The Beach Access and views from this property are tremendous! I think the location is also great, it is a 2 min drive from Cannon Beach ( the small town), Haystack Rock is easily walked to, Hug Point etc. is just a few miles/easy drive down the road and the staff was easily the nicest, most accommodating hotel staff that I have encountered on the coast (of both Washington and Oregon). Our room was clean and pretty nice for the price. The couch was a little bit old, but that's ok. The fireplace didn't work but maintenance came out and fixed it right away. The elevator to our building was out of order, but it was being worked on continuously ( they were obviously taking it seriously, not just ignoring the issue.) The ice machine near us was also out of order, but the one in the lobby worked and was only a short walk to get to. The ease of beach access made up for all of those small nuisances. We had a great time, we have stayed at 4/5 diff places within a 6 or so mile radius of Cannon Beach, and this was our favorite :) We will be staying here the next time we visit the coast!! (Oh and they have pet friendly rooms, which is a plus for many I am sure..:)

We loved our stay at tolovana inn! We stayed 2 nights while doing a road trip along the Oregon coast. We chose to stay here as the location was perfect and we loved that it’s right on the beach. There are cute little bunnies on the property. Some more highlights include the barbecue area, the hot tub and sauna, and helpful staff. Our hotel room was cleaned after this first night which we weren’t expecting as we were only staying 2 nights. Another bonus was the free electric vehicle charging station. We will definitely be returning!

The staff was excellent and we appreciated their suggestions and friendliness also. We loved having a laundry and indoor heated pool on site after a long road trip. The shower did not run hot and the drain was slow so getting clean was the only drawback.

I loved this property because you have the opportunity to enjoy inside and outside the building. They have a great warm pool, comfortable areas for grilling. It’s clean and the staff are very friendly.

Easy beach access. Restaurants on-site and nearby. Very friendly staff. Loved the saltwater pool and hot tub. They also had a sauna. Only thing would've been nice to have a breakfast (even continental) of some sort.

Our room was much smaller then we thought it would be. There was no A/C and we couldn't keep our window open because our window faced the hallway and would not be secure for sleeping. The shower head blasted water all over the place and got the entire bathroom floor wet. We ended up having to leave and stay somewhere else because of an awful smell coming from one of the other units. It must have been coming from someone cooking in another unit and smelled up our entire room.

We love our stay at Tolovana Inn! The check-in staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was great since it was right by the beach and you could see haystack rock from there. I would definitely visit again.

The beach and view were outstanding. The suite was spacious, and the staff were polite. However, housekeeping never refilled supplies such as coffee, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.. We kept having to call or visit the front desk to get items. There was one day the room wasn't cleaned at all. The mattress was the worst we've ever had at a hotel - squeaky, crunchy, flat, sunken - basically needed to be replaced. For the price we paid, a breakfast, even just a continental breakfast, would have been nice. We would stay there again for the beach and ocean view, no other reason.

The pillows and bed weren’t comfortable. The floor was dirty. The bath towels were, one ok, the other like the discount bin at the dollar tree. The Walmart deck chairs were cheap. For the price, not that good

This hotel has the best position. Our room has a great view. It is clean, spacious and functional. We really enjoyed walking on the beach to see Haystack Rock during sunrise. The beach looked like a mirror with low tide. If we come back to Cannon Beach, Tolovana Inn will definitely be our first choice. The only problem is that it doesn't have its own restaurant, so we had to go to downtown for food. But it is OK with only a few minutes driving.

Great location right on the beach and close to a lot of nearby hikes! The actual room and hotel were fine. Shower pressure was great and it was clean. The room we stayed in did not have a lot of privacy as our window was right on a balcony facing the courtyard and the rooms have paper thin walls. Curtains would be a huge improvement and some added noise reduction so you can’t hear your neighbors. Overall worked for our short stay.

