Radisson Hotel Bismarck

Bar and restaurant were not open when I was there, but this is a nice hotel near to Main St restaurants and bars. Bed was very comfortable.

The parking was terrible. I have a bad leg and had to park in a parking garage way across the dtreet on the 2nd floor

Room was very small. No refrigerator. Parking garage access was good.

The property was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The pool was great and the dome over it let in plenty of sunlight, so the water was warm enough. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Breakfast was really good, but not included in the price of the room. None of the vending machines above the first floor were stocked.

Property is older, but well maintained. Airport shuttle driver was on time and very pleasant. No fridge or microwave in the room, which startled me, it never occurred to me to have to request. Parking is in a ramp, but next door to the hotel.

Convenient location, good service and daily happy hour in lounge. The shuttle to/from the airport is a huge plus for me.

The hotel is outdated but has a lovely lounge with gaming and a restaurant on site. The downtown location makes it convenient for walking. If you have a full-size SUV, they offer off-site parking.

Parking for the hotel was to tight for my vehicle

Great location. free shuttle to the airport or most places near the hotel. there is a little office on the ground floor for you to do work peacefully or print stuff. There is a bar that is open late as well.

I normally stay at 2.5 star hotels, but decided the cost was only a bit more for this 3 star. I wish I had booked the 2.5. This place is pretty awful. To start, the lady checking me in interrupted the process to help 2 other people. Apparently she gave a guy a key card for someone else’s room and he went into their room. She told us the restaurant was open from 5 to 10. I went to the restaurant to find it was closed. We walked around and there was a lounge. He said he would have to seat us in the restaurant since we had kids. So he literally turned the lights on in the restaurant and we sat down. It was weird. The room itself was musty, water damage in bathroom, dust bunnies along the walls and furniture. You could hear people get ice as if they were in your room. We turned on the fan to try to get some sleep. Hotel uses a public parkade for their parking lots and it’s super sketchy. There were homeless people in there, and I was worried about my vehicle. The door from the parkade into the hotel wasn’t even locked. This whole place gave me the creeps. The only decent thing was the pool was warm and a decent size, and the hot tub was older but large. I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel was just so so. Front desk staff were very friendly. Parking was a pain the butt. Rooms were very small. Our room had obviously not been vacuumed well. String, lint on the carpet & stuff under the bed. Mattresses in our room were very old, saggy. Bathroom door was very squeaky. When I arrived home, noticed that my card had been charged $50 extra than what was on my receipt for both rooms we rented. Would not stay here again..

The person at the front didn’t even say hello, he just asked for my id,asked for a cc, handed me my keys, and that was it. The carpet and tile in the lobby is disgustingly dirty. Room was just ok. Carpets need a good cleaning all over. The tv cabinet in our room needs to be replaced, it had a lot of wear and water damage.

Always love the big city hotel feel of staying at the Radisson. Some dislikes: we had an executive room. The carpet needs to be cleaned, old bar of soap was in the shower upon arrival, and the area around the tub (grout) was black dirty.

Very convenient location to hospital. Definitely needs to be updated and could use a good scrubbing. Misc hair on bathroom floor not ours and mold in the shower.

This is not a safe area. There were people getting drunk in the parking garage. There were young people going through the hallway on my floor being loud and trying the door knobs on room doors. There was a disturbance in the lobby. Our room was not clean. There was black hair in the sink, a musty smell, and a dirty bath tub.

Room was dirty upon arrival. Curtains were in disrepair. One of two water bottles in the room were already opened and used. Gaps in room door lett noise and light through, loud guests in hall at late hours, severely outdated building, and lingering scent of tobacco smoke regardless on nonsmoking area. This building and services were not to the level of quality I would expect from a Radisson for the price .

The hotel room had an extreme odor. The room was dirty. There were food crumbs on the furniture, garbage on the floor, and hair shaving around the toilet.

