The hotel shares its parking garage with a mall. If you self park, you enter the mall and find an unimpressive sligthly hidden entrance to the hotel which was a put off. The check in was quick and our room was OK but there was a small amount of black mold in the grout where the shower wall meets the tub. The faucets for the shower leaked and should be replaced. The bathroom was otherwise spacious and clean as was the room with a very comfortable bed. The wifi was sloooooow, inexcusable today. The breakfast we took was excellent and paid for with our room which was a bargain. I thought overnight parking at $50 was a bit on the high side. So a mixed review. The neighborhood appeared safe and is close to Rittenhouse Square.

We were so happy with this hotel! The location was wonderful, the staff was lovely, the room was clean and the decor was fantastic. We did not eat the buffet, but we went to the bar a couple of times and the bar staff was so friendly and gracious. They do not call Philadelphia the city of brotherly love for nothing. We were in town for the Metallica concert and brought our 18-year-old son and although it was a bit cramped for all three of us in one room, it actually worked just fine and the accommodations were exactly what we needed.

No options for food or drinks either in the lobby or room service after 11pm. Arrived late and everything around it was closed and they had no options. Disappointing for a $350/night hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at the Philly Westin. It is conveniently located downtown, the room was spacious, and the valet parking was easy. The breakfast was delicious (we recommend selecting that Expedia "add-on" option). But the most significant aspect was the friendly, helpful staff. This welcoming quality really stood out!!

Only staying one night, but one elevator to get in to hotel off of street, and another to get up to the room would get a bit tiresome with more time here. Typical Westin room; less than typical Westin lobby/restaurant/property experience.

Our group of three booked a two beds room at the hotel, but the hotel gave us a room with a king bed. At check-in, the front desk staff did not inform us of the error, so we had to go back downstairs with our luggage to find out why. The front desk staff told us that there were no twin rooms available (we had already paid in full when we made the reservation and don't understand why a room wasn't reserved). They then offered us a room with a sofa that could be unfolded into a bed. Since it was already midnight and we were very tired, we accepted the offer. However, when we arrived at the room and unfolded the sofa, the space became very cramped. Additionally, we had to put the bed sheets on the sofa bed ourselves. Furthermore, the refrigerator contained takeout boxes that hadn't been cleaned out, and a foul smell came out when we opened it. How could such a thing happen at a large global hotel chain? I don't understand!

Great Service. Disappointed in the bathroom floor. That things needed streamed and scrubbed badly. Almost called the Front Desk about it but didn't have the energy to deal with it. Room was nice. Bed was great. Breakfast 2/5 but the French toast was amazing.

When we arrived to our room, it was disgusting. Pubic hair in the shower and tub, black stuff all over the shower wall. Counter tops weren’t wiped down. Towels smelled like nasty mildew. Breakfast buffet is over priced, $34 for one person.

Had a great stay. Very close to Public transit. Nice atmosphere. The shower didn’t work - very little water came out of the overhead. We were only there for one night and showered on the morning of checkout so we didn’t bother asking to switch rooms.

Rooms are newly renovated with a very modern sleek finish. The beds are super comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous, a tad bit small but great. Love that the hotel is walking distance to plenty of shopping and restaurants. Parking is a bit tough given the location, however there is a parking garage right next door to the hotel which costs about $54 for 24 hr--in/out pass. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was mediocre. It wasn’t a bad stay but also wasn’t the greatest. The room was clean and updated so that’s a plus! Cons: toilet kept running which was more so annoying. And the hallway light wouldn’t turn off, we had to unplug it. Also, check out was at 12pm which is fine, however we returned to our room about 10 mins before noon to grab our bags and our hotel keys were already deactivated. My husband had to go to the lobby and get new keys just to get our bags out of the room so we could check out. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay but I’d probably not return

After a long night a travel, we arrived early and we wanted to check our bags in to hotel so we could go explore. Sabrina at the desk was so nice and said we could actually check in to our room! We couldn’t believe it, and it was so kind. Other than her kind gesture, the entire staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay again.

Room was clean and hotel is in a great location. Staff we polite, but multiple calls were required to get basics, like enough towels. We had indicated that there would be 4 occupants and yet the room wasn’t prepared. We had to call for bedding for the sofabed and were expected to make it up ourselves. The water pressure in the shower was a joke and the shower head was broken. This felt more like a 3-star hotel

The staff in the restaurant and bar were excellent. Due to a miscommunication, I did not receive my breakfast vouchers until the second day. The person checking us in nor the actual booking states that we had to verbally state that the stay included breakfast.

I stayed at the Westin from Friday to Saturday, and overall, the experience was disappointing. When I arrived, there wasn’t much staff available, and when I inquired about valet parking, they informed me that they couldn’t charge my car while it was in valet, so I had to park myself. The layout of the hotel was confusing—you need to take one elevator to reach the lobby and then another set of elevators to access the rooms, which was frustrating. The front desk staff were snappy and rude, often not understanding basic questions. While the room itself was nice, one of the provided water bottles had already been used, and there was no closet or ironing board, which I found odd. I requested extra towels for the next morning, but they took a long time to arrive. Additionally, when I asked for a late checkout, my request was rudely declined. Overall, while the hotel itself was nice, the service and experience didn’t live up to the cost.

After a horrible travel day and the airline causing us to miss our connection, the late night front check in gentleman made check in easy and he was as accommodating as he could be. He brought us dinner after midnight. Great location. Great service.

Our stay started off with a negative feeling when valet informed us that not one person knew how to drive a stick shift. We were more than willing to pay for the service, as we did not want to drag heavy luggage through the parking garage, then through the mall area, and lastly through the hotel lobby. Once we arrived at the front desk, we wait patiently for our turn until a teenager cut us in the line and the front desk lady helped him without acknowledging our presence. After waiting AGAIN, this time not so patiently, I told her that was rude of her and the patron and she could have handled that differently. This all happened within our first 30 minutes at the hotel. It put a damper on our stay and we will not be returning.

Dining options were plenty and the hotel is located in a walkable area with a mall and other retail stores. Check in was fast and the room was clean. I had accidentally booked a double and they were able to get me a king sized bed right away. Great service.

my family had a relaxing stay at the westin. it's centrally located, easy walking to several sites and near rittenhouse square with great restaurant options and shopping. the hotel was warm and comfortable. our room was a good size for me, my husband and son. the staff was responsive to our requests.

Great weekend getaway. The only few things i have to suggest are: 1. Vending machines, we got back to the room at 11pm and we wanted a soda and a snack. Had to order uber eats. 2. Or if no vending machines then maybe add some snack choices to the 24 hr room service menu. I didnt want a turkey sandwich, i wanted something sweet like chocolate. 3. Also the coffee/tea bar, maybe offer it later. I would have loved a cup of coffee upon returning after a long day. Local coffee shops were closed, the little keurig in the room just didnt cut it. Breakfast at Lea was delicious!!! Dinner was okay, the steak wasnt amazing, it was just okay. Servers at lea were very nice!! The beds were awesome, very comfortable. Valet parking was very nice!!

The stay was excellent other than mixed messaging around breakfast. The reservation stated the possibility to get breakfast for 2 for 10$ each but once we arrived that was not an option, anyways not a huge deal. The staff did sound condescending in answering our questions about breakfast as if it’s an absurd thing to ask lol.
