Front desk staff was frankly quite rude when I checked in. They eventually were helpful when for unclear reasons there were 2 reservations under my name. Asked for a fresh set of towels (I didn't ask for the room to be cleaned that morning, but it was not cleaned all day) late one night and was put on hold only to be told it was gonna be a bit. Apparently there were other requests ahead of me. It was 1030pm. I received the requested towels before midnight.

I used the express checkout and was surprised to find an unexplained charge of $13.99 on the credit card I left for incidentals. Because I did not check out at the front desk, I received absolutely no explanation for this charge. I suspect it is a fee for Wi-Fi usage. However, I am a loyalty member (which should grant free access) and there was absolutely no pricing information or warning on the internet login page. It feels like a hidden trap to take guests' money without them noticing. I have contacted the hotel multiple times requesting an itemized invoice to clarify this charge, but I have been completely ignored. Due to this total lack of response, I was forced to initiate a chargeback directly with my credit card company. As a side note: we are in 2026. Even the most basic budget motels offer free, transparent Wi-Fi. For a major hotel chain to charge hidden fees and then completely ignore customer inquiries is unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here.

Fine stay - great location, nice room. One issue - the alarm clock on the end table had not been reset, so it went off at 5:40am. That was annoying but probably not fair of me to blame the hotel staff on that.
