nice, but it was evident they were short staffed at time of check in.

The bar area was having ALOT of challenges but the young woman (working alone) on Saturday night was running like a wild woman and keeping things going. She deserves a BIG raise! Sheri at the front desk is a customer service ROCK STAR!! Our stay started VERY rocky after being left stranded by VRBO and she did everything she could to make our stay easy. THANK YOU Sheri! You are a treasure!!

I stayed at this property because it was one of the only spots available for a busy music festival weekend. The neighborhood isn't great, so keep that in mind for future bookings. The facility and room were clean and check-in/check-out was easy. However, two things that were disappointing. One, this hotel charges people (even if they are staying at the hotel) $10 per vehicle per night to park there. This was never advertised or said until we arrived. I had to double check with the clerk because I've NEVER seen this before in the cities. I thought it was pretty cheap of them. Two, they have a shuttle that will take you within 10 miles. I called two weeks in advance to ask about it and was told they only have a shuttle if "someone is working it that day". I asked if it was guaranteed and was told no. When I called again two days before arrival to ask, I was told the shuttle would be running, but was first come first serve. Okay, no problem. We arrived early to grab the shuttle and were told that too many people had called in to reserve the shuttle and the wait would be 2 hours. Wait...I was told it was first come first serve? I just found the whole experience pretty unprofessional and maybe they just weren't ready for a busy weekend, but on top of it all, not one employee was kind or polite. Really disappointing.

Quick check in and out process. Everyone was very nice. The beds was comfortable. Not in walking distance to restaurants or plazas. Price for night could have been less since the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Parking should be free since there is no city area. Overall, my stay was great and everyone was nice. I did utilize the pool and sauna which was a little old but it worked for relaxation. I would stay again, especially for the warm soft cookies.

My husband and I booked a suite for our vacation. The layout and style of the room was modern and sleek but it felt old and dingy. The bedsheets had some crumbs and stains and the walls need to be repainted. There was even an iron burn print on the wall like someone tried to iron the wall. For such an expensive room, you would think that it would be better kept. Details matter! The breakfast cost money and we were under the impression that it was complimentary. It was $15 per person plus tip for a standard hotel buffet breakfast. Nothing special about it. Overall, we wouldn’t stay there again.

The morning waitress was amazing. She was super friendly and remembered us every morning. I think it was Kim. The bartender was not great. Extremely slow service. She had difficulty prioritizing. The food was good, she was not.

The staff were friendly, rooms were clean, complimentary water and cookies and a bar/restaurant. They also have a little store you can buy snacks at. They have an all you can eat breakfast buffet, it’s not free but was amazingly delicious and you can take a to go box so it’s worth the value.

This is clearly an older Doubletree and was not particularly well-maintained. During prime hours in the evening, there was only a skeleton crew, including a skeleton crew in the bar restaurant and kitchen. It’s not particularly bad but it’s not particularly good. This is not a high-end hotel.

Very clean hotel with a friendly, professional staff. Scott at the front desk did a great job. The hotel has a connected restaurant with excellent food and a nice cocktail hour from 5-6pm. Lisa, our bartender, was phenomenal. Great experience at this hotel and would highly recommend.

The staff was pleasant when we arrived however unknowing to us when we booked a room there is a $13 a day parking cost, this is not the Ritz but a travelers and workers hotel. Room was clean etc.. . we were late and went to the restaurant and the food was mediocre at best but costly and the drinks were more that the food by alot. FYI the restaurant / bar close at 9pm. When we returned from work our room was not cleaned. For what was paid, service was less than expected.
