Staff was friendly, room was clean however we always book rooms with an indoor pool. Being honest up front about what is actually available is key in forming good experience. When asked about the listing, were told that technically there is a pool on site. That doesn't help. Neither does asking if we want to cancel the room. Several of our dance families were led to believe we could have a good time there. Instead we were confined to our room with crappy tv service simply because they won't open the pool. No good times to be had here. So disappointing 😞

The pool was out of commission, apparently has been for a while due to construction and improvements underway. Didn’t know this until after purchasing on Expedia - I would have looked for something else had I known in advance. There was a $3/ night parking fee that I found out about at check in. Not a big deal because it’s just $3 but who has ever heard of a parking fee at a hotel by the highway… maybe in a downtown area would be expected but I’ve never had a fee in a suburb like this… seems kind of silly. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable to sleep on. Bright light coming in the window. I woke up at 3 AM thinking it was 7 AM and the sun was up. Again, not a huge issue. I closed the thicker blinds and went back to bed.. but that was some serious light coming through the window. Lastly, I was super disappointed in the “hot breakfast”. Eggs were awful and sausage so so… it’s hard to mess up eggs but they pulled it off. The remaining breakfast options were pretty typical and not really worth mentioning. I wasn’t overly impressed with my overnight stay.

The pool filter did not work. There were hairballs on the top. Before I seen that I filled the water and it was too cold for our smallest child to even get in. Breakfast was not impressive. Elevator out of service so had to drag luggage up and down stairs as no room available on main floor that we booked. Pool not working at all. Was told no discount at hotel after the checkin was done and issues told to us Was told we could cancel reservation because of issues BUT ONLY AFTER we checked in and they swiped our credit card. Also it would take 3-5 business days to re-credit the credit card. As of a few hours ago the security deposit still has not been credited back to the card Will not be back

We had a few issues. There was a dirty washcloth on the shower head. Made me wonder how well it was cleaned. None of the vending machines worked. None of the ice machines worked. Needs some upgrades.

We just stayed for 2 nights and it was pretty noisy throughout the night. We were on the top floor but it sounded like people were walking above us very loudly and doors slamming all hours. Pool area was closed but they will refund you. Not very many options for breakfast and the area gets crowded very quickly and gets congested because the area is set up backwards for correct flow. Beds were pretty cozy, front desk staff was friendly. I was shocked on the $6 waters that they put in your room for purchase and also wasn't expecting the $3 parking fee during the stay.

the stay was fine check in was great clerk very helpful there is a lot of general maintenance that needs to happen tiles on the bathroom floor are fastened down ….. the carpet us so filthy it turned my white socks black just a few helpful hints …. the employees children running around the hotel made it feel a lot like a day care rather then a hotel

My main complaint would be the hotel is dirty and the photos are misleading. I was preparing my infant for a bath and noticed a dark ring around the tub, i grabbed a towel to confirm it was dirt and not stained, it was definitely dirty. Housekeeping took care of it. I also had other family members staying in other rooms and they complained of dirty bed linen and towels. There is also only one small wastebasket in the bathroom and if you are on diaper duty it’s highly inconvenient because they don’t clean the room daily. it’s cleaned every 3days if memory serves me correctly. I purchased my own trash bags. There is no one available at the front desk as it seems as though the staff are either always in the back or have multiple roles, that including cleaning. I also was waiting on a ride in the lobby and a man who looked homeless and talking to himself walked in, when he got closer to the elevator he started running through the halls screaming. Luckily my ride came but this probabcoukd have been avoided if someone was at the front desk. Bring your own toilet paper, trash bags, towels.

We were in town to see a relative that was having surgery. We have stayed at this property several times and we decided at the last minute to book a room. I searched online on a 3rd party booking site and found the rate. Knowing that rate, I called the hotel and asked for availability. The representative quoted a price $40 more than the online price. When I questioned that rate, I was told that this was the last room available. This hotel, I was told, was almost completely booked for the night, and if I booked wirh the cheaper rate, my reservation may not be honored. We took our chances with the least expensive rate and drove to the property. When we arrived, the desk clerk mentioned that it was a slow night, and the hotel was NOT booked. When we entered the room, the general appearance was clean, however, the bathroom was not. There was hair in the shower and the floor. Next time, I will be staying with a different chain.

The whole place is dirty. Ice machine leaking all over the floor. Front desk staff less than helpful at all, didn't give any information voluntarily, like pulling teeth just for her to tell us where the elevator was. Bugs on the bed and bathroom was filthy.

Stay was okay. Room had a slight smell that was unpleasant! Stayed Friday and Saturday night and check in and check out process was easy! Frustrated at getting woken up by some loud banging and noisy guests at 3am Sunday morning which continued until 4am

Comfortable room. A positive thing that I noticed right away was the lamps have high wattage light bulbs which was great for reading! Miss Bee set up a nice breakfast spread and was very sweet and accommodating.

Great price, very close to Botanical gardens and the zoo. It was a great location to shopping, restaurants and Meijer. The mattresses are not very comfortable and the rooms needs more outlets by the bed. A mirror by the desk would be helpful to get ready for the day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you Satin for making us fresh coffee when we arrived.

Room was clean and fine as expected. Good state of repair. Heater fan was a little noisy during the night. No towel rack or hook on the bathroom door made showering awkward. Refrigerator had platform that needed repairing with a gaping hole on one side, causing it to wobble. Could do with some outlets near the beds for phone charging at night.

