Nice hotel walking distance to shopping and restaurants in downtown of quaint Beaufort SC. We were a little frustrated that the TV didn't work properly, which the hotel staff blamed on the cable provider. Also, a bit surprising that the hotel charges $10 for parking when there is ample parking adjacent to the hotel.

The stay at this hotel was pleasant and its surroundings were very beautiful and very peaceful The breakfast was not very varied but acceptable .It also doesn't have an elevator, so I had to climb the stairs with my belongings ,which was very uncomfortable.

Ideal location across from waterfront, shopping and dining. Included breakfast is convenient, decent selections. No elevator but with only 2 floors not really an issue unless traveling with elderly or lots of luggage or gear. They have a manual lift if needed. Very clean property and rooms. Attentive staff when needed.

While this is an older-style property (with no elevator), it was clean and quiet and at an amazing location. Just a couple blocks from the waterfront park and downtown with several dining options. I’d definitely stay here again!

My last stay 6 weeks ago was so great and I had to come back and let a friend experience it. Top notch staff and service. The location is perfect for strolling the streets of Beaufort. The pool was clean and a great temperature to enjoy a relaxing evening after a HOT day touristing. Shelly does an amazing job with breakfast. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Beaufort.

The hotel was clean and check in was quick. Staff was very friendly. The room was a little musty but got better after running the heat. Toilet was very loud when you flushed causing you to wake up anyone in the room if you flushed during the night. Besides that everything was great.

We DO NOT recommend. I appreciated the convenience of the location. Parking was an additional $10 and was a challenge with tight spaces and most were parallel spaces. We checked late at 1130 pm. Great staff member! We requested a late check out for 1200, which was accomodated. At 1130 the hotel guest services barged in our room after an abrupt knock and no wait for response. 1 min later the phone rang amd Savannah, at the front desk called to ask why we weren\'t checked out. After explaining we requested a late check out, she said, "We dont do late check outs! Well, it\'s already 1130, so I cant kick you out now!" I told her I felt as if we were being harassed and she interupted me in a hostile way and said, "No, dont do that! You\'re not being harassed!" I then went to the office to get a receipt for my parking and explained her unprofessionalism. She apologized and gave us 2 free water bottles and a parking refund. Our room faced a brick wall and was soffocating and dark. The room was meh and felt humid. WE HAD A ROACH ON THE PILLOW and my daughter refused to sleep in that bed. We crammed on 1 queen after looking for other bugs for 45 minutes. NOT WORTH $160 A NIGHT.

This is an incredibly well run establishment. Very clean. All staff were great to deal with and they all took pride in keeping the place spotless. Conveniently located in walking distance to the town and a lovely walk along the waterfront. Highly recommend

The location of this motel is convenient and includes a decent breakfast. However the rooms are damp even with the additional dehumidifier. There were lots of long black hairs in the bathroom and on the Countertops. Not as clean as one would expect, especially not at that price.

The hotel is perfectly located on Bay Street to be able to walk to everything. Our room faced a back street with beautiful old homes. The room and the bathroom were very clean and roomy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and made goid suggestions for dining. Other members of the staff were friendly. And the free breakfast Wonderful!! Real eggs, fresh baked pastries, hot and very good. The best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel.

The lady whom checked us in was right rude & harsh about nothing really, just a very snappy attitude. Katrina was definitely amazing ( her smile and personality was the most welcoming. As far as the hotel it was clean ish but the bathroom definitely had lots of hair that wasn't cleaned from before we got there, definitely wasn't happy about that

Very nice spot right in the heart of Beaufort. Walkable to all of the downtown spots (cafe's, marina, shops). Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was impressive with good choices. The room was on the smaller side, accurate and as advertised but still smaller than most hotel rooms (queen bed and desk/chair, no room for other seating like a sofa or easy chair). Great value for the price in an area of many boutique spots.

This was such a unique and quaint hotel! It’s an older building but the rooms have been remodeled wonderfully and everything is very up to date. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

Another very comfortable stay at the Sea Island Inn. The staff are friendly and helpful. Being close to the historic centre of Beaufort it is a very short walk indead (5minutes max) to restaurants, facilities, artisan shops, etc. Our 4th visit, which we use on our annual pilgramage to USA and travelling between Florida and the north. Wiil be back.

Check in was a breeze. Staff were very friendly. Large, very comfortable rooms. Shower has 2 heads, one hand held. Freshest smelling linens I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. Very nice breakfast area. Perfect location. Within walking distance to the marina, shops, swings and restaurants in Beaufort. Highly recommended !

Our stay at the Best Western in Beaufort was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was outstanding, walk or bike to everything. The neighborhood was quiet. The service was exceptional, everyone was so friendly. The breakfasts were delicious, Bobbie was one of a kind. We used the bikes to ride around town and on the Spanish Moss Trail. The pool was a little chilly but our son enjoyed it. We even had a bit of water view from our window. We would definitely stay there again.

This is the best hotel if you want to be right next to downtown shopping in the historic district. You literally walk out of your door and walk a few feet and you are on main street. You also eat breakfast while looking out at the most beautiful view of the park and the water. Just a great hotel for access!

The perfect location for anyone wanting to soak up the scene in Beaufort’s historic downtown. Easy walking distance to dozens of stores, cafes, restaurants and bars. Mr. Buddy and the rest of the staff were amazing. The location is convenient and in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and other city attractions. The breakfast selection was delicious and different each day we were there, which I appreciated. There was the traditional continental breakfast plus 'hot' options like waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. Bring a little cash to tip because the staff is great! The only odd thing was that the toilet in the hotel room was like one you'd find in a public restroom, with no tank on the back. Again, a little odd, but nothing that would keep me away next time I'm in the area.

I didn't like the fact that you need to pay to park, which the website does not mention Also the breakfast we could not be there for cause we had to leave early and were told there would be fresh fruits and muffins , but there were only a couple apples and 1 muffin.
