Medical Inn Motel

Pros: Easy access to medical center. Easy convenient parking. Cons: The air conditioner sounded like it had a pie pan flopping around inside. Kept us awake all night. The toilet was loose and wobbly. Grime in the corners of the bathroom. Ice only available on the second floor. Desk clerk was very "sullen". Never smiled. Continental breakfast was "bare bones". When we got there, it only had coffee and 3 doughnuts, and had an hour to go on the running time for breakfast. Wifi was very slow and hard to connect to.

Old and rundown, photos were misleading. Have stayed in much nicer places for the same price. But when booking on line I guess we take our chances.

The service was good, tho, and was very convenient as I had an appointment at OU School of Oral Surgery which was right down the street (a 4.5 hour drive from where I live, hence the overnight stay). If the need arises, I would probably stay there again. BRING BOTTLED WATER! Oklahoma City's water is HIGHLY chlorinated. Coffee made from it was unsurprisingly bad. To be fair, I have well water at home so I definitely noted the difference.

Mattress leaning against the wall in the hallway was not a good look. Property desperately needs refurbishment. Parking lot is located with poor access to main entrance. Price was in right for a place to sleep for two nights. Woman at the desk was nice and polite enough. Though everything appeared OLD and SHABBY on the outside, our room was fine; it was very clean, as were the linens. TV was great; we didn’t use fridge or microwave, though other guests certainly might. It was also very quiet, and the mattress was unusually comfortable. But the exterior and surrounding neighborhood were extremely undesirable. No one would want to be outside after dark, but we felt safe indoors. I hope some improvements can be made there because there would be a need for accommodations for families of hospital patients. Serious need for UPGRADE!

As you walk in the door it smells of mildew/mold and smoke of cigarettes and weed. The lady who checked us in seemed annoyed they we were there to check in. The parking lot was full of trash everywhere. Broken bungee cords, broken chairs, etc. Also, in the parking lot there was always other visitors but they seemed very creepy. My family felt very unsafe. In our room- it smelled of drugs among other things. The smell was so bad we had to go get air fresheners. The room was constantly hot even though we had the AC set to the coldest it would go. We think it’s bad placement caused the unit to think it cooled the room when it only cooled the corner. The bathroom was dirty. The sink didn’t function properly. There was a 1 1/2in gap under our door into the hall. It let in so much noise, light, and smoke in - even though our floor was no smoking on that floor. The wall where the AC is- was falling apart. The lights didn’t function properly. Claims to have complimentary breakfast but if prepackaged baked goods are breakfast then I could’ve gotten a better meal at a gas station.

It kind of smelled like cigarettes

Smelled like smoke, there was mouse poop in the bed and everywhere else. Door didn’t shut all the way. Overall it was a slum. Didn’t want to risk my family there so got refund and found another place. Would NOT recommend!

Bathroom floor was dirty. It says thay serve breakfast. Nothing at all but coffee. No fruit nothing. I was told by the Children's Hispital that my grabdson would be goung home so i canceled my second night. When i went in at 9 oclick at night to pay that night because they didnt release my gradson the owner was hateful. He told me i couldn't stay there for the amount i was quoted by Hotels com because i canceled my night that morning. I made my reservations at 8:25 at night. He said because i had reservations the night before i had to pay his higher price. He wouldn't even look at my email conformation. He finally called the service and they told him i did have reservations. He got mad at them and told them something. I couldnt understand what he was saying. Said they had vending nachines, no they didn't. I only stayed because i just needed some place to sleep and didn't want to drive 2 to 3 miles that late at night to find another hotel. This was a horrible experience. Don't stay there.

This was a roach motel without the roaches. There was food in the microwave food in the refrigerator. The bathroom was dirty. All the faucets leaked no elevator to the second floor, and while we were there, other people were given a room key, and when they went in the room was already rented with people in it.

Clean and quiet all the adminity I would have expected from a much higher room rate my needed some maintenance door latch from the outside would not latch sink water falume was very low and the toilet paper holder was about to fall off the wall everything else was very good

This motel is an older property, but it is in good repair. Furnishings were not new but very comfortable. Our bed was a king and was great. We stayed 2 days and it was fine. My husband had a medical procedure at the VA facility (about a block away). We definitely would stay there again if the need would arise.

It is a small very quiet place only complain is pillows were way to thin neck was soar the next door

Got chastised for using Expedia. They said it's cheaper to book directly. My room smelled and was covered in black mold. Had to retrieve my own toilet paper. No real breakfast. Was a single muffin and Tampico. Needless to say with the grime of the property I wouldn't eat an open muffin.

The property refused me service and told me that they did not know how to use the hotel.com system because they just purchased the hotel. They did not allow me to stay arrived at around midnight and had to look for another location asked for a refund they told me they don’t know how to initiate it, I haven’t heard anything from HDC so obviously they didn’t follow up and allowing partners to run free Willy. I’m disappointed.

It was CHEAP! and no one broke into my car or shanked me in the parking lot! Surprisingly…If you don’t have a lot of spending money and you don’t mind sleeping on a rock, this is the place for you. I will say the guy behind the front desk was cool AF. Just don’t walk around that side of town unless you’re wanting to be on the news later.

We got back to the room at 10 30 a.m. We was going to wait to actually check out at check out Time so we wouldn’t have to wait in the car so long for my daughter appointment. Long story short. By the time we got back. They were already cleaning our room but we hadn’t checked out yet. So probably wouldn’t be staying the anymore.
