Definitely needs a facelift. Older hotel rooms smell like smoke. Sink was leaking all over floor. They had to move us to another room. Pool and pool bar closes at 8 pm. Very strict on that. Stay was ok. Probably will not be back.

Best part was the 2 pool areas, comfortable beds, a balcony, and the guy who unloaded my luggage. Getting to the registration desk and then to the room took 2 elevators, 2 escalators, and hundreds of endless hallways. The balcony is over some rooftop fans and you can't hear yourself talk, good view though. A $20 resort fee didn't get me anything that I know of. Cost $11 to borrow a mini fridge (I did not do that). Both pools are great, but I wouldn't pay alot to stay here.

Great rooms and stay. The pools on side of building were quieter than the front "party pool" area. The drawback was that there were no towels readily available. There was a pile of used towels not picked up for 3 days.

It is a long way and a maze from the parking lot to checkin. None of the plugs, wall or lamps or bathroom worked. Only a gang box on the dresser.

Step in tub shower. No ice machines working floors 3 to 9. Filthy machines. Taken out mini-fridge. Gone. Pool over 92 degrees. Poor service. No valet.no daily room service.

Pics make it look great, reality not so much. Very run down, smelled old and musky, toilet constantly running all through the night, very low water pressure to the point where you could barely rinse the shampoo out your hair, shower/tub leaked terribly all over the floor when taking a shower and of course there were only 2 towels so it was either dry yourself off or the floor, very dim lighting and bathroom light flickered constantly. This is not a complaint because we did know this before hand but for anyone needing a fridge or microwave there isn't any in the room, but you can rent a fridge for extra charge, most all ice machines on the many floors were not working and the one on the 9th floor that was working, was very dirty, definitely not something you would expect at a casino hotel, we are simple people that don't require much and don't treat ourselves to fancy places often, but for the price, we've stayed in cheap motels that were way more accommodating than this. The balcony was dirty, stains on the walls, and such an eyesore looking down at the filthy pool and hot tub and the drained old pool next to it, but our highlight of the entire stay was seeing the baby dolphins play throughout the day from our balcony.

Old, dusty, needs renovated. Avoid this place. Checked into a junior suite with ocean view. Nice view, but that’s where it ended. Sheets were dirty and had hairs on them. Called for more sheets, those were even more stained. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Literally EVERYTHING was dusty. Open a drawer, dust cloud. Headboard, dust covered. Bathroom light was out. TV remote did not work. Had to call downstairs four times to get a call back. Ice bucket, no bag and standing water at bottom. Jacuzzi, clean but dusty, jets worked well. All the furniture is old and damaged. Every corner was chipped and the hinges not aligned. Had to pick up the cabinet doors before you closed it or it would not shut. Sink was corroded and dirty. Air works, but room stayed humid. Staff was very polite. Food was okay, but nothing special. Enjoyed the pool, could be cleaner and better patrolled. Parking was awful. Worst of all the casinos.

I have had all pleasant and memorable experiences at the Golden Nugget until this last visit. The room wasn’t the cleanest. The garbage can in the living area and bathroom did not have bags in them. There was no hand soap in the bathroom . The ice bucket did not have a bag either. The air conditioner was not cooling. I had a knock on the door when it cleary said do not disturb. They were delivering towels to the wrong room. I’m very disappointed.

We ordered from Bubba Gump's and the employees were rude and couldn't figure out the order correctly. Overall the stay was good but the halls to the hotel were musty and mildew smelling. The sheets on one of the beds was stained as well.

The room wasnt clean. The bathroom wasnt clran. We found pubic hair in the shower.the shower door wasnt clean. There wasnt any trash bags in the trash can.. the floors were dirty. We made the best of it but will not stay there again. Pubic hair was found on the pillows.

It's kind of run down. The whole place was musty and smelled of smoke. Our floor was especially musty smelling. The ice machine on my floor didn't work. There is no mini fridge in the room. The balcony paint was peeling and not well kept. I paid $100 a night so I guess it was OK for the money but, the other Golden Nuggets I've been too were much nicer. I would definitely try one of the other hotels next time.

The place vs price was okay for a 1 night stay but I would not stay again. The room we had needed to be updated. The tub was cracked at the bottom, the plugs that were available on the night stands to use, did not work. We when were going to bed, we kept hearing loud music but could not tell where it was coming from.