We come to Cannon beach twice a year and always on the 4th of July to escape fireworks for our dogs. This was the best place we have stayed in all our years coming here! Right across from Farm Fresh groceries and coffee shop, right on the beach, Mo's restaurant all within in short walking. The rooms are very clean and recently remodeled, it had everything we needed and this was the first time we felt "at home" with all the comforts and not having to just deal with a room because it was a holiday weekend and not our actual house, missing a few things. The studio had everything! My hubs and I both said we are only going to stay at the Tolovana going forward! The staff was beyond friendly to us and our Great Danes!

The view from the location can’t be beat. Watching sunset from here, being able to have fires on the beach and its quiet location were all highlights. The only downside is that many of the units, including the one we stayed at have Murphy beds. And while they have tried to make them comfortable, they are not. They also do not have air conditioning but do have box fans so that helps the air flow in the room.

Will not stay here again. The room was really small, hardly any room to walk around. There is no A/C, fridge or microwave and tv was small as well. Definitely not worth the price i had to pay.

The location is unbelievable, it's truly on the beach. Just be aware there is no AC and some of the rooms are small. Doesn't matter much when you're right on the beach! I liked it.

While we didn’t choose a room with an ocean view, it was just a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately, the walls were so thin in our room we heard everything next door and there was a foul smell in the bathroom.

We showed up early and wanted to check in early so they gave us our first night free to upgrade to a suite! It was really nice we had a view of the ocean, we had everything we needed. The staff were so kind and welcoming it was the perfect start to our vacay!

View was great. Room was comfortable and spacious. Check in was slow. Elevator was broken. When I was given the room that hadn’t been cleaned I was not going to stand in a 10 person line again so I went to a lady who wasn’t helping anyone and she avoided even looking at me until I Said excuse me look at me please. Then the guy next to her was helpful and got me another room. Tried to call before going back to desk but they never answered phone.

Gentleman that checked me in with his hair in a ponytail was incredibly kind and accommodating. Traveling solo, I felt nervous about staying on the ground floor - he was able to put me in a room on a different floor and even had a view of the ocean! It was a small but super generous gesture I won't forget. Will definitely return. Thank you!

My room wasn’t ready for check in at 4 pm. I was told it would be ready shortly, but there was a long line and I would have to go back through the line to check in once it was ready. We waited through the line a second time and once I got my key it wasn’t activated so I had to go back thru the line a 3rd time. No apologies or nothing

We reserved a King and found our rugs were being cleaned so they upgraded us to a 1 bed apt. with a view of Haystack. It was lovely, queen bed was the downside but we managed. The room had everything we needed, refrig, microwave, dishwasher kitchen, living room. Excellent location to walk to the beach and all around town. I would definetly recommend this place.

The hotel is right on Cannon Beach, at the south end, which is actually more tranquil than the north end. Awesome location. Less amenities, but worth the tradeoff.

My husband and I stayed here for a 2 day getaway celebrating our 37th anniversary and also my husband’s 64th birthday.We were very impressed with the hospitality of the staff and the place itself. Right on the beach with a perfect view of Haystack Rock. Walking distance to a local seaside restaurant and there is a small grocery across the street.We will definitely be back!

The shower had a good amount of hot water, great view of the ocean, able to walk right on the beach, nice patio, decor of suite comfy and homey, well stocked with kitchen items, bathroom clean and done nicely, fireplace heated room well, having restaurant right next to it. Bed and sofa pull out bed comfortable.

The resort sits right on the ocean and next door to MO’s restaurant. The beach is magnificent with talcum like sand and views of Haystack. Campfires are allowed on the beach, and you can easily sit and watch the people, bikes and kites flying along the beach. It is busy! We only stayed one night. The rooms were pleasant and comfortable. I would stay again

Great view, very efficient checkin. Right on the beach. My room had a full kitchen and a propane fireplace. Nice little grocery store right across st. Decent no frills restaurant next door. Really great little pub a block away. A 15 minute walk up the beach to haystack rock. A 5 minute drive into cannon beach shops.

Great view of Haystack Rock from our patio. Easy beach access. Grocery store across the street, and right off the highway exit. Front office staff was very accommodating. Requests for extra towels, etc., were handled quickly with a smile!
