Comfort Inn & Suites Oklahoma City near Bricktown

No air condidioning in the lobby and breakfast area. Also no tables or chairs in the breakfast area. The rest of the building was ok.

Lobby AC was broken, which made for a hot check in, but the room was comfortable and clean. Full area was clean but hot. Fence around the property made it hard to get in and out of..

There was no a/c in the lobby, but thankfully there was in the room. The TV didn’t work in our room, but since I don’t usually watch TV, that didn’t bother me. Overall, it was a good stay.

Our day was OK, but the pool is not heated, even though it’s indoors too cold to swim in winter/spring months

The lobby's central air sysytem was not working and there was standing water on the floor to the gym. The pool was dirty with no chemicals. The elevator was broken. When we got to our room it was in mild disarray. The curtain was torn down on one side. And the floor had not been vaccumed. Also, we didn't have a full set of towels and washcloths. I would not recommend staying here.

Elevator was broken and not told until after I checked in. By then I was to tired to go look somewhere else

Front desk inattentive, two side doors open to outdoors from stairwell. Elevator not working. Multiple cabinets beaten up. Breakfast was being cleaned up at 8:30 when it was supposed to be closed at 9.

Close to downtown and clean. Indoor pool was cold and the pool room was cold.

Wifi didn't work, even when we were given the "admin" password. The shower had no water pressure. The window sheers had been cut off two feet from the top. No A/C in the lobby. Continental breakfast was only three things.

Chose a different hotel. It was dirty. Homeless people were camped behind the hotel and approached us asking for money when we pulled up

We didn’t stay in this hotel, had to cancel and book somewhere else bc this place was DISGUSTING. burns on all of the sheets (we switched rooms 3 times), boogers on the walls, and smelt of smoke

We checked in and the receptionist gave us keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned. We got a new room and found bugs in one of the beds

There was still a dirty boot in the closet from the previous guest and stuff on the floor.

Rooms came splattered with all kinds of liquids on the walls and ceiling, phone rarely worked and the plumbing kept backing up.

The room was not cleaned appropriately. There was excrement on the door in bathroom. The staff responded immediately. There were yellow spots on the bedspread that were disturbing.

Everything about the hotel was terrible , blood stains on shower curtains , room smelled so bad . I booked it for 2 nights I couldn’t stayed left with my kids at 7am next day

Night shift was the worst , he gave someone my room key WITHOUT asking for ID then proceeded to get upset and call the police on me and kicked me out 2 days before my stay was over . They don’t come and clean, I asked for towels they made me damn bear beg for them and there is smells on the sheets because it was probably not even washed.

The place is straight up dirty. Hair on the sheets, clump of hair in the bathroom, damaged furniture like the floors have been flooded, musty mold smells in the hallways, hardly any AC in the hallways, mold growing on the walls by the pool. Service was mediocre and I heard multiple guests at the front desk complaining. My king size bed came with very small square pillows, not enough for two people. Mattress was hard as a rock, and to top it all off the exterior is swarming with unhoused people, and I am pretty sure I witnessed drug deals out my window. I liked the cheap price, but quickly realized it was not worth feeling unsafe. Beware. Unfortunately I only got a picture of the pillows, because I thought it was a joke and was laughing about it.

There was a pile of ketchup on the floor of our room and what we assumed were the dirty sheets that nobody took out with them it was disgusting.

As soon as we walked into our room we noticed it smelled bad, dead roaches on the ground, dirty rags left in the bathroom. Later that evening I sat on the toilet and the seat was so loose I almost fell on the ground. When I took a shower it wouldn’t drain and by the time I got done there was 6 inches of standing water in the tub. I would’ve been okay if it stopped there but no. From 9:30pm to 3:30 am I made four noise complaints on the people in the conjoining room next to us. Every time I called the front desk they promised they would handle it. After the second call the front desk clerk at least came up to the second floor and talked to the people in person. It was “quiet” for about two hours before the yelling, loud music, and door slamming started again. After the third call I was told they were going to be kicked out but that never happened. I’ve stayed in this hotel before and not had these issues but this stay will definitely be my last stay.

The last checking in was a bit abrasive, however I know we’re all human and it wasn’t a massive deal. However as soon as we hit the elevator to head towards the 4th floor we could instantly smell weed, then the 4th floor completely smelled like dog poop. The room was slightly better but I had to completely cover my nose to make it to the room without gagging.

There was no curtain liner for the shower. The curtains were broken so we weren’t able to completely close them. The shower pressure was abysmal. Everything seemed pretty clean but also seemed a little run down.

