It’s not in the best section of town. Lots of possible druggies and homeless folks. As your going to your car they are coming up to you asking for cigarettes and things. Room was clean and comfy. Water leaking from the ceiling into a bucket in the hallway. No coffee or cups in the room. Coffee maker worked. Sort of.

I was just looking for a place to sleep while on a road trip so I wasn't wanting to spend much. Red Roof Plus in Chattanooga was far better than other places I've paid the same for. If you're looking for breakfast you won't find it here and the coffee was barely drinkable, but I would stay here again if I drive through Chattanooga on another road trip.

Elevator broken. Ice machine broken. Near highway so noise during night. No fan option to block sound. Room nice though some maintenance needed. Tv, internet worked.

Decent little spot. Parking lot was well lit. Most of the bathrooms and vending machines were out of order and although there was a breakfast bar, there was no breakfast. The bed was similar to sleeping on a wooden plank but it was clean.

Their printer was out, so no receipt, but i was promised to receive one by e/m. They sent an e/m, but the "receipt" didn't include the price, so i can't use for company reimbursement. After 1 week, still no receipt. Otherwise, the room was OK, but i'll mention the bathroom sink was too tall for kids, and rather narrow, so had to lean over to avoid splashing outside the basin.

There is nothing to like about this facility. Our room was booked for a doubled bed with kitchen, with complimentary snacks. Received a FILTHY room with double bed and only microwave and mini fridge. Dresser was broken, the drawers were off track and lospided. The coffee table had an entire corner broken off with jagged edges. The a/c did not work. Dirt and grime in every corner. Crumbs on the counters. mildew hair in the bathroom. Peeling paint. Husband complained about the room not being what we reserved and the owners had the audacity tonm say our room was an "UPGRADE" from what was originally reserved! They moved us to a room right beside the previous room. A/c barely functional. By that time we were just so tired of traveling, we needed to rest. We had no luck finding anything else available in our budget for the 4th of July. Second room was Just as dirty as the first room. No broken furniture, but broken glass in the framed picture on the wall. Bathroom still has mildew and possible feces smeared on the wall but did not see it until the next morning. Hallways are nasty and need to be vacuumed. Trash and sticky floor in elevator. Lobby set up like there should be a light breakfast but nothing was available at 8 a.m. on a Friday morning. External areas did not feel safe or inviting. There is no decent view of Lookout Mountaint or downtown Chattanooga. Red Roof Plus?? There is no "plus" to this establishment. Only negative. Spend your money elsewhere.

It was really dirty in the room, and there was stains on the pillows. It was also dirty in the stairway (because the second floor button was broken in the elevator we had to walk up the stairs which was fine but it was dirty in the stairway). The lady was nice and apologetic about everything so that was a plus. But we went and returned our room keys and went to another hotel.

This property is located in area that is unsafe, homeless people are walking around during the night, the rear door of the building is unsecure. There was a lady that checked in ahead of me, 5 minutes later she came back and told the Front Desk, that there were roaches in her Room. There were dirty towels in the hall way by several of the doors. the baseboard along the walls were separating, walls scarred up, thin bedding, old televisons, just deplorable.

We stayed for 3 nights. Never got clean towels or bed changed. My daughters room had roaches so she left a day early. Our shower had mold. Furniture was chewed. Ice machine didn’t work. Ac unit didn't work. Motel 6 across the street had a fight where they were threatening to shoot each other outside and one came over to red roof to argue. A drug deal went on in the main hall way. A woman mistook our family as one of her dealers and followed us to our cars. We were supposed to get upgraded bedding and snacks for our booking. We didnt.

The room we reserved looked like the picture except VERY dirty and nasty. The fridge didn't work, microwave didn't turn so the food burned, had food on the ground by the heat/AC unit, AC turned off halfway through the night, the small part of carpet was filthy and not vacuumed, only one trash can in the entire room, one of the light plugs was broken off and pushed inside the appliance, the fire alarm was hanging off the wall, the bathroom light was hanging out of the ceiling, the TV controller was taped together and we could only get it to change to one channel, the shower curtain had two huge purple stains, the corners and grout in the shower were covered in mold and there was a big line of *something* on the back wall of the shower. We did leave a note with all of these things in case some of these were overlooked. The ONLY reason we stayed the night was because we were in town for our family in the CCU and were beyond exhausted by the time we got checked in. I wouldn't really recommend staying here if you have any other options.

Good price. Friendly staff. Dirty linens. I had the sheets changed because of spots and the changed sheets had more spots. The staff mentioned that the washer might be the problem. I think that would be a major problem that needs fixing right away in an inn... This is the first time I felt dirtier after a shower because of the dirty towels...