The room was just as advertised on the site. Very spacious, very comfortable. Incredible viewpoint outside. The hot tub was an enjoyable experience. My only two complaints are that there was no please do not disturb sign for us to hang (very very minor complaint), and it was difficult to figure out how to connect to the wifi on certain devices.

Difficult to turn shower on or off. Water trickled constantly. Dim lighting throughout. Luggage rack was missing a strap so it was useless. No full length mirror. Drapes not attached to all hooks. Much nicer places on the coast for same price.

I booked a room for 3nights.. On the 2nd day my room key was not working. I went to front desk to let them know. They provided me new keys but they also checked me out of my room by mistake.. I had to pay another almost $600 to get checked back in while the other charges were still pending from my original check in..Now I got 2 charges pending on my account totaling over $1200 . I got all that money tied up. Now suppose I did not have the money to cover two hotel check ins.. Would I have had to leave because of something that was not my fault. I was displeased on that issue.

The security is rude! The entire hotel smells like smoke-even the non smoking part. The hotel rooms are old and outdated. None of the plug ins in the room worked and I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. The WiFi would not connect. Security was extremely rude to me and my finance and got in her face over our service animal. The only good thing about this place is the pool. If I could rate it a 0/10 I would. We will definitely not be back to this location.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Golden Nugget. Friendly staff and lots of different things to do. A big shout out to the VIP check in staff. The regular check in line was about 6 deep. They would come out and take the next person in line and check them in via the VIP office.

Terribly disappointed with this location!! Not the Golden Nugget establishment we are familiar with. Even the staff seemed to be stressed and not happy with their employment! When do hotels NOT clean your room on a daily basis??? If you go Biloxi-choose another hotel.

Took 3 calls to the front desk and 5 hours to get a small fridge in our room. Never received updates. No maid service and no communication to us that we would not have service - which wouldn't be a big deal if they at least brought towels (don't most people shower everyday - especially at a pool / beach casino/hotel) Had to call and wait, hot sandy, and dirty for towels. Rooms need updating. fixtures were old, loose, etc.

The man at the circle entrance was terribly rude to my mom and myself. His behavior was some of the worst I've ever experienced at a hotel. I would've never expected that from a person in that position. Literally, your job is dealing with the public. He was rude and extremely unprofessional.

The golden nugget never disappoints. I love the room with the jacuzzi and view. Everything was nice and clean. The pool was great and provided pool towels. It's also a swim up bar, away from the kids playing in the pool thankfully. We dined at Mortons last minute and the lamb was delicious. I'm not big on casinos because of the smoking but it seems to be big with multiple games, especially blackjack. The other casinos, dining, and the beach are in walking distance. I would highly recommend coming for the weekend.

Although this property sits a little back from the other hotels, it's very close, the casino is nice and spacious and the pool was beautiful. The staff was friendly and courteous and quick to respond to any needs. And the price was spectacular!

Loved our recent stay from the swim up bar to all the entertainment from casinos to great food! We had a great time. Feedback for the amenities would be to invest in the sports package so all of your guests have the ability to watch their teams play. It’s football season!!! Oh and to display signage that informs you what’s permitted and what’s not permitted as it relates to walking to the pool in your pool attire! We were stopped as if we were inappropriate when we were not. Literally had to walk back to the room to get a cover up. Either move the location of the pool, or display signage so it’s not a surprise. You have to walk through the casino to get to the pool. I travel a lot all over the world as this was my first experience being turned around because I had on a swim suit!

We only stayed here for one night but for it being an older hotel we were absolutely comfortable and impressed with the cleanliness and dining options. Morton’s steakhouse is top notch!! Will return in the future.

Great room! Clean. A little noise from the neighbors but not terrible. Only real opportunity for the hotel is those small, scratchy bath towels. Was there a sale on towels at the dollar store? Everything else was great. Lillie’s in the casino serves excellent Asian cuisine.

Wifi was bad. Mold and hair in room and bathroom. Water all over room floor. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Starbucks in resort stopped serving 45 minutes prior to closing so they could clean. Restaurants in resort were extremely high priced & food was mediocre. Coke was almost $5 each. I'll always stay at a normal hotel in the future.
