Super 8 by Wyndham Ardmore

It did have a pool but we didn't swim, it was way too warm of water and was dirty water. The room smelled like cigarettes and mold but it was clean, it was the cheapest I could get on short notice and the location is very convenient. Breakfast was fairly good.

We arrived after midnight, but had to wake the attendant, our room door had to be manhandled in order to use the deadbolt, the shower wouldn’t drain and at 8:00am, the breakfast was completley gone. We knew we had gone cheap, but didn’t expect THAT cheap. Positively, Staff was polite when we woke him and the morning staff was polite when we checked out, the towels smelled of bleach so I know they were cleanish.

Everything was fine except the pool was closed the whole trip

Left the reservation after trying to stay one night! We arrived 20 minutes before check in and was greeted with a very friendly staff member at check in. My family and I unloaded our luggage, changed and drove to OKC. We returned two minutes before 10pm. After checking to see if the pool was open or not we went to our room. Sleep was the last thing we got. The beds are on metal box framing where when we moved they made a bending metal sound. The person above us must have been half elephant because we heard every move they made. On top of it the walls were so thin we heard the tv from the next room. The worst part was that the ac that worked great when we got in the room. Kept shutting off through the night and not even close to the temp that was set. My husband who is an hvac technician for the last 30 years spent most of the night trying to get it to work. Which of course by morning started working great. The bathroom was beyond aged and deprecated. It had missing trim, holes in the wall. Some that I stuffed with tissue paper. And tile grout that literally was black. I told the kids no shower/bath and that they had to wear flip flops when using the bathroom. Oh and don’t forget the tarantula that was living inside the wall of the rear exit door. We then spent the next hour talking with Expedia as they put us on hold to talk to the hotel staff. They denied everything and said that we had to wait until the upcoming Monday for a manager to approve the refund for us not staying.

It was ok. A place to sleep that’s it. It was cheap. Our room AC worked sporadically and the water was lukewarm. They don’t have an elevator either.

The room was large with a very comfortable king size bed. The TV was at least a 55 inch screen. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs and large sausage patties. It also had cereal, oatmeal and waffles. The pool was small, but clean, and even though it's an older hotel, it has been kept very clean. For the price, it was great and I would definitely stay here again.

We were traveling through the area on our way to Texas and needed a place to stay with our dogs. You definitely get what you pay for here. We were in a room right next to the back entrance. The access lock on the outside entry door did not work so anyone could access the hotel. The hotel room doors seemed not that safe either. Wouldn't stay here again.

When you get there the hotel is really hot!!! The hallways are just too hot!! You can smell the cigarette the second you open the door. I personally asked for a nonsmoking room and when i got inside the room that is all you smelled like if someone has just smoked inside. I let them know and people that worked there just sprayed a little bit of perfume and said there you go.The beds are places on top of some aluminum bed base and if you moved in the bed it just made too much noise. If you also book it thru the app you are ask to have to leave $100 in cash or card just in case anything goes missing. THERE IS NO ELEVATORS!! The pool is super super small!! Nothing like the pictures the have uploaded.

The room we got was not what the photos showed. Very old nasty bedding, floors were filthy and they have no elevator so you have to carry everything upstairs. Watch out for the crackheads who can easily access the doors from outside.

Roaches in the room, unfinished repairs (drywall patch in bathroom was the worst, room smelled like smoke, but worst thing was the first floor hallway stunk of weed (seemed like every room)

Property was very outdated and our rooms stunk. We reserved non smoking rooms but they had clearly been smoked in based on the cigarette burns in the carpet. Floors were stained, all furniture was damaged and dirty, black out curtains were filthy. This hotel was in dire need of a remodel. We asked to change rooms but the attendant said it had been more than an hour and we were out of time to request a change. I had been getting our dogs outside and was unloading my mothers and our belongings. I booked based on a few recent and good reviews--I wonder if they had stayed at the same location???? Very disappointed and not worth even the little that we paid.

Absolute dirty roach infested horrible place! Roaches crawling on the walls and found roaches in the bed on the sheets.Rooms we're not cleaned properly .Worst mistake ever booking this place!

My room had bed bugs and roaches, when I asked for a new room I was told that they couldn't change my room because I booked it through Expedia. I had to bed them to change the room and I stayed at a different hotel in this town the other 4 days I stayed in Ardmore Ok

Basic room but very nice. The bed was comfortable, the heater worked great, the shower was exceptional, the room was clean. An overall exceptional experience. We will be back

It was clean, dry, serviceable. Water pressure was a little on the slow side, but is was hot. Neighbors were occasionally loud, but overall, as a day sleeper, I got some rest.