Definitely does not live up to the Radisson name. The room was small, full of precipitation, the windows/toilet/mirror were all wet, dead flies on the window ledge in March, the room was cold humid, super dusty, tape holding the remote together, no trash bags in the trash and most of all guests services was no help at all for lost items.

Staff was not very polite or helpful -- dirty coffee cups in our room, appeared to not have been vacuumed, used soap bars etc left in the shower.

Rooms are prerty small, some don't have a fridge so if you are staying a few days be sure to ask. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. But if more than 1 night, or more than 2 people, maybe not the first choice.

The air conditioner did not work well at all during my stay.

Stay was great. However, walls are very thin, as we heard every word of our neighbors until 3 am our first night, and 2 am our second. Only complaint!

The room I was in had a temperature problem. It was either freezing cold or I was sweating to death. I also forgot that this hotel doesn’t provide a fridge or microwave. It used to be a really beautiful, nice hotel, but sadly has fallen into a dump.

The front desk staff were great, housekeeping was okay. At one point they removed the used towels and bar soap from my room but didn’t leave any new stuff to replace it. The walls are extremely thin so I heard the ice machine loud and clear every time someone used it after midnight.

Hotel is a bit out dated. Small rooms. No microwave or fridge which surprused and disappointed me.

I booked this for one price and was charged way more at the hotel, tried to call and speak with manager but no one returned my call.

Overall the stay was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great! Parking was a bit stressful especially in the evening on the weekends. But overall I would definitely stay here again!

Beyond disappointing. Check in as at 3p and dozens of wedding guests including my family didn't have a room till 6p or AFTER. My husband waited in the lobby for 3 hours and missed the wedding reception. To travel 350 miles for a wedding and not be able to get in to your hotel room was quite frustrating. Some guests were offered discounts. Some were not. I was not until I complained again in the morning. He gave me $20 off my $187 room. He lowered my sisters bill to $120. Because she "booked differently". He didn't like that i used Orbitz. Not even a sincere apology was given. The front desk office manager was rude and frankly seemed "bothered" by people expecting better. I will say the wedding reception was lovely and staff did a good job. Though I will never stay at the hotel again. Dozens of wedding guests traveled from out of state and couldnt change because the hotel couldn't get rooms cleaned on time. Some of the wedding party didn't into rooms till 7p. Don't book rooms you can't manage. We would have gladly stayed elsewhere if they couldn't handle the volume. We looked for other hotels but they were booked and we'd have inquired the cancelation fee. Complete nonsense. In 30 years of staying at hotels this was in my top 2 worst for customers service. I love Bismarck and spent ten years of my life there. I expected better from Raddison and from the staff. They poorly represented Bismarck.

Staff was rude and short when trying to ask questions

Check in was 3, we arrived shortly after 3, only to be greeted with a lobby full of people and rude staff advising that they were short staffed and none of the rooms were clean or ready. When asked how long it would take, they advised half an hour....well that didn't happen. Was between 430-5 when rooms where ready. The next day I called down and asked for extra pillows and a blanket, only to be told that they didn't know if they could accomodate because they were still behind and didn't have any extra blankets or pillows. I was finally brought a blanket but no pillows. The rooms were dated and the ice machine was right outside our door and you could hear every ice cube that came out of that machine. Needless to say, I will never be back that property. Which sucks, because I've always had good experiences with Radisson hotels.

I got there and I was missing my debit card. And I also failed to mention that my dog was with me in my reservation. But the manager at the front desk was extremely accommodating and made it happen anyways. She found a room that had the same amenities as the room that I reserved, but allow dogs and she allowed me to pay cash for the room this one time because of my debit card. So, after a long drive from across the state and late to meet up with my Friends. It was really nice to be helped in such a hospitable manner. I wish I remember her name. I believe she's been in her role for a very long time. I think she said 2005, so she is loyal and and amazing at what she does. Thank you for having me. I will be back.

My stay was just fine, nothing to rave about, but not terrible. The person who checked me in skipped the normal spiel about wifi, parking, breakfast, etc. so I had to figure everything out later. The parking garage system is complicated, but convenient when it's working properly.

