The staff was amazing!!!! Unfortunately the hot tub was broken and we wish it was working

The shower dripped the room smelt like mildew and had a water damage spot around fire sprinkler refrigerator was barely cold pool was freezing and whrilpool was barely as warm as a baby's bath but the desk staff were wonderful very helpful always greeted us with a smile she was the best part of your hotel also no ice in hotel

Hot tub was broken, bugs, elevator was down on Sunday at check out time, beds weren’t comfortable. Cards never worked, internet didn’t work. Front desk was friendly.

Property is older and pretty run down carpets in the room were dirty. AC was out on main floor for 2 days. But people working there are great.

Pool not accessible

The property was what I expected for the price point. It was clean and had nice big towels. It was also quiet. The ice machine does not work on the third floor and there isn’t an ice machine on the second floor. The staff were all professional and polite.

Overall it was well about the only thing I didn’t like was the parking was very tight and I had to call to get new towels,when I thought that house keeping would come in the room every day since we didn’t have a do not disturb card to hang on the door ,all the stuff was nice when you talked to them .

The hotel stunk like cat urine. Stains on the blankets and a stench from the mattress. Pool was not heated. There were rowdy/rude guests at the pool. Gym was laughable. All ice machines were broken. Just, No.

Check was easy, but after that service was terrible. Pool was closed after someone took a poop in the jacuzzi and no one was notified until the next day

Pros: -convenient to Parris Island about 20mins with traffic. -staff was nice -off highway so it's quiet Cons: -smells musty/mildew -room smelt horrible between paint/mildew -bags over smoke detectors -first floor men's restroom door doesn't close -elevator sounds like its going to break -stray cats outside -small parking lot

Needs major updating. Air conditioners leaking water into the carpet, smell of mold and mildew in the rooms and hallways, carpet torn and stained, beds uncomfortable, employee got mine and another persons rooms mixed up so I got charged for theirs and mine and have yet to get reimbursed. Stay away from this place!!

We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the last 8 years. It used to be very nice and good quality for the money but has gone downhill a ton Hotel was humid in hallways, tons of trash. The first room we were put in the tub was falling apart and had German cockroaches in it. We switched to a new room that was a bit better but the mattresses and pillows were not great. I don’t typically write reviews but there are better cleaner hotel options in the area in the same price range.

Used towel was still in shower. Bed had spots on outer blanket. When checking out the man was unfriendly. I wish I was making this up but we ended up leaving a day early.

This hotel has bed bugs. The staff knows it and does nothing.

This is by far the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk is rude and inconsiderate. The first room we received smelled horribly like mildew and mold, there was a line of black mold in the shower along the tub, the carpet felt sticky and almost damp. The sheets were clearly not clean as there was dirt and hair on them. There were also suspicious stains on the couch and curtains. But the worst was the smell, after 2 hours of trying to sleep in this room I got a sore throat and my lungs felt like they were burning. I went to the front desk who seemed unphased and not concerned at all and proceeded to offer a new room, but that’s it. I woke my child and we went to the new room, the smell was less, but this room was equally disgusting. It literally looked like someone urinated on the bathroom ceiling. I also saw a roach behind the toilet. We ended up cancelling our second night stay we had planned to go elsewhere. I would not recommend this location to anyone and I honestly don’t know how this place is even open or meets health standards.

The staff were very polite and always working. However the room had mold around the tub and the ceiling. The room had a musty smell. But for the price it was not bad.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Even the elevator was filthy. There were hairs in the bed sheets & I’m pretty sure I got bit by bedbugs. I wanted to leave as soon as we saw the room but we had to be back on base in an hour and had to shower and change so there wasn’t time to find another room. That room was definitely the worst part of our trip and literally wanted to cry that we got stuck in such a dump. They also require a $150 incidental fee hold which they tell you about at check in. That’s more than most places and is odd since this hotel is really more of a roach motel. I didn’t see any roaches but I am sure they are there. There’s no way a place that gross doesn’t have roaches. The hallway on our floor smelled weird too. It was a thick, nasty, fishy odor. Do not stay here if you have ANY other in option!! They need to be shut down.

While the employees were very kind, the room and property lacked cleanliness! There was mold in our room, the bathtub finish was flaking off in many places, dirty hand towel in the bathroom, the rug was wet around the AC, the room smelled of mold, it wasn’t vacuumed, hallways were hot, the hot tub wasn’t working- a worker said he knew nothing about how to work it or fix it, the pool area is very unkept with dirty pool towels laying around- mind you there wasn’t a single person in the pool area when we were there! So those towels weren’t picked up from previous days! I can’t say it enough, there has to be mold there! My whole family was getting sick just from a night there!

The hotel hallways and rooms smelled TERRIBLE!!!! Couches in the rooms were dirty/covered in stains. Place just seems old and outdated.