The hotel room was very filthy. I was originally scheduled to stay two nights but checked out immediately the next morning due to the cleanliness of the room and the overall up keep up the property. There was blood And urine splatter on the door and wall in the bathroom.

The hotel smelled unclean. My room had not been vacuumed and the tub and sink were dirty. The door did not light up for the card key (it did unlock) and the door did not close all the way without effort. The room smelled as bad as the rest of the building. The bathroom looked like nothing had been cleaned. I have video and pictures of the filth.There was black mold on the floor. The faucets were covered with grimy film. There were brown dribbles going down the bathroom door. You can see the stains on the wall and the sofa. There were water stains on the ceilings all over the hotel and there was a nasty film of dirt on the elevator walls and dirt in corners all around. I ended up leaving and going to the Comfort Inn. I went back to Red Roof and asked for my money back. The desk clerk refused to refund my money. They refunded half of it later, but said that I owed them the first night due to a 24-hour cancellation policy. I countered by telling them that the reason I left was that the room did not feel safe or clean--it was not what I paid for. I submitted a claim to corporate Red Roof. They told me that because I had spent two hours in the room, which is a bald-faced lie. I went back long enough to check out, ask for my money back, and move to the Comfort Inn across the street. Even with my pictures and the credit card statement showing that I checked in to the Comfort Inn shortly the same day, corporate refused to refund the other half of my money. DO NOT deal with Red Roof.

I checked in went to my room then immediately checked out! This place was absolutely disgusting! The lamp in the room had rust on it. There was dirt and piled in the corner hear the air conditioner. There were what appeared to be water stains on the walls. The bed linens were stained. The font desk staffed seemed to be shocked when I told him the state of the room. There's no way they didn't know .

Fireworks being shot from lobby entrance by guests which came close to hitting cars. Bathroom tub grout was brown and disgusting. Mold around tub caulking. Sink paint chipped on wall. Behind door never cleaned. Things appeared to never be wiped down including walls. Bed covers stained. Hallways didn't appear vacuumed. On side note the beds were comfortable and we stayed but never bathed in bathroom.

Room was unfortunate....peeling paint in the bathroom, emergency evacuate instructions fell off the door, saw cockroaches in the room, and floor was not clean. Could see and feel little bits of trash on the ground. Looks like one towel was used and not replaced. Ive stayed at Red Roof inns in the past which were much better than this but I may never stay in one again after this experience.

Hotel staff cancelled my reservation at 9:25pm while we were driving down because we hadn’t arrived yet. That is absurd and hardly a ‘late arrival’. I had to call and have it reinstated. WHen we got there, while walking to our room, we noticed that the first floor restrooms are broken. The elevator buttons don’t work well. The hardware for part of our hotel room door was missing. In our room, the microwave was broken as was the lamp and refrigerator. Only given one trash can so restroom shared with food waste. Paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom. Two towels for a family of four. The water wouldn’t drain in the sink or shower/bathroom tub for like 15 minutes after each use. There was no liner for the ice bucket and it was wet. One of the beds bows in from overuse and was terribly uncomfortable. Those are the things the hotel could have done better. Perhaps out of their control but still germane to the traveler, the walls are paper thin. We heard every conversation, music, etc.. from our neighbors. In the morning I shared our experience with the gentleman at the front desk. He was kind and sympathetic. I told him I felt we deserved a partial refund, particularly because the food we planned to refrigerate went bad. He gave us $0 refund. I will not recommend this hotel to others.

It seems we spent some money updating the outside of the property and none on the inside. Paint peeling off the walls and the bed seems to be 20 plus years old based on how broke down the mattress was. I understand the value side of it as well. Would be nice to update the mattresses.

The beds were great. The service was good. Pillows were meh-to-bad. AC worked but everything remained relentlessly overly humid. The hotel lobby & halls literally smelled terrible. It was however, relatively inexpensive.

Pros: Check in was quick and easy. The bed was comfortable with plenty of covers. The shower was hot. The heating and air worked very well. It opened to the inside. The property was well lit at night. Cons: Somewhat questionable neighborhood. We had a homeless person ask for money, when we walked our dog. The bathroom was very small. The hall was dirty. We were passing through and would stay again if we needed to.

We have stayed here before and we were as pleased this time as times before. The staff was very helpful and courteous they have always been very polite. This time we had a problem with the air conditioner and Danny the maintinance fixed it and cleaned up all of the water in the middle of the night so that we didn't have to change rooms. All in all just another great stay .

I ASKED FOR A REFUND THE LADY SAID NO!She gave me the room 215 the room was disgusting bedbug on the bed, body print on the bed, counters dirty , door handle was dirty! Entire 1st& 2nd floor smelled like meth and weed. People hanging out in the hallways, outside when you pull up. When asked if I could be accommodated to another red roof she told me NO! Mind you I seen about 4 on the highway not far from each other. I WILL BE ER CHOOSE RED IN OR ROOF AGAIN! And I want my money back. Oh yea I was offered room 114 that room was just as nasty! I ended up paying $147 at LaQuinta downtown and LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STAY!!

