Delta Hotels by Marriott Helena Colonial

Loved that there was food and drink onsite so i didn't have to leave to find dinner.

Everything was as to be expected but I think all hotels that have pools should have to put that they are closed when booking. We chose the hotel so the kids could go swimming and it was closed. Also the toilet wouldn't flush and the tub wouldn\t drain properly in the room (105). Other than that it was a hotel.

Rooms were nice the bar/restaurant was good. However in our room there were dirty dishes in the closet and the remote was missing. They switched us rooms right away but gave an excuse that they had a big group over the weekend causing them to be short staffed. To me yes I get it to a point but you just made it harder on yourself as moving is caused two rooms cleaned again instead of one. The attention to detail and the front desk attitude was lacking but other than that nice place to stay especially if you have pets. They had a court yard with poop bags in the center of the hotel with sliding doors to the area for those with pets.

Pool and hot tub were nice to have - and we didn’t even have to share! Wish the hotel were closer to downtown but it was fine - clean, appointed, etc. They accept pets which was important because we were in a road trip with our dogs. Good value and we were able to log into our own Netflix etc. which was nice.

I stayed at The Delta in Helena for three nights. The staff I engaged with at the front counter were very friendly and quick to help. The room was nice, looked in good condition. Ample parking surrounded the hotel, and the free continental breakfast did the trick, as I only needed coffee and a snack to start the day. My only complaint is that the bathroom in my room did not seem really clean. Not sure if it’s an issue with the water, or perhaps the toilet was just older, but it had marks/rings that were unattractive. I appreciated the hotel’s proximity to my friends’ home and its amenities, so I would consider staying there again. Just would hope for a cleaner looking toilet.

Indoor pool and hot tub area was immaculate with plenty of pool towels. The only areas for improvement would be that the bathroom was very outdated and the breakfast (for 2 adults and one kiddo) was very expensive.

My 1st complaint would be why advertise that your hotel has a restaurant when it’s closed and not staffed? Lucky there’s an amazing restaurant close by. Fast check in and the room overall was nice but the shower wasn’t the cleanest and the bathroom exhaust fan was broken. Also be advised that the highway is close by so some traffic can be head but wasn’t too distracting well sleeping.

Very disappointing that for $260 per night, housekeeping wasn't automatically included. We were not informed at check in that we would need to request housekeeping, and there were no notes or signs in the room stating that we would need to request housekeeping.

My room had not been cleaned. Bed unmade, towels on the bathroom floor.

The room seemed unfinished in being cleaned. No sacks in the garbages. Two sets of towels for three people. The carpet needed vacuumed Had a flood when using the shower. The service at the restaurant was so slow people were leaving! Our meal time was an hour. Won’t stay there again! Not worth the money!

Way too expensive for the quality Shower head dripping all night TVs kept turning on by themselves. Had to unplug them Tub dirty w/ residue from previous occupant Sheets noisy & too puffed up for comfort

The building is beautiful and amazing. Our room was extremely spacious and clean. The staff was amazing. I would recommend staying here

Bathroom was not cleaned. Shower had used soap bar in it from previous guest and bathtub has black ring around the top of tub. Mini fridge was broken and leaking water. A large orange stain on carpet by the sofa in the room. When front desk staff was told about issue they appeared to be annoyed by concern.

We just stayed quickly because of a dinner event we attended at the hotel, so did not use the pool or gym or anything. But the cleanliness of the hotel as we walked down the hall, our room - with 3 different sinks and the gorgeous glass fireplace - made it feel like a luxurious hotel. The bed was super comfy and the room was a great size.

we paid $315 for one night for this? We used the text pre check in and it tried to charge our card and for more than we signed up for, with out our permission, there were kids running the halls until after 10pm, the pool was a disaster with kids in the hot tub screaming, water everywhere even outside of the pool doors down the halls, someone threw a real fish on the pool, I tried to take a bath in our little tiny tub, only to sit down in it to feel some kind of a sanded clear coat on the bottom, so I had to get out, air was in the lines and water kept shooting out of the bathtub faucet while I was trying to fill it. The website advertises this wonderful in house restaurant, that after we drove for 5 hours, were told when we got there that "oh its closed on the weekends" , the bed was broken ( and yes we called the front desk ) it made some kind of a loud thunk when ever we tried to sit on it, there no fans in the bathroom so when you go #2 your just stuck with the stink, the room was about 60 degrees when we got in there, the floors weren't vacuumed in places, the coffee pot was filthy, I tried to make tea with clear water and brown just came out. The walls are so thin we could hear everything and everyone, the floors creaked, the toilet made a loud sound when we sat on it like it was about to break from the wall, there were no extra blankets for the beds in the room, and lastly, the next door people order door dash at 2:30 am and woke us up knocking and calling them.

Nice facility. Comfortable beds and pillows.

The pillows were terrible and carpeting was not great.

The property is updated and very nice inside. My sleep the first night was very poor due to several factors, including kids running (stomping?) in the corridors/rooms above until fairly late; the TV turning itself back on 10 minutes after being turned off (it did this repeatedly); and to extremely thick, poofy pillows. Fortunately, the front desk brought some much flatter pillows for my second night and I slept much better. I also found the cord for the TV and unplugged it, so it would not further interrupt my sleep. Apparently this was a hotel-wide issue that had just resurfaced. All that said...my rooom was staggeringly expensive ($300+ per night) and that DID NOT INCLUDE breakfast. I would not stay there again at that price; the only reason I did this time was due to booking late (for reasons out of my control) and finding few other hotel rooms available (apparently due to a soccer tournament).

Rooms were nice the bar/restaurant was good. However in our room there were dirty dishes in the closet and the remote was missing. Had to change rooms after 10 PM due to loud, rowdy and rude group of teens in room across from us. Call to front desk made no difference. Front desk agreed to move us to another room but offered no apology for the inconvenience.

Jacob at the front desk was very rude when there was a key card issue. He seemed to refuse to be of any service and smiled and laughed at my expense.

Room and staff were great

Arrived, got room key and opened door to a messy unmade room. Went back to desk and got a new room with now problem. The desk attendant was amazing!!
