Sheets/comforter were dirty. When I asked for new they said they would I see if they could get to it. They never did the 3 night we were there. Luckily we brought our own blankets. There were candy wrappers in drawers of night stand. The pool was freezing. They hot tub was cemented over. Breakfast was the same each day..whereas at other comfort suites they change the hot breakfast option.

The large room with a sofa made visiting with family very convenient. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. I would encourage them to keep the pool a little warmer as no one enjoyed the pool for long as the temperature was cold. Other than that, everything was top notch!

This hotel would have received an EXCELLENT rating if my sink wasn’t a little clogged. It is very clean and comfortable and so are the beds! Well kept! Breakfast was great! I will indeed stay here again when I return.

The room I was assigned had bed buds, then the second room I was moved too had issues with the tv. The man at the front counter said there was nothing he could do about the tv. I was told I’d get a refund for the inconvenience of getting bit by bed bugs, I never received a refund. I was covered in bites from bedbugs from head to toes that I ended up in the emergency room. I can say I won’t be returning .

The bedding were full of stains and the fitted king sheet was worn and torn in several places. We got another room, two queens, bedding again dirty. We left hotel immediately and went to another. We returned next morning to make sure we were checked out, only to find out night staff did not check us out, even after handing in key cards We will never stay here again.

The room seem relatively clean but it stank terrible. The odor may have been from the air conditioner, a heavy musty smell. A continuous air exchange like the newer hotels have would be much appreciated. Even the bathroom fan it now has, doesn't seem to be moving much air. Thanks for listening.

Overall the stay was an amazing value. The facility was very well maintained, employees were very kind, and the breakfast was better than most. It would have been a 10/10 except the mattress was quite uncomfortable. I felt like I was sleeping on a piece of plywood it was so hard.

Hotel was fairly noisey, could hear people in room above us walking around and flushing the toilet. A/c was loud as well. Beds were too firm. Between both the noise and uncomfortable bed, it was difficult to sleep. Hotel was clean, though.

The worse thing are the beds and pillows. I was more comfortable taking all the comforters and sheets and sleeping on the floor. They are worse than the worse firm mattress. Hard as hell. Pillows were like throw pillows; small square pillows. The ice bucket lid, filty as hell on the handle. Than it snowed Friday and i came in late that night and the parking lot and sidewalks were not cleared. I talked to the guy on duty and he said, we have no one to clean. I said that is an accident waiting to happen. Than went to go enjoy the pool; it was like a sauna walking in the room but yet it was like taking the polar plunge, ice cold pool.

Clean spacious room with a very comfortable bed and a large recently updated bath, easy to operate TV with a remote that actually worked! And 5 pillows on the king sized bed gave us enough to prop up & lean against to watch TV, which was wonderful! Breakfast buffet the next morning had a good selection - only thing missing was flavored creamers for my morning coffee.☺️ With that being the only thing lacking, I give this hotel a 5 Star Excellent rating!

Overall, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites (Toll Gate Drive in Maumee, Ohio). Our room was very spacious. The room had a fridge & microwave. The bed was clean & comfortable. The staff was friendly & helpful. We only had 3 minor complaints… 1) upon arrival (at 10:00PM) there was mud caked throughout the lobby & on our floor. 2) Some of the hot entrees served w/ the included breakfast were not heated through completely (1/2 hour after breakfast started) Please Note: they were completely cooked, just still a little cold; and 3) the pillows were small (square) pillows (about 5-6), rather than traditional pillows.

Our stay (fri-mon) was great. Breakfast was wonderful. The gentleman who oversaw breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning was wonderful. The woman who took over Monday morning, not so much. We could all tell (myself and other guests) she hates her job. She was rude. There was a large family who were using the waffle maker, so there were a few people waiting patiently. I finally got my turn. As i finished up and stepped away to let the next person use it, she jerked the waffle mix out of the machine and very rudely screeched "9 am"! She bumped me, which made me lose a waffle to the floor, and pushed past the poor woman who wanted waffles. She turned off the juice machine while people were actually waiting to get juice. She locked the fridge with the yogurts etc while people were still trying to get some. Her behavior was unacceptable in my opinion. Do better.

Pretty weak when the friendliest person in the place was the guy mopping the floors and keeping the breakfast bar stocked! Front desk personnel seemed less than over-joyed to be there. Kind of like automatons. Probably not the best people to be the front face of your business. We’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn in Gaylord, Michigan a couple of times now and everyone in the place from the front desk personnel to the people who clean the rooms is always cheerful and friendly. Other Comfort Inn locations could take lessons from that one! The Maumee location met our needs, but nothing to write home about…

The room and hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had great options, but the staff was amazing. The check in staff was friendly, supportive and professional in making sure are needs where met after a long drive. the housekeeping staff gave us some assistance with requests. staff w bkfst did a great job and checkout staff was friendly and supportive w a number of guests. The hotel, room and food where great but the STAFF WAS EXCELLENT and I highly recommend this stay because they showed made us feel welcomed, supported and at ease. We will stay here again when going through Toledo.👍5⭐

Travelocity had not sent our paid reservation to the hotel. For over an hour, Lori at the front desk waited patiently while I was on the phone with Travelocity resolving this issue. Lori and all of the staff were courteous and friendly. The stay at the hotel was excellent. I recommend this hotel as five stars!

Hotel itself was fine, breakfast was pretty much non existant. Got there about 7:45 and all the hot food, eggs, sausage ect were gone. also only one slice of bread in the box. Finally found the attendant who was busy talking on her phone. Continued to hold her phone in one hand and attemp to do her job with one hand. Took out the food containers and disappeared. Waited about 1/2 hour with no food arriving. She did come back in to the dining area several times with her still holding and talking on her phone. With that we decieded to leave. First time here. Forgot to take pictures of the room. It was a nice size (2 Queen beds), big enough to get my walker through each area. Zabel is in charge of full breakfast offerings (right on time, clean, neat area, very friendly to guests.) I have mobility issues, so Cynthia immediately made sure I got into a room close to the lobby. Super nice person, as was her son Tajron, who works the night shift. He took a few minutes to greet me, and ssk if there was anything he could help me with. This motel has nice rooms for good prices. But, I think their best value is having special people manning all 3 shifts.

Unfortunately they did not have any rooms available that were quiet and away from the elevator or the ice machines. The woman working the front desk was a bit disappointing, had a bit of a attitude, and not very helpful. Think her name was Kristina. Not my first stay here but probably my last.

The property was in good, clean condition - nicely renovated. It was nice and quiet, the family enjoyed it! It is a hotel worth considering. The only things I would mention are the pillows seemed to be well past their prime, they felt flat and need updating and getting into the hotel off the main road can be tricky.