The woman working the front desk was the only good thing about this hotel. It was dirty, the tub wouldn’t drain, the sheets seemed dirty, nothing was wiped down. Paid for the room with premium bedding and it was arguably the worst hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. The area was sketchy, there were a lot of people loitering the hallways and outside the hotel. We slept with the ironing board wedged under the door handle. We did not feel safe.

I have stayed here previously so when i received great service it was not a surprise.I have stayed there to go to kidney treatments and they always take good care of me. It is quiet and calm they are building a new apartment complex across the street and you would never know it. The staff and managers are top notch you will not be treated better anywhere or have a more comfortable stay. I would recommend anyone to come relax at this hotel.

This hotel needs to be cleaned, painted and repaired in so many areas. There is no free breakfast as advertised, which I didn't really care about, but still...if you advertise it, have it. The "other" side of the bed had not be vacuumed in, ever. I will say, though, the AC was super cold. The area around the hotel seems unsafe and my husband saw some very dressed up "ladies" going out for the evening at 2:30 a.m. Probably going home. It served our purpose but I never walked barefoot on the floor the whole time, except in the shower. Give it some serious thought before booking.

Good staff, clean rooms had a towel hanger was afraid going to fall off. Wish they would bring back breakfast. I’m a trucker by profession so parking even a truck no trailer would be hard. Thank you for the room and wish you all well.

It’s not in the best section of town. Lots of possible druggies and homeless folks. As your going to your car they are coming up to you asking for cigarettes and things. Room was clean and comfy. Water leaking from the ceiling into a bucket in the hallway. No coffee or cups in the room. Coffee maker worked. Sort of.

I was just looking for a place to sleep while on a road trip so I wasn't wanting to spend much. Red Roof Plus in Chattanooga was far better than other places I've paid the same for. If you're looking for breakfast you won't find it here and the coffee was barely drinkable, but I would stay here again if I drive through Chattanooga on another road trip.

Decent little spot. Parking lot was well lit. Most of the bathrooms and vending machines were out of order and although there was a breakfast bar, there was no breakfast. The bed was similar to sleeping on a wooden plank but it was clean.

There is nothing to like about this facility. Our room was booked for a doubled bed with kitchen, with complimentary snacks. Received a FILTHY room with double bed and only microwave and mini fridge. Dresser was broken, the drawers were off track and lospided. The coffee table had an entire corner broken off with jagged edges. The a/c did not work. Dirt and grime in every corner. Crumbs on the counters. mildew hair in the bathroom. Peeling paint. Husband complained about the room not being what we reserved and the owners had the audacity tonm say our room was an "UPGRADE" from what was originally reserved! They moved us to a room right beside the previous room. A/c barely functional. By that time we were just so tired of traveling, we needed to rest. We had no luck finding anything else available in our budget for the 4th of July. Second room was Just as dirty as the first room. No broken furniture, but broken glass in the framed picture on the wall. Bathroom still has mildew and possible feces smeared on the wall but did not see it until the next morning. Hallways are nasty and need to be vacuumed. Trash and sticky floor in elevator. Lobby set up like there should be a light breakfast but nothing was available at 8 a.m. on a Friday morning. External areas did not feel safe or inviting. There is no decent view of Lookout Mountaint or downtown Chattanooga. Red Roof Plus?? There is no "plus" to this establishment. Only negative. Spend your money elsewhere.

We arrived at the hotel around midnight after a five‑hour drive, traveling with a sick cat who became even more ill due to the extreme heat inside the building. At check‑in, I was informed that the elevators were out of service and asked to walk to the third floor. Upon reaching the third floor, the temperature felt close to 90 degrees. The AC for the floor was off, and the room itself was even hotter. The smell of cigarettes was immediately noticeable. We turned on the AC, hoping the room would cool down. While preparing the bed for my son, I discovered the sheets were wet. When preparing my own bed, I found unusual stains. When I reported this to the front desk, the staff member stated that housekeeping continued using broken washing machines and that the stains were caused by them. We were provided only one thin sheet as a replacement. The room never cooled properly; only the area closest to the AC received any airflow. Between the heat, the odor, the condition of the bedding, and caring for a sick cat who worsened in the room’s climate, the stay was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable.

This place was awful! The first room they gave us was in the third floor and the elevator was out of order. No big deal except when we got to the room the floor was flooded from the air conditioner. Back down to the first floor to be put in a room that had dirty towels and someone’s drink cup in it! Woke up to water in the floor which made it slick. We grabbed our stuff and got out.
