Love the breakfast and salt water pool. Rooms were great and clean and overall a great hotel. I stayed with my kid and between breakfast, the gym and the pool, everything was awesome. Great place to stay.

The front of the hotel is partly blocked by scaffolding. The lobby floor is half missing and under construction. According to staff they have been working on the hotel for over 7 months.

Nice hotel. Under renovation and waiting for parts to arrive to complete the work. A little chaotic but staff handled the temporary reality with ease. Breakfast was nothing special, but had a number of choices often found in these type of hotels. The outdoor pool was all ours for 30-60 minutes. The water was great, WARM, and clean! Loved it. Would we go back again? Yes, I want to see the hotel when all upgrades are finished. oh, and our bathroom was in great condition!

We walked into this place and noticed how clean it was. Even though they were going through renovations, things were organized. The room was very clean. The morning breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful. Would stay out again We paid $110 for this room and felt like it was a bargain

The hotel is currently going through renovations (didn't bother our stay) so everything is brand new the rooms (we had two) are completely up to date. We had plenty of hot water, beds were comfortable, the only downfall is there is dust in the main hallway due to the renovations. They are currently working on new tile flooring and closing off sections of the floor as they put new down and they have some cabinets in rooms that obviously need to be installed and redone. The front desk was very very friendly. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast: waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurt, eggs, bread, sausage, biscuits and gravy with coffee and juices. Hotel was conveniently located. I would stay here again.

The whole first floor hallway smells like dogs. We reserved 4rms. 3/4 smelled decent. 1 smelled like the dogs of a thousand years had used it as their fire hydrant. The SMELL woke me up in the night multiple times. Unfortunately there were no vacancies elsewhere or I would have gone somewhere else. Attendant was nice but couldn’t help. Parking is also minimal.

Just not clean. Carpets, flooring, tub, bathroom molding...all were visibly dirty. We come to Chambersburg for overnight stays frequently. This is our first time staying here. There are multiple options within minutes that may be a few dollars more, but knowing that you are staying somewhere that is clean is worth an extra $20.

Disappointed Despite the Renovations The hotel was renovated very nicely, and at first glance, it looked promising. However, the cleanliness was extremely disappointing. The bathroom curtain looked like it hadn’t been changed or cleaned in weeks. The bedsheets, pillows, and pillowcases were dingy and visibly dirty. When I lifted the sheets, there was a large yellow stain absolutely unacceptable and unsanitary. It’s disturbing to think someone is expected to sleep in someone else’s bodily fluids. The headboard was also dusty. This hotel could be a 10 out of 10 if they simply cleaned properly. As for the breakfast I didn’t even bother. If the room was that dirty, I wasn’t about to trust the cleanliness of the food. Would I stay here again? Not unless they seriously improve their cleaning standards.

This hotel was so loud. Each door slams every time you close it. Our neighbors got home at 10:30, the slamming doors woke us up, we could hear their entire conversations and the tv thru the wall. We had a long drive the next day. Being up past midnight was not part of the plan. Would not recommend staying there. Plenty of hotels in the area to choose from.

I would really like notification of franchised operations. I have stayed in a few of these this year, and somehow, people rate them much higher than they should be. For example, the shower in this hotel was abysmal. It barely worked due to a plumbing issue. I could only get a trickle out of the shower head. The room itself was tacky and rather dismal. I don't think they light the rooms well, so you don't see the fact that the decor hasn't been updated since the 1960s.

Recently remodeled and looked great. Clean and staff very friendly. Walls are very thin and street traffic is noisy: we were on the front of the building - perhaps another room would’ve been quieter.

Property is currently under renovation but the work did not impact our stay. Breakfast was typical and good. A better fresh fruit selection would improve the quality of the breakfast offering. Staff was friendly and attentive. The lightbulbs in the room were not to our liking. They use the 'daylight' style of bulb in ALL fixtures which we find irritating. We prefer the soft white bulbs that are less blue than the daylight bulb. If you look over the coffee machine in the breakfast area you will notice the difference between the light there and the others in the breakfast nook.

Reported to person at desk there was loud guests in next room . This was a round 7pm. That night nothing changed and had to listen to loud tv or music until past 2am. Dont plan to stay there in the future.

It’s good value for the price with a very low pet deposit ($15). Staff were great. Clean, safe. It is very near the interstate. Did not bother me as it served as grey noise but could definitely be heard. Lots of contractors so you’re going to hear them coming and going at odd hours.

Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast helper. BW has carts that make it especially easy to bring in your luggage, etc. They have good room rates, good breakfast, easy parking, restaurants are close by and walkable.