Appears to be a decent place and value for the cost. Looks are deceiving. The bed had a huge wallow in it, luckily I was alone, so I could sleep on one side and avoid the pit. The heat options were off or on, no setting a comfortable temperature. The walls are also paper thin so you can hear even a normal conversation going on in the room next door, as well as anything else. I was planning to be there for a week, I was completely exhaust by the third day from no sleep. Overall the room was clean enough and would probably be bearable for overnight as a cheap option or last resort. I wouldn't stay more than a night and will certainly exhaust all other options before staying here again.

The beds sit on a metal box that makes a thunder noise if you move around on the bed or accidentally kick the bed base. Both our beds were like that and from the sounds of things the bed above us was the same also. Very annoying.

the room was no where near what was advertised on the website holes burned in the carpet and the bedding and furniture looked like it was from the 1970s

Everything was very good, except the room door and bathroom door. It was impossible to close them without slamming them hard with a great noise.

When we checked in the staff was rude he was busy with somebody who was outside unsure who that was the same person was outside that I think may have been the front desk person that was actually supposed to be there. We went upstairs. The TV didn’t work. The bathroom was dirty and it looked like the sheets hadn’t been changed. Phone didn’t work so we could call down to the front desk and let them know all our issues we were so tired we just went to bed and got up and didn’t enjoy the breakfast because of how dirty the hotel was.

Nice Stay Night clerk was very nice and helpful with an easy check in. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good. Overall a very nice hotel and an overall great value. Highly recommended

The staff and management here are very friendly and courteous. No doubt willing to make an extra effort for your comfort during your stay. I highly recommend it as a weekend getaway, overnight business jump spot, or lengthy vacation stay, and will have no regrets choosing them again in the future!

Was given an occupied room at first, luckily they had chain on door. It was easily corrected, a little embarrassing.

I didnt like that the receptionist asks for a security deposit and then they never return it, kinda of a scam. This has happened twice in this place.

The A/C unit in my room did not work. Fortunately, it was cooler outside so it wasn't too hot inside my room. When I went to check out at 6:40am, the person at the front desk was fast asleep in their chair. I had trouble waking him up to try and check out. When I asked for a copy of my bill, he wasn't sure how to get that for me.

We arrived pretty late and Kelly at the front desk was just as friendly as if we had arrived early in the evening. She made us feel welcome, and I even spotted her holding the outside door for people who were struggling to bring all their bags into the hotel. I thought she went above and beyond, and she’s why I’m taking time to review this hotel.

Quiet and accessible to highway

This was one of the best rooms we have stayed in for a long time. Clean, newly remodeled. Lg new micro, new fridge, clean drawers. Hangers, coffee , clean bathroom, new shower curtain. Good breakfast, nice people, very casual, but professional. GREAT PRICE. we stayed 3 days, great freeway access but not noisy. Stay here.

Not far off the highway. For the price it was just fine! Carpet could use a deep cleaning... but the breakfast wasn't bad!

We had a spontaneous trip to Turner Falls and booked this room last minute. It meet our needs perfectly. Only 20 min away from Turner Falls and Lake of the Arbuckles. Room was clean and hotel felt safe.

Building was extremely clean and stay was polite. Great location to restaurants. Will definitely be my first choice to stay again.

It date that is a full continental breakfast and the orange juice machine was out of order that wasn't really hardly anything that would only apples for fruit one morning and I had to go down there and turn the waffle maker on so it would be ready for us at 6:00 cuz we had somewhere to be I don't I wasn't very pleased with the breakfast part

The hotel itself was nice. I had to change rooms due to a yelling occupant across the hall. The gentleman at the desk was awesome!!! Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the breakfast was awful. Lukewarm, sausage was cardboard an eggs were watery. Other than the waffle machine, that was your choice. The apples looked like they'd ben there awhile. Room was clean & fresh. A little out dated, but functional.

The room was clean, bathroom and shower were spacious (and large enough for my 6’5” frame). Furniture was comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Free breakfast was delilicious. And tbh, the price was AMAZING for how great the lcoation were. 13/10, WILL keep coming back and recommend to others.

Sour smell from hallway by the back door. No coffee or juice at breakfast. Had to have crappy coffee from room.

Was very clean friendly staff. Breakfast was awful. Juice machines were out of order and everything except black coffee was empty in the coffee area.

Good breakfast

the breakfast did not have any butter or peanut butter or cream cheese -- the only option was a white toast with jam; juice machine was still broken -- as previous complaints were.....did not have even hot water to make my tea....the service was horrible, I had to alert the man it's out of coffee....it took him forever to bring back one pot that probably filled out barely a half of the coffee container pump, and of course the eggs were watery and cold....no fruit of course
