Second time at this property. There is always multiple areas on the beach out front to build fires in which the property supplies wood and chairs along with blankets for the beach so you can sit around the camp fire with family & friends. Wine in the evenings and a wonderful breakfast service in the morning... The coffee is amazing also. Local restaurants are amazing also, highly recommend the Bistro and Newmans at 988 for dinner... Just make reservations and enjoy this beautiful beach town.

beautiful property. Our room had a fireplace and balcony with the most beautiful view of Haystack rock. The staff helped with our every question and said they’d even start a fire on the beach for us if wanted. Can’t say enough good about them.

Staff was friendly and helpful. A shuttle van was provided to take and pick us up at a local restaurant. Driver was friendly and quick. The ocean view of haystack rock is outstanding and the rooms are sound proofed so ocean waves did not disturb sleep. Fresh cookies, candy, chips and water provided free. I was super overworked and stressed and decided to take my teenagers to cannon beach. I chose this hotel because of its closeness to haystack rock. I was so pleasantly surprised when I realized how catering this property is. They have tons of free snacks and waters, movies take to your room, they have wine a reception at 6 and a night cap (sparkling cider and wine) delivered to every room with chocolates in the evening(do not disturb sign will prevent you from being disturbed don’t worry) they have a cool car to drop you off and pick you up in cannon beach where you please. And for the best part for me anyways.. I told them I wanted a fire at such and such time with a s’mores pack and when we walked to the beach for our sunset fire the fire was lit, there was blankets and chairs around the fire and our s’mores stuff sitting on the chair. It was all ready and waiting, I could just enjoy. Their free breakfast is good too. The kids wouldn’t stop trying the shower. The one we had in our room had I think 3 shower heads and a wand so make it 4 shower heads haha. I’m sure I’m missing some of the great things about this property but one of the greatest was the front desk gal she was so accommodating and friendly she always had a smile. She never seemed off put or anything just big smiles and the no problem I can do that attitude. I needed this place. Next time I’m leaving the kids at home so I can enjoy this fantastic place with my partner.

The service and staff are VERY NICE. They give you so many amenities with free snacks and water, free refreshments brought to your room every evening, setting up the bonfire with chairs and blankets, and breakfast! Amazing services with a location right on the beach. The facilities are very clean and new looking. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent property, best service you could possibly get in Cannon Beach. Bathrooms have heated floors and very well equipped - with double showers, body sprays, hand showers and very roomy. Breakfast and night cap service were nice touches. It was a very cozy, comfortable and welcoming experience that I highly recommend. The only problem I had was the parking spaces were extremely tight for full size vehicles.

Superb hotel location and excellent friendly staff. Very well maintained and delicious hotel breakfast included. Our first floor ocean room view was spectacular. The bathrobes provided came in handy when we did the polar plunge into the Pacific Ocean which was a definite highlight among the endless wonders of Cannon beach. Priceless!!!

A beautiful hotel with an exceptionally nice location and great service. However, my room had no air conditioning and it was intolerably hot in the afternoon. Discussed this with the manager and he credited me for a night's stay. A fair resolution, but lack of AC should have been noted when I booked this expensive room.

Rooms were wonderful. Nice and roomie. Complimentary breakfast was great. The only thing I did not like is privacy on the balcony. Your neighbors next door are like a foot away from you when we are all out in our balconies. Other then that it was great.

Our stay was amazing! Ocean side views! Staff friendly. Room was great! Clean, spacious sleeping, seating area, and bathroom. The bathroom had heated floors... what a special touch! Awesome views of Haystack Rock from our deck. To top our evening off, we took advantage of the beachside fire at night and enjoyed a glass of wine! I would definitely stay here again and again!

One of the best stays we have ever experienced. From check in, to a “wine hour” , to a beautiful room ….we had a wonderful experience. Complimentary nightcap with a port wine finished the evening . Next morning was a very good breakfast, with eggs, sausages, potatoes etc and check out was a breeze. Coffee and water always available, and was an awesome experience. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ocean Lodge Cannon Beach! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home — so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It’s the little touches here that really stand out: warm cookies at the counter, thoughtful complimentary goodies, and a cozy library space upstairs where a simple but satisfying breakfast is served each morning. The evening wine reception was such a lovely surprise, and the staff even built a fire for us — complete with s’mores! It made the whole experience feel extra special and memorable. The location truly couldn’t be better. Haystack Rock is just steps away, and the whole lodge is wrapped in the beautiful, calming mist of the Pacific Northwest. Outstanding! It was the perfect location to operate out of for our family vacation-close to hiking trails, dining options, and of course the beautiful beachfront! The continental breakfast was more than we imagined it would be. The evening wine tasting was a special treat. Great accommodations. We were sad to leave for the second leg of our journey!

I can’t believe this is only a 3 Star Hotel. The staff treats you like you’re at the Ritz Carlton. They are absolutely wonderful, attentive and try to give you an amazing experience. The location cannot be beat. They offer complimentary breakfast, complimentary daily cheese and wine, complimentary snacks in the lobby and a complimentary turn down service each night with local chocolates and port wine. Additionally, they have a driver that will take you to Midtown or Downtown ..again, all complimentary. The room was very clean, a nice size, has a fireplace, a kitchenette and a large updated bathroom. Definitely recommend having dinner at the Stephanie Inn next door- it’s a 10 out of 10 experience.
