Parking was a bit tough

The inn keeper Laurie Was simply the best, very helpful and accommodating would definitely come back!!! She went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The room was two steps to the beach.

The location, helpful staff and complimentary water toys were a huge plus!

We were only here for one night but it was absolutely perfect! The room is right on the beach and Haystack Rock is visible from the Adirondack chairs right outside the door. Possibly to see bald eagles, sea stars, elk, and definitely bunnies.

We stayed at Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock in early October for my birthday, and it was nothing short of magical. The weather gave us perfect fall temperatures, and from the moment we checked in (online and super simple!), everything felt welcoming and easy. Clear directions and signage made finding the unit a breeze, and assigned parking meant we just pulled in and relaxed. Walking into the unit, we were greeted with how clean the unit was — fresh-smelling, spotless, and clearly well cared for. The layout was so cozy and well thought out, with everything we needed to feel at home—and then that view. Our picture window framed the coast and Haystack Rock so perfectly, it looked like a living postcard. Thoughtful touches like boot brushes outside the door (much needed after beach walks!) and a curated info packet inside with must-visit places—like Mo’s, where I fell in love with their clam chowder—made our stay even more enjoyable. The wildlife is fun to spot (though they do what wildlife do, and leave a few “reminders”), but the Sea Sprite team kept things tidy. The location is ideal—quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive to town shops and restaurants. I would stay here over and over and over again. If you're even thinking of booking—do it. It’s cozy, scenic, and unforgettable. Just don’t blame me when you never want to leave.

Loved this stand alone beachfront cottage! The best front yard ever grassy area with picnic table and 2 adirondack chairs for best happy hour setting. Beds super comfy. Cozy furniture to watch movies at night. Great little kitchen with round kitchen table great for dinner or crafting. Best flip of the switch fireplace that really warms! Will be back for sure! Enjoy the ocean view from cottage if raining and cold. Walk right outside steps from beach. Steps lead down to beach. Super clean 2 bedroom get away!

We booked the studio, ocean facing. So much charm! It was perfect for our family of 3. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surf and sand. Easy access to beach and Haystack Rock easy walk (tide pooling was awesome). Tons of food options closer to town. However studio also had a small kitchenette for longer stays. We’ll be back!!!

I loved my stay at Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock. I had a one bedroom, ocean front suite with a pullout sofa bed, dining area, kitchenette, and ocean view balcony with two chairs. It was room #3, upstairs with a stunning view of Haystack rock and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Check in was super easy. They sent me an email with a door code and precise directions so all I needed to do was park, walk up the stairs, and put in my door code, no waiting, no key to lose, totally private and convenient. Shortly after arriving I received a phone call from the front desk making sure I was checked in and had everything I needed. Great service! The sofa bed malfunctioned so I had to call for a handyman. The process was super easy I just called the front desk and within 15 minutes he was at my door. He was friendly, efficient, and quick, solving the problem with a smile. The accommodations are comfortable and the room was clean. It’s not luxurious, definitely not 5-star accommodation, but it is comfortable, perfectly suitable for the beach, literally steps from the sand ,and has possibly the best view you can get in Cannon Beach. The price was about $500 per night with tax and fees included.

2 nights stay here wasn’t enough. We enjoyed every minute of it! The cottage was impeccably tidy and clean and perfect for a cozy weekend for the 4 of us. The bunnies on the property kept the kids entertained and happy. We can’t forget to thank them! Can’t wait for our next stay here.

We had excellent stay here! The cabin was very clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and very thoughtful. The beach is accessible and an easy walk to the Haystack Rock. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.

Great location on the beach with amazing views of Haystack Rock. Staff was incredible and easy walk to local coffee and store. A little longer walk to downtown and easier via beach, or you can climb the road for a more intense walk. The only reason for 4 stars is the ability to clearly hear everything from the room below. Although, not a noisy place and sounds of the surf are nice.

I have to wonder why the bathroom had not been modernized It was more like a closet in size with the toilet very low to the floor making it uncomfortable. The shower was also very small.

I love the Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock. The rooms might not be 5 star quality but they are comfortable, the view especially from top floor rooms 2 or 3 are outstanding! Having a kitchen is great because as much as I love Cannon Beach the food offerings are lacking. The staff take great care of me and I’m lacking for nothing when there. I won’t stay anywhere else in Cannon Beach!! If they upgraded the amenities to 5 star quality they would be unstoppable. As they are currently it’s perfectly comfortable, clean, and well presented! A+ in my book!

Quaint comfortable picturesque. We were upgraded free of charge and the staff was very kind and welcoming. Direct access to the beach and the views are awe inspiring. A family of bunnies live on the lawn outside our door and added to the ambiance. Groceries and restaurants within walking distance.

This property is phenomenal! The staff is amazing. So sweet and kind and thoughtful. When we arrived we had two personalities birthday cards and candy welcoming us and celebrating our birthdays. Direct access to the beach and the view of Haystack is breathtaking. I will never not daydream about our stay here.

I came to walk the beach at Haystack Rock. When I arrived, the notified me they had upgraded me to a beach view at no extra charge. The room was clean and had tea, coffee, kettle, kitchen supplies, anything that I could possibly ask for. I'll definitely be booking a stay at Sea Sprite when I decide to come back.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Cathy was very kind, called, warned me about the windstorm, and came out to greet me when I arrived to point me to the parking spot and my suite. The kitchen had all the basic accessories for cooking, dining, and cleaning up. The fireplace was lovely, and, the view, amazing. Very short walk to the beach.

What a great spot!!!! Stayed in cottage number 5. Perfect Beach Front stay for 4. Had an awesome fire on the beach with s’mores! Staff is kind and even had our room ready early. Enjoyed exploring the town’s shops and galleries. Really nice calls prior to arrival. Highly recommend.

Awwsome location and view!

This property more than met our expectations for a restful stay at Cannon Beach, Oregon. We were met in the parking area by a property representative, shown the premises, and knew right away that we made the right choice. Cabin was only a few yards from the beach with a front window view of Haystack. Being a bit “off season” we felt as though the place was ours alone. Our stay was everything we could’ve asked for…and more. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.

Everything about this place is amazing! The beachfront location is perfect- it is close enough to walk along the beach to the restraunts/shops, but also far away enough to be peaceful. The hosts are kind and thoughtful, and the cozy rooms have everything you could need!