Overall a nice stay. I was on the second floor right along the railing to the stairs and right above the check in area. I had some trouble getting to sleep. Whenever somebody would walk in I could hear the doors, people talking at the front desk, or whenever somebody would walk up the stairs. Overall not a bad place and I would stay again if I was in a different area.

I have stayed at this hotel plenty of times, this time was AWFUL!! I debated leaving. First of all The power blew out in my room within the first hour, the toilet overflowed twice..the hotel gave us 2 plungers to try and plunge it ourselves since maintenance was not available..that is unacceptable..we were not able to use the toilet!! The beds were hard and instead of waking up relaxed we woke up with back pain. The refrigerator was propped up with plastic cups and covering a hole in the tv stand which caused the door of the fridge to not stay closed. Something needs to be done! Room 319

The staff at this hotel are the best you can hope for. They are so kind and friendly. Ms. B, the dining room manager keeps the food area spotless, and she is ServSafe certified. I almost used the bacon tongs for the eggs and she immediately called my attention to cross contamination. I loved that!

The front desk person was extremely rude not to only me but every customer that was down at the front desk. Once getting to my room and realizing I was double charged for my room she told me there was nothing she could do. She has no business working people.

This was by far my worst hotel experience. Check in was a nightmare. They game us a room and we walked in and woke up sleeping people at 2am which almost resulted in aggressive and physical confrontation. The room we finally got was barely cleaned. Bedding was covered in makeup and general dirt.

It was a very easy check-in process. However, our room was right at the top of the 2nd floor and the hotel attendant who was working around 10:30pm allowed a group of VERY LOUD people to congregate in the lobby while they were drinking (not sure if it was alcoholic or non-alcoholic) beverages. Thus, making it very hard to go to sleep after a long 13 hour day of driving. The lobby of a hotel is not a social bar, it is a safe place for people to go to to sleep and grt refreshed for the next day. My husband went out once around 10:30pm to ask the group if they could quiet down and a woman apologized and they did. Then about 11:45pm, we tried calling down to the staff counter and no one answered, so my husband had to go out once again to, this time TELL THEM, what time it was and to quiet down otherwise he was going to have to call the cops. The group was VERY disrespectful and mouthed back to my husband and the night clerk did nothing. They did quiet down after the second encounter, however, the clerk shouldve NEVER allowed this to happen. Hotels are for sleeping not for Partying!!! I will never stay at this specific hotel again.

We had a great stay! Satin our front desk clerk was the best! She made check-in so quick, easy, she was very delightful! We found some issues with our room & she took care of things immediately & was very helpful & courteous. We talked with manager Raven & she was also very friendly & helpful. Overall was a great stay!

Check in process was a breeze. Great help at the front desk with Missy, very informative and helpful. Room was excellent and clean. Location is great with a few restaurants and being right off the highway. We will be stopping here again!

Pretty close to I-80. Clean and comfortable. We arrived after 10 PM and the front doors were locked. We tried to call the front desk but no one answered.We had to bang on the door until someone came out from the back. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to the area.

What we didn't like was that the property had no sign on the building at all so it looks like condos from the road nothing that says Country Inn & Suites. Then the small sign out by the road was not lit up, had no lights on so if your arriving in the dark it's very hard to find the entrance. Also at front desk they said there was a silly $3 parking fee. Why not add it to the room cost and put free parking on the web page. Dumb to go thru that hassle with every guest checking in for $3.

Great price, very close to Botanical gardens and the zoo. It was a great location to shopping, restaurants and Meijer. The mattresses are not very comfortable and the rooms needs more outlets by the bed. A mirror by the desk would be helpful to get ready for the day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you Satin for making us fresh coffee when we arrived.

The location was convenient to the OHIO Turnpike. Nobody was at the counter when we walked in at around 5:30 pm. When the lady did come out, she was rather surly. The rest of the stay went well. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast gave us many choices and the dining area was clean and well attended by Miss Bea.

This hotel advertises a "hot breakfast," yet the only thing that they served that was hot was eggs (that were brown and burnt). Other than eggs you could make a waffle, however, when you advertise a continental breakfast or a hot breakfast, that usually consists of more than one item. The staff was also severely average. I just wouldn't have stayed here if I had known that there wasn't a real breakfast. We ended up having to go out and spend more money on food. There are cheaper places with better amenities. Also, my feet were black on the bottom from how dirty the carpet in the rooms were.

Breakfast had scrambled eggs and see thru bacon, dried cereal toast, the coffee was served in crafts and I tried both the bold and decaf and both were Luke warm! We had a nice stay. Miss Bee does an exceptional job keeping the breakfast area cleaned and stocked. She was so pleasant as well. The front desk staff were also very pleasant and accommodating. I would stay here again.

We prepaid extra for a king suite room, when we checked in, we were told all the king rooms were taken, so only double rooms were available. The desk clerk never apologized, never offered a refund of the difference in price. did not care. The room was ok for half the price, but the price we paid was way to much. The breakfast was minimal, It seemed they tried to do everything the cheapest way possible. Powered eggs, biscuits and gravy, and lots of carbs. Very disappointing, we left hungry. I would not recommend this hotel!

The carpet in the room has not been vacuumed in a while. The bathtub floor was stained black. There were several loose tiles in the bathroom floor. Staff was rude. We were never told about breakfast hours, pool usage, etc.. Room key also was turned off when we still had close to two hours before checkout.
