The front desk staff was kind and helpful. That’s about the only nice thing I can say about the hotel, though. The pool was dirty, as were the carpet and the ceiling, the equipment in the gym was in disrepair, there was mold on a towel, and the bathroom drain was broken. They desperately need to remodel the whole place. The pictures on the website are very misleading.

Great location. Close to Walmart and numerous restaurants. 10/15 minutes from Aquarium and other sites. Not a lot of traffic. There was a bit of remodeling but nothing to interfere with the experience. NOTE: Door Card readers absolutely suck. Would take 5-10 times before the door would open even after the green light said it was good.

Nice room, comfortable bed with sufficient soap but not too much. The elevator was broken so we had to lug our bags up stairs and go in a back door. I thought the breakfast was good

Great location near everything! Rooms were good and spacious. Towels were nice and fluffy. They supply towels for the pool which some of the time were not available. The front desk was kind and helpful. Free breakfast was you got what you paid for and not my cup of tea but I'm sure others would enjoy it.

This hotel was disgusting. The rooms smelled of mold, the sheets and mattress were very soiled, the caulking was black with mold and all the furniture was ripped, torn and old. We walked in the rooms and left the hotel immediately

We arrived at the hotel to check in, the lady at the front desk was super nice and friendly. We went up to our room and could smell the must in the hallway, upon opening the door the room smelled so bad we couldn’t even walk in. We went and asked for a new room, upon walking into the room the smell was very strong once again but also to add to the smell the bathroom and bedroom were both covered in mold. The bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned, the AC did not work, and again the mold and smell were everywhere. 10/10 would not recommend staying here. If I could give negative stars then I would.

The hotel was dirty and our room had a series of problems: bed bugs, tv dangling off the wall, bathtub didn’t drain, toilet flushed loudly and aggressively, floors sounded hollow, and the lock wasn’t secure. Do NOT stay here. The only thing we liked was the kindness when we told them we were leaving immediately and their honesty for admitting a roach problem.

Old sheets and towels. We had some good towels but some towels were old with holes in them. Sheets were not clean. There were several hair pieces on the sheets along being on the bedspread. Bathroom sink was stopped up.

Room 124 had obvious extensive water damage that all looked like it had been painted over and nothing further. There was still a plastic bag taped to the smoke detector. Confidence inspiring to say the least. Parts of the wall were still water wrinkled and every piece of furniture was made of press board so it was swollen on areas where it touched the floor. The lampshade was rusted so much that at first I thought it was a fun marbled pattern until I turned the other one on and noticed the difference. Parts of the wall corners weren't fully joined together from the swelling. There were two obvious hand prints on the headboard.... No more details needed, it goes on in every hotel bed, we all try not to think about it, but please wipe the hand prints so I don't have mental souvenirs from someone else's good time. The bed was 4 separate pieces and felt like it would fall apart at any moment. It was a platform, 2 twin mattresses, some other mattress and a topper. The cobbled together bed set the tone for the rest of everything else. The shower worked but was not clean, the comforter cover had stains on it and the towels did as well. I had just left a music festival that got cancelled so we wanted to recharge in another city before we went home and I wish I had done more research before booking the hotel. Sadly I have stayed in worse hotels but for $120 a night this gets a big no from me.

The hallways smelled terrible, and the room even worse. We also opened the door to find it unbearably hot, as they had the air conditioning turned off. There was a HUGE stain on the caroet that im afraid to even ask what it was , blood or possibly dog feces?? The fire alarm was ripped off the wall, and the light in the bathroom was just a bare bulb. Lastly as we were leaving our room, the door would even seal shut. Stay away from here!

Do not use this property. The room smelled heavily of wet dog and mold. The carpet had stains, the supposedly white sheets looked like they were not washed (had dirt marks bed and on the pillow cases). There were holes in the bedding and the towels. The towels felt grimy. The room needed painting. The bathroom tile was moldy. The walkway leading to the property was littered with trash from an overflowing trash bin. The place was disgusting. The only good thing that was okay was the front desk clerk who moved us to another room without any issue because the first room smelled so bad.