There is a desk chair in the room, but no desk to put a laptop on. bath towel was yellow like someone sprinkled piss on it. I did go buy some towels after that.The wrong size pillows on the bed. I even took pictures if you need me to send them.

The check-in process was extremely slow. After finally getting to our room there was a musty odor & no microwave as advertised. This was reported to the front desk immediately & they said they would have one brought to the room. We did an initial inspection of the room, waited for the microwave, & spent time getting settled a bit. After a couple of hours we elected to get out & about so on our way out we stopped @ the desk & asked a 2nd time for the microwave to be delivered while we were out because we would need it when we returned. We were gone for several hours then upon our return, we waved our hellos to the same front desk person we spoke to 2x already about the microwave. After going up to our room & wanting to have some leftovers, guess what…no microwave. Frustrated we returned to the front desk & asked a 3rd time when will the microwave be delivered but was told “here you can carry this one up.” Though this was irritating: that we have to carry the microwave to our room, we went with it. Now that we were winding down from travel & settling in for the night we inspected the room more closely to discover: no privacy latch, the blackout curtains were not properly hooked to the rod so there wasn’t really a blackout once the sun came up the next morning, the drapes were very dirty with what we THINK was some sort of food splatter, there was no iron, & the WIFI was pretty much nonexistent due to it being EXTREMELY slow

constant noise All through the night, stomping, bamming of walls being hit, the breakfast bar ran out of food before 9:00. The refrigerator did not work, I will say the front desk did ask if I wanted to move rooms, which now in hind sight I wished I would have.

Didn’t receive room service throughout the stay. Door doesn’t lock all the way, one hard push & it’ll open. Made me nervous when I had to leave the room with my things inside.

The bed was very hard, too hard to sleep on; the door did not close properly; and even though we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, housekeeping opened the door anyway. Also, the air conditioning was not working in the lobby, hot in there as well as the breakfast area;

Staff very friendly. Room very clean. Easy access to downtown.

There was NOONE at the counter for about 10-15 minutes and we had to search someone and actually call the location to get someone to come to the front counter. There were no towels in the bathroom. The property was ok but it was not the safest looking area.

As unfair as it might seem to judge the entire staff of a hotel by the interaction with one employee, I have to say the reception and checkin was less than welcome. The person who checked us in was unfriendly and close to be judged as rude. She didn’t bother to explain anything if I didn’t asked. I mean she just gave us the key, which by the way she took her good time, and sent us off. I had to ask basic instructions of the hotel and getting responses as I was being a nuisance. The hotel is very good and our room was clean and well equipped. We did have good stay though.

The customer service is trash & the front desk workers do not care. If you book more than one room they will charge you separately & add tax plus a $50 deposit to each room you book. Idk maybe it’s me I’ve never had to pay separately for rooms I reserved ahead of time. They did not have my rooms ready & I had to argue with the staff in order to get 2 rooms next to each other. Remind you I called ahead of time to check my reservations & make sure the rooms were next to each other which I was told I was good. I get here I pay for my rooms I go grab my suitcases soon as i walk back in I’m told they had to change my rooms & tried to give me separate rooms again. I was ready to walk out & request a dispute through my bank. I will never book here again. Not only that the fact that the man at the front desk was argumentative rubbed me wrong. I felt he wasn’t supporting the customer, nor trying to resolve the situation. If it wasn’t for my daughter I really would’ve left I don’t like spending my money in places that are rude & have trash customer service. Plus it’s a lot of activity around here & it’s next to a truck stop.

Our stay at Comfort Inn on our 44 th Anniversary 10/22/24 ,we didn’t like the fact that the room was in the back,away from the front parking lot. Then it was on the fourth floor,which we weren’t asked at the time of the reservation if it was alright? Had to go to another floor for ice because ice machine was not working,Tv kept freezing up so we just turned it off! The room was near a noisy area which disturbed our rest,we give it an 21/2 star.

Not all that great of service.

I was woken up at 2 am by someone trying to open the door. The key card they used worked. Thankfully I had the safety lock on. They tried multiple times. I woke up because I heard the door hitting the safety lock over and over. The person asked me to open the door. I said no. They said it was Jacob from the front desk and I was not supposed to be in the room. He said he was going to call me on the phone and I said no, we are sleeping. He yelled through the door again that I wasn’t supposed to be in that room and he didn’t know who assigned me to this room. He then said my name out loud through the door and confirmed it was me. I said yes. Regretfully. I wish I wouldn’t have confirmed my name to this fool. We went back to sleep and the next morning I asked the front desk about it… honestly to confirm it was someone from the front desk and not some one that was up to no good. They said “oh yeah it was a system error and we were trying to figure out how many rooms we had clean”. It sounds to me like it was either over booked or someone was trying to get in to hurt me. Either way, I told the front desk I was going call the police and also call corporate and she said okay, there will be compensation. I called corporate and they took notes I guess and gave me a case number. I don’t really need compensation but I do need to make sure everyone knows that this happened here and I’m really not sure if it was just awful customer service or if there are some bad characters.