No one was at front desk when we arrived so I had to call the front desk and I was told he was in the bathroom. I stood at the desk for 10 minutes before calling the Hotel and was listening to these people chat away in the back before calling on the phone to get someone to come out to greet me and to try and check in early and then he wasn't very friendly about anything Bathroom in room was dirty and looks like mold is growing around the tub. A bug that looked like a roach to me on the bathroom floor too Sheets were dirty and had to be change - Hairs on them and gritty like sand plus some kind of bug and they made us come to the desk to grab the new bedding Not a good experience

Hotel was in a close location to the MCRD in Parris Island. Beds were a little firm and pillows were not comfortable but overall it was a nice stay. Staff very friendly and accommodating and the room was nice and clean.

I enjoyed a good rate per night, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The carpet was wet (I assume they had shampooed it) and the pull-out sofa bed was extremely worn out; we chose not to use it.

This hotel is in pretty rough condition. Lots of things are in disrepair. There was a hole in our ceiling where the fire alarm is installed. The mattresses were very rough and sank into the middle. Staff were friendly and helpful but the place is in rough shape.

Everything was great except a little noise from the neighbors.

There was a big gap under door and we could hear everything. We could also hear neighbors upstairs and next door

Overall the hotel was nice. Some furniture was showing wear and tear. Some of the repairs work done over time was desiring better workmanship. Beds were nice. A little noisy from the airbase near by,but did end before 9pm. Would stay again.

Staff and service was excellent but there was a wet carpet moldy smell throughout and the beds were very old and very uncomfortable! This facility needs a face lift! New carpet/ flooring and bedding including a sleeper sofa all need replaced!

The check in was very easy, the lady was pretty rude. The first night later shift lady and man were phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that I had to take my own garbage and remove it from the room, as well as had to hunt down the housekeepers to be able to get additional towels. We were there from Tuesday until checkout Saturday and not once did anyone come freshen up the towels or remove the trash. For sure needed a good cleaning as under the beds had garbage as well and it hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom door was also damaged, still worked but for sure needs a little bit of tlc

Problem with management with service animal

The hotel was totally unsatisfactory. We had blood stained sheets. We asked for new sheets and comforter and never got them for a 4 day stay. we never received room cleaning or new towels. we asked for service but only got lip service. would not go back. I sent a message off to corporate and never got a response.

We where there to visit my son. The hotel was under construction. The elevator broke while we where there. No one ever came to clean our room or restock our towles.

The first lady I talked too was quite rude when i came in early to ask what the earliest check in time was....she said earliest is 130 to check then like she had no desire to be there or deal with patrons. Arrived back at 150 pm and was met with the same rudeness...was tild there was a 150 deposit which i didnt see first so i said can u show me where it states that....that was a big problem to the point where after 5 minutes of asking to see and her finally slamming the computer screen on the counter i asked if she was having a bad day and straight up said she was being a snob and for that we had to wait till 3 no worries thats fine....roo. was 130 deposit 150....no baseboards in room. Tub was repaired but looked dirty bc of the chips and repairs. Blowdryer was broken as well. But the staff after 3 through the stay was great and helpful...

Nice staff good location to Parris island

The location was perfect for the Marine Bootcamp graduation! It only took approximately 10 minutes to get to MCRD. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was good the day we were there to eat at 6:30 a.m. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The property was close to Parris Island for military graduation. Bed was ok, needs new mattress. Bathroom left a little to be desired - could use caulk around tub, clean up paint spots on the floor. Couldn't take shower, the tub didn't drain, the water was ice cold - no hot water... the water in sink faucet was fine. The staff was friendly enough, but I really didn't interact with them that much.

My recent stay at Comfort Suites was truly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations in several ways. Firstly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. From check-in to check-out, everyone I encountered was courteous and eager to assist with any requests or questions I had. The customer service truly stood out. Secondly, the room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. The amenities in the room were also great, including a coffee maker, mini-fridge, and microwave, which added convenience to my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, from hot items like eggs and sausage to cereals, pastries, and fresh fruit. It was a pleasant surprise to have such a selection included in the stay. Lastly, the location was convenient for my needs, with easy access to my son's graduation from Marine Bootcamp and restaurants. Located on a quiet side street. Peaceful. Lovely facility. Accommodating to early departee’s going to morning Marine graduation.

Lobby, hallways and elevator was humid and hot. Check in was at 3, I did not get my room until 3:45 pm. My room was not fully stocked with toilet paper I had one open roll and no extras. I had no shower curtain. Complimentary breakfast was good and fresh. Customer service was not very good at the front desk. I will not stay here again.

The breakfast was very good. However started to late for Parris Island events. It was clean and nice.

Filthy. Mattresses were awful. Floors felt dirty. The bathroom was not clean. Hot water could burn your skin off. Gaps so big under the doors we did not feel safe. People congregating in the parking lot. Cigarette butt’s everywhere. Breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Kids had fun in the lukewarm pool and hot hottub. Precious guests left a note for us to find saying that don’t clean the rooms and they farted on all the pillows. Found this note in the sofa bed. Which was also awfully uncomfortable almost unbearable. Oh! Abe every single noise your neighbors make on every side of you- you can hear like the walls are paper.

We had a wonderful time there. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Enjoy the property esp with the pool, children loves it. The new egg recipe for breakfast was fantastic. Overall , we had a great time!
