I’ve stayed at this hotel two years in a row, took a break after a bad experience, and returned this year hoping things had improved. We booked over 8 rooms as a group — and deeply regret it. There was a 9-hour power outage, during which guests were locked out of their rooms for hours. When I approached the front desk about compensation, I was rudely told it wasn’t the hotel’s responsibility — even though other guests confirmed they were credited for the night. Completely inconsistent and unacceptable. On another night, there was a violent domestic disturbance that went on for hours. Police had to be called. Despite reporting it right away, hotel staff offered no support, no safety communication, and no follow-up. Zero accountability for the safety and comfort of guests. Given the size of our group, we expected better. Instead, we were dismissed and treated as though we were an inconvenience. This hotel does not value guest experience or group loyalty. The only positives were the housekeeping staff, who worked incredibly hard and were always kind, and Latoya at the front desk, who was professional and helpful — a stark contrast to the rest of the management team. We won’t be returning. If you’re planning a group stay, think twice

We stayed for 3 nights at this property. There were things for microwavable tea, but no coffee. I have never stayed at a hotel that doesn't offer coffee in the lobby for guests. Instead you must pay $3.00 in the restaurant/bar. The restaurant/bar closes very early even on Saturday night on Memorial weekend and there is nowhere close to get a cocktail after a long day. The night we did get there before closing to order a drink, the bartender was very put out as she was closing in 20 minutes, so she made it to go as she couldn't be bothered by customers. When we left for the day, we asked for more towels (only 2 in the room) and for our bed to be made. Neither of those happened so at days end I had to go to front desk where I had to wait while she did paperwork and stated "Well, I will have to go in back when I get a minute" Poor service overall except for the lovely lady that worked in the restaurant the first night we arrived on Thursday. She was friendly, funny and very helpful with finding out about places to go in Philadelphia. She was the highlight of the entire hotel. On our last night, there was some kind of celebration going on. There was NO parking left for guests. We had to make up a spot near a fence and pray we didn't get towed. We asked the front desk about it and told her where we parked and if it would be ok. Her response was "I guess". Overall, I would not return

Rooms could have been cleaner. Found hair in bed, sink and tub walls. it wasn't mines. Front desk was ok the lady at checkin was very helpful. Bar-meh ran out of certain items on the menu, kind of slow not to be busy. Your site stated there was a pool there is no pool. Best part free parking

Here's a short and professional version of your message: --- We chose this hotel based on the advertised 24-hour airport shuttle, but despite calling multiple times, no service was provided and we had to arrange our own transport and after arrival at the hotel I realized they were ignoring the customers calls in the front desk. Upon arrival, we also found a dead snake on the ground-level roof visible from our balcony, which was unsettling. Photos are available if needed. Rest everything was fine. Thank you.

Hotel was old and worn. Lobby was nice but everything else was dated. Not the nicest area but fairly close to the airport. Shuttle took way too long almost an hour. Every other shuttle had multiple units.

This property offers a pool and it is cemented up. Nothing on the site says the pool is inoperable. My room had ants. In the bathroom, on the table, on the bed. Red Fire restaurant food was great. Although the were about 3-4 ppl working, only one was tending to costumers. I even saw a group of people leave out after being seated.

The pictures on the website made The Clarion Hotel look beautiful! However, this was not the case. The elevators were dirty. The room was old, dirty, and had a musty smell. There was a bug in our room. It looked like a dilapidated, run-down place, and my Mom and I were highly disappointed. This hotel was disgusting!

Hallways smelled and my room had bugs in the bathroom like spiders so I was scared to sleep in a bed I had to check it first. I didn't have a remote control I didn't say anything because it was last minute really late and. I had a coffee machine but no coffee to make some. A friend of mine stayed also at a different room she had the same problem but at least I had hot water she didn't.

Upon entering the room i discovered the balcony door is unlocked. The toilet was made for a toddler. The carpet was really gross and moved when you walked on it. There is usually a comfortable chair in most hotels I've stayed in. This did not. It had two chairs that looked like they were from someone's kitchen. The bed was the worst bed I've ever used in my life. It felt like a bunch of cardboard boxes. There was music from the bar so loud it was bumping in my room on the 3rd floor. Run from this place.