This was the nastiest hotel I ever stayed in. We had to switch rooms because of the air conditioning breaking. Stains all over the hallway carpeting. My daughter’s room , she found s..t in the bedding. We had to have them change the sheets. A disgusting hotel! Can I have my money back please??? And our 1st room we walk in smelled of smoke. There was very loud road noise at tight on the side facing the street. The building had not been updated in some time, with worn/stained carpet in the hallways, chipped paint, etc. The room was more recently updated, but there were maintenance issues like a missing light bulb, and a sink that didn't drain. The breakfast (powdered eggs, sausage patties, etc.) was cold, even the coffee and tea. The staff I interacted with were very pleasant, and it was inexpensive, but I got what I paid for.

After unloading our luggage and getting our keys, we were over powered by the smell of weed! It was horrible! The receptionist stated we can’t find them! We will never stay at another Clarion location. The beds were hard. The sheets were not soft. The rooms were very poorly lit. The electrical outlets wouldn’t charge our phones unless the device was plugged in just right. We were in room 209.

The property was clean, however, it was Immensely loud. You could hear everything your surrounding neighbors were doing, and I mean everything, pee, coughing, sneezing, seggs, footsteps .The mattress was awful. We did not sleep but maybe an hour before calling it quits. I get for the price you expect some type of low quality, but I promise you, it isn't worth any amount of money to stay here. Pay a bit more for more comfort.

Pretty nice hotel overall. Check-in was easy and the agent that checked us in was very nice and attentive. The location is nice. There's a Walmart directly across the street within walking distance and easy and quick access to the highway. The WiFi was horrible though, but other than that, everything else was good. I'd stay here again as well as recommend it to friends and family.

We were staying with several other families for a softball tournament and at check in, one of the other families found what looked like a bed bug under their bed cover. I sent the picture to a friend who’s an entomologist who confirmed that it was either a bed bug or bat bug and strongly recommended that we not stay there. We ended up losing our first night’s room charge. Only the family that discovered the bug were given a full refund.

I booked this room for my husband. He needed a quick stop for the night. He waited for an hour and there was nobody to check him in. He tried to contact expedia and the hotel without luck. The phone rang but nobody came to answer. Since it was getting late. He had to go to a different hotel. This booking was a joke.

Avoid this one by all means. Hotel staffs were very rude and unprofessional. The manager was not present on site during the work hours and appeared to be not willing to resolve the issues I had with the hotel. The room was surprisingly filthy with bad odors although the lobby was very clean. This hotel is not worth paying a penny.

Arrived with no staff available to check me in. Two other groups of guests arrived before/after me and couldn’t check in. We didn’t see a worker for over 2 hours. Eventually got a refund, but most insane experience with a hotel ever. Would no recommend at all.

This hotel was in great location to Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga! I would recommend staying at this location. The female at the front desk went above and beyond during our stay. We would stay there again!

Check in was slow and unwelcoming. The woman checking us in just didn’t seem to really care for her job and just wanted to get it over with. When we got to the room it had a smell I can’t describe. The bathroom curtain was molded, tub looked like I hadn’t been cleaned In months, rags looked dingy and still dirty. Bed sheets did not fit the bed and popped off the mattress in the middle of the night. I usually don’t complain or pay attention to much when I understand you get what you pay for but even with that, these were simple things you shouldn’t have to worry about even at a cheap price.

This property was an example of owner/manager not knowing how to run a hotel. Would not stay there again and would not recommend it.

Upon arriving in room, discovered someone had left a frozen ice cream drink in the freezer so obviously fridge and freezer were not checked or cleaned. There was a towel that had stains on it. That was supposedly in the clean linen and bathroom sink was very slow draining. The bed was OK pillows not the most comfortable. Area around is noisy. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good

Breakfast was good! Lots of options, hot and cold. Bed was nice, mattress in good shape. Not a luxurious place but very adequate. At first we had trouble with door lock and couldn't get in to the room, so Toni immediately switched us to a different room.
