King - balcony - fireplace room . Nice and clean room . Fantastic front desk people . Only problem harder to park a big vehicle and noticed numerous people just parking and walking to the strip. Need to enforce parking window hangers .. breakfast was very nice and really enjoyed the seating area with the fire pit .

We stayed over threeekend and our favorite part was the front patio of the hotel had nice chairs and a gas fire pit we could sit and people watch from. Also on the side the tables and chairs provided a great place to eat lunch that we picked up from down the road. We never drove anywhere, great walkable location to all the restaurants and shops on Gatlinburg!

TV freezing up and shower dripping on first day and when we left, both reported to desk. Hot tub and pool in rough condition. Walkways and outside hall floors nasty. Everyone needs to know they now charge $15 a day parking fee for hotel guest, surprise to me. The facility as a whole not up to the standards expected from a Hampton Inn.

Overall good stay but they recently started charging for parking which wasn’t clear. I’ve stayed here multiple times and they changed their rules in April.

Location is perfect if you like being in the center of the action. Room was clean and everything in the room worked fine. Beds were comfortable. Nice view from the room. Staff was very friendly and super helpful! Pool and hot tub were clean. Breakfast was good, with hot eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, cereal, waffles every day. Some great restaurants right nearby. Only negatives I can think of were that the ice machine on our floor didn't work. The area by the pool is a bit run down. Other than that it was excellent.

The hotel is in a perfect location. We were charged for parking, $16.00 per night, in the hotel lot which I felt was ridiculous. The room was nice, only downfall was the ceiling paint in the shower was chipping. Room was clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The front section of the hotel is dated and could benefit from a renovation. Our room door hung and receptacles were few and far between. There weren't any located around the bathroom sink, but two were included at the bathroom door light switch. A nice breakfast buffet is included. The buffet staff were helpful and courteous. Our neighbors in the adjacent room left their dogs in the restroom while they were out seeing Gatlinburg. They barked until their owners returned. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I voiced my displeasure with the additional nonrefundable $50 parking fee for our 3 day stay. There was also a $25 incidentals fee that was charged at check in. I'm hoping to have the unused amount refunded to my credit card.

The only issue was lack of parking due to the upper lot being resurfaced and the current construction taking up additional parking in the lower level. Staff and room were excellent. We stay here for the strip being right outside and they allow pets.

The hotel was nice and clean. I thought the room was small but it served it’s purpose. The location was great. It was right in the parkway, so we could walk to everything we needed. The construction wasn’t terrible but the beeping of the machine was constant and annoying. The pool and hot tub were nice. I was disappointed that the fridge in the room was so tiny but at least there was one! We were able to keep the room extra cool, which was great. The breakfast was good and it was nice that it went until 10 am. I would recommend and definitely stay again.

Our room was dirty, the shower head was old and crusty, there was hair in the sink, really needed up dating. Construction going on the parking lot, very limited parking. Mattress in our room was terrible, needs to be replaced. I could feel every spring in the mattress. The location is great, staff was nice, creek was beside our room, Ober Gatlin is next door. Probably won’t stay here again to be honest

We had a wonderful stay with a balcony overlooking the creek and a fireplace in the room - right on the main street of downtown Gatlinburg. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Fire pit and seating overlooking creek and parkway in front of hotel. Highly recommend!

When unlocking our room door I immediately realized this was not the room I reserved from Hotels.com. I went straight back to front desk and they explained the pictures on Hotels.com of rooms hadn’t been updated since their remodel. I then explained well it still isn’t the bigger room with bigger beds. They said well that’s all they had because all other rooms were full. So basically paid for premium room and got put in standard room. So immediately after carrying luggage in started to notice the dirt in room and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. Back to front desk they apologized but it was too late and housekeeping was gone. So we cleaned bathroom with Clorox wipes. The door was very hard to open and close and apparently so were all the others because we heard every other room slamming their doors throughout night and day. We are in Gatlinburg 2 times a month to visit family. This is not our normal place to stay but thought we would give it a shot because of location to event we were there for, also thought with the Hampton name it would be ok. Lesson learned 👎

There was construction going on at the building that produces a lot of noise early mornings. A large dumpster occupied multiple parking spaces and attracted bugs and wildlife including bears. The hotel room was filled out with drain flies which most likely came from the dumpster outside. Overall it was a bad experience.