The front desk was polite and professional, that's where it stops. The bar/restaurant closed at 10 even though the website and door say 1 am. This was one reason we went to this hotel. We got to the room and were welcomed to stained floors, hair in the sinks, tub and bathroom floor (the short and curly kind) alongwith a dirty toilet. The bathroom sink was completely clogged. We were only there a short time and went to a concert. On the way out, I informed the front desk about the issues and they said it would be taken care of. They asked permission to go in to the room with us gone and I told them that they could. We got back and the messes were still there along with the still standing water in the sink. The bed was awful, the heater/AC unit stunk when I turned it on. The only good part was the balcony because I could escape the room for a few minutes. I didn't know there would have been an option for photos or I would have gladly shared for everyone to see.

I booked here after a flight cancellation. The staff were super pleasant and the facilities, although outdated, seemed kept up with. My first complaint would be about the beds. My son and I shared a room with 2 queens. I gave him the mattress that seemed decent enough, but the bed I slept in was like a piece of plywood with a 1/2 inch pad. It was the only time I've removed a fitted sheet to make sure it was in fact a mattress under it. My biggest complaint comes in the form of an event that was being hosted at the hotel. From my understanding it was a very LARGE family reunion that featured a DJ. I don't know if they could have turned the volume up louder than they had it. The TV in our room was hard to hear over the music playing several floors below us and the entire room was vibrating. I believe they finally cut it at 11pm. I understand this probably isn't an everyday occurence, but it seemed ridiculous to me that the music was allowed to be held at that level.

There was only one front desk clerk, and there was a line for check-in. I was given a room that had not been cleaned, with an unmade bed, damp towels on the floor, and an overflowing waste basket. I called the front desk to complain and was put on hold for a very long time.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The airport shuttle never picked me up. The front desk staff when I arrived were threatening to quit, there weren’t enough rooms available for the people who had booked rooms, and one customer actually went to his room which was already occupied and had to come back downstairs to tell them. When I got to my room, the sheets and pillows were on the floor. I knew that they didn’t have any other room to give me so I just asked for new sheets, which they gave me, but I still slept without a comforter. The next morning I had to fight with management for them to comp my breakfast. Never again.

The worst service I have experienced in 55 years of traveling around the world. The word service does not exist in this place! ‘Oh, you have a problem, I don’t give a rat’s ass’ is the impression you get from the staff and the manager is the worst culprit of all! The front desk staff was rude to start with. Rooms are outdated, needs complete make over for the price they charge.Bed and pillows are awful.There was no towels in the room. When asked, Surprised by the rude behavior of the house keeping. Not able to reach the front desk or the house keeping from the room. They treat you like as if we are staying for free. I have travelled a lot and stayed in many places. This hotel was the worst in my 30 yrs of experience. Expedia should take the hotel off of their list.

This place was a great stopping point in our travels. The front desk was amazing and helped answer all the questions we had. The room was basic but perfect for resting up before a plane ride. There is a shuttle that takes you right to the airport and comes every 30 minutes. It’s a nice spot and did the job. I’d stay there again if I wanted to be close to the airport but it is far out of the city limits.

I thought the property even though older building was very clean and staff excellent. We had shuttle from airport to hotel and was able to get our room right away. Close to some restaurants and the casino a short drive away. Would stay there again.

Our stay was great, we needed somewhere close to the airport and this worked out great. On a side note, the staff was very kind and very helpful. My son forgot his headphones in the room and after talking with the staff on the phone they found the headphones and we were able to get them shipped to us. They were very kind and helpful through the whole process. Thanks for the great stay!

I was told the night before that Breakfast time on Tuesday was from 6:00 am to 10:00am. I was at the restaurant door at 9:45 and the host at the front told me they will not accept any more orders. We couldn’t even get into the restaurant for a coffee. I think they need to change the time from 6:00 to 9:30, to be able to serve the guests that goes there until 9:30 am in that way they can work until 10:00 with no complaints. This way nobody will feel what I felt , no appreciated. Honestly, this made my entire experience a little bad because I left the property with that bitter taste, to find another restaurant before going back to my town.

Staff were very friendly & helpful!! Bar/Restaurant Manager needs to stay on top of inventory. The bar ran out of diet coke on a Saturday evening and there was still none the following Saturday evening. Food was good.