Very rude staff at the front desk. I was told my room was still dirty upon check in and when I asked how long it would be they told me "hours. You'll be called. Now please leave so we can move on". Absolutely the worst hotel staff I have ever encountered in ever aspect. Will never stay there again.

Front desk was very polite and helpful. However, I had to reactivate my keys 3 different times one day.

The hotel staff was very friendly! Also the gentleman who ran the shuttle service work extremely accommodating!

Clean room with a good location and easy parking. Refrigerator was not plugged in which caused food to go bad overnight, otherwise a good stay.

Centrally located in Bismarck, and you can walk to several restaurants and shops. Parking is convenient and free.

Everyone was nice and very helpful. And it is very convenient to Sanford Hospital.

This property is close to events, shopping, and restaurants.

I wasn’t there long enough to really have an option. Not in the greatest section of town

It's downtown, close to several restaurants and bars. Also close to medical facilities. They keep it up, maintained well. Parking ramp, but free parking. Noisy street noise at night, since it is downtown, but didn't bother us in our rooms. Lounge/restaurant on site is nice.

Located within walkable distance to Medical Facilities as well as Bismarcks downtown shopping district.

The desk personnel tried to help with handicap accessible room needed to be changed 2nd nite. Th hotel desk attendant also allowed us to use a wheelchair belonging to the hotel. This was so helpful. Issues staff are not in control of are: Bar food is the only thing avail. after 1pm during operational hours. Not family friendly as it’s a bar, kids not allowed. No place off to the side for a family with kids to sit & eat their food. We ordered togo & food was 15-20 each 4 orders & barely warm when we got back. I called because my fries ordered were sweet potato fries and got regular fries. There was One employee to help everyone— apologized & said he would bring the order up himself. 2nd Fries were hot but were pretty dry as over done. We ate food as it was. These days I guess door dash and delivery service is the way people go. I personally don’t because I like my hot food served hot. Don’t think hot food delivery is possible in ND winters. Fast food places are around, hospital across the street had food avail. & of course door dash. Restraunt service avail. limited hours 6am-1pm at hotel. No food available the holiday. The items available for sale thru the desk wud be helpful. There were no snack or food item machines or small area staff could sell food items or other things. No microwave or refrigerator in rooms.or even 1 that could be used by guests. Had we known ahead of time we could have brought a cooler and things that would help us.

Restaurant was good. Parking very close but elevator to parking was broken (and had apparently been broken for awhile) so needed to walk stairs. Got email that my room would only be cleaned every 3 days which was fine. Yet when i returned to my room the bed was made. It appeared they started cleani g shower but quit in middle and did not empty garbages. Found this odd and slightly creepy.

Very nice! Couldn’t find restaurant but ate in bar. Wasn’t bad. Burger was good. Wasn’t a fan of the seasoning on the fries.

Staff could care less about guests! Restaurant never open! No fridge or microwave in the room, not much for vending machines! Price per night should be about $45 considering the lack of service(s)

The staff was really nice at their property. The check in staff was super sweet and so was the bartender/waitress at the restaurant. The property looks run down, the chair in our room looked like a car scratched it and the bathroom looked like it had seen better days. However, it was clean so that’s the most important thing to me. The restaurant food is ok, not great.

Hotel is very pleasant and offers Lounge menu for dinner . Breakfast menu is excellent. I originally booked one night but decided to stay extra day.

Restaurant hours were different than info on website. Website info was inaccurate. Desk staff was not eager to provide service or information. Had to knock on kitchen door to get a waitress to serve our table when there was only one other table of patrons present.

Positive. Nice water pressure in shower but valve was stuck to shower position. Nice courtesy driver and easy to park. Hotel was reasonably priced. Bar and restaurant on site. Negs...Front desk needs to be automated and whole place was tired....too long to check in and out.Toilet barely flushed. Others in my group said the same.

The only thing I'd complain about it's the free breakfast they offered wasn't free it coated me 60$ and we didn't get much