I was shocked and very impressed with the desk clerk. I wish I would have got her name. She was so nice, from the moment I was greeted at the desk. I have had many bad runs with desk staff that don't put their phone down to make eye contact or actually hear what your saying because in less the 2 minutes they will ask you the question you just answered. Bravo to her manager, I would have her teach your other clerks the right way to treat guests.

Friendly service

The area of this hotel was horrible homeless everywhere the rooms were clean but I couldn’t stay here. I had my wife a daughter with me and was worried for their safety. I highly do not recommend this. If you book it there’s no refund and staff has an attitude do not book I wasted money and drove an extra 3 hours into Arkansas to get a better area hotel! We go here went to get food and got back to try and get a refund and just left and said no we’re not staying here the entire area is hostile

Not in the best area, but very minor “issue”. 5 min drive to Bricktown, easy freeway access, rooms are spacious and clean, would stay again!

Comfort Inn and Suites at Bricktown was in such a terrible area that it had a security gate surrounding the parking lot that it was somewhat protected. Homeless people were all around the property. When we booked the property, we thought we booked the I 40 location. The map directions took us to that location where we were informed that they didn’t have our reservation. When we got to the Bricktown location, it looked nothing like the picture on the Expedia site. Because of the fence we could not park our car which was towing our boat behind it. We were unable to stay there, but even if the parking lot had had a place for the boat, we would’ve been afraid to stay there. It looked completely unsafe. This site should be taken from Expedia list of acceptable hotels. We are pursuing getting our money back. We went to the I 40 location and paid for another room. It was a lovely location and we spent the night there.

The title of the hotel was deceiving. This hotel is a few miles from brick town in a very sketchy & unsafe area. It is 5-10 minutes away from bricktown & the zoo. But not a place I would go back too. The only good thing was it was clean but had a funny smell.

The area surrounding the hotel is quite sketchy. Lots of people asked me for money when I went into the convenience store next door. Definitely do NOT leave anything in your car.

Not in the most safest areas in the city but it had gates surrounding the property. The 4th floor smelled like mildew and just old. Bathroom had dead bugs on the floor and nothing looked wiped down.

The area is terrible and not at all ideal. Not much within walking distance if you dared to venture out, and across from a Greyhound bus station. The rooms were nice, and staff was friendly, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again because of its location.

The property smelled like Marijuana, the pillows on the bed were terribly uncomfortable, it was noisy all night as I woke up to load noises 4 different times from midnight to 6am, and it was 2 miles from Bricktown. However it was advertised as "walking distance to Bricktown".

Area is iffy but hotel seemed safe. A couple of miles from Bricktown. Would use this hotel again.

Location was okay. Breakfast was disgusting. Biscuits were raw. Burnt bacon. Squished bananas and watered down juice. Room had only 1 bath towel and 2 wash rags. Soap holder was broken and sitting under the sink. 1 bed needs to be replaced. Employees kids hanging out inside and homeless wandering around outside at night.

Great hot breakfast, eggs, biscuits & gravy, cereal, Belgian waffles, milk, coffee (many creamers), juices, etc. Room was clean, shower was great, and the staff was extremely friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall a good stay for the money, but kitchen staff at breakfast was too busy on their phone to be bothered. Sausage burned, no water available, one flavor muffin (banana nut) so overall i'd say avoid breakfast, but the hotel is in good shape, very clean, desk staff helpful, but again, cell phone use by staff annoying.

The room looked like it was newly remodeled. Breakfast was great. Sausage could be improved.

Cockroaches in the bathroom and hookers next door. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The halls were warm and musty felt like no a/c. The first room we got the TV was broken upon arrival they gave us a new room no problem just the curtains were broken in the new room and the end tables were also broken. No dead bolt on the door. The breakfast was a joke they had a sign up about limited egg availability due to shortage, no coffee creamer and the a/c unit dripping on people dining below. We booked two nights and were so uncomfortable we didnt stay the second night. Lost our 100.00 for the second night.

It was a great surprise how big and spacious the rooms are. Very clean and quiet for the weekend that we stayed. Breakfast could have been better, but they did have a nice variety of things to choose from. The had a very nice coffee bar with a large selection of creamers and flavoring. Overall, the next time we’re in the City, we’ll most likely book again.