The exterior hallways were really dirty. They should probably be cleaned more often. The room was good. I would have loved to use the balcony - but the room next door was smoking marijuana on their balcony. It wreaked!!! And it was supposed to be nonsmoking!!

This motel was very clean, modern, and everyone was friendly. But the mattress was like sleeping on a soft pillow, no back support. Having back problems as many other older people do you need to have a bed with some level of support. Front desk said all mattresses had recently been changed to these. As much as I liked the hotel I can’t stay there again.

Great location, very comfortable and the staff were all very nice. Our door was an issue, it seems like it was too big for the door jam, so we would have to slam it shut to get it to close and made a great deal of noise forcing it open, so hard when one of us wakes up early and doesn't want to wake the room up. That was the only issue. I would still return, everything else was so great, it was aminot issue by comparison.

Staff very pleasant! Beds a little lumpy. It is pet friendly so there is some barking during the day and sometime early mornings. We had a river view that was nice to sit and hear the water. And the fireplace outside was very nice to sit at and people watch. Very convenient to everything!

The room had been remodeled. Was in pristine condition but had problems. The mattress was the softest bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. It offered virtually no support. The bathroom was teeny-tiny. The single sink faucet was positioned on the corner of the bathroom cabinet. This caused water to be spread everywhere while you washed your hands, face, coffee cup, etc. A wet floor was a constant issue. THE WORST problem was the 15 inch commode. A small child would have no access problems. My 6’4” husband …no such luck. At 5’5” , my arthritic knees protested every time I sat on the commode. Why would you put such a low toilet in a motel room?

The Dayshift Staff was very friendly and helpful regarding directions to restaurant's , shops and things to do in the area.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn in Gatlinburg was top notch due to the amazing hospitality of the staff. Anita met us in the parking lot as we pulled in to ensure we were properly directed to the parking garage to keep our bike out of the rain. We received text messages checking into see how our stay was going and if we were in need of anything. The room was clean, comfortable, and in a very good location.

Great customer service!! Randelle at the front was amazing! Never had anyone be so kind and detailed!! Very quite! Loved that everything was right there but yet our room was the view of the creek and quiet! Perfect place!

Perfect location! At the end of the Parkway by the entrance to the park. You can still easily walk the Parkway to get to restaurants and shops, but you don't have to drive the parkway which can be congested and can easily enter the park. We had a creekview balcony room and it was very nice to ait out and listen to the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the bottom sheet didn’t really fit the bed, it was too small and wouldn't stay on the mattress which was annoying. Other than that, we had a very nice stay and would return.

The hotel was clean, convenient location to walk downtown. The room was a little small. We took our small dog which was nice but they put us on the 3rd floor which was not very convenient. No cleaning service (due to having our dog). They asked us to set our trash and towels outside our door by 10 am. We did our own housekeeping but they charge an additional fee for the pet.

Convenient location close to attractions along the main strip of downtown Gatlinburg. The hotel has free parking which is nice considering parking in that area is expensive. Great breakfast and friendly staff. I'd definitely stay there again!

Location is perfect if you like being in the center of the action. Room was clean and everything in the room worked fine. Beds were comfortable. Nice view from the room. Staff was very friendly and super helpful! Pool and hot tub were clean. Breakfast was good, with hot eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, cereal, waffles every day. Some great restaurants right nearby. Only negatives I can think of were that the ice machine on our floor didn't work. The area by the pool is a bit run down. Other than that it was excellent.

Great location right on the main Parkway strip. Walkable to the main attractions and restaurants! Front desk staff woman who checked me in and out was SO friendly, I wish I caught her name to give her a shout out! It's an older hotel, rooms are a bit dated, dirty but I sort of expected that. It wasn't off putting at all. Room was cozy, beds were comfy, amenities in room were just fine and we had plenty of towels. Pool was decent size but a bit cold. Hot tub was nice. We had a balcony room facing strip, and that was nice. One of the best perks of this hotel is the breakfast!! Fruit salad, waffles with all the fixin's for toppings. Eggs and bacon, yogurts, english muffins, juices and on. We stayed at 8 hotels on this trip of ours and this hotel had the best breakfast hands down. Parking lot is small and tight, so I would suggest finding your spot and staying put, since everything is in walking distance. We had no issues with this hotel and I would recommend and come back and stay some day.

Very clean room. Staff was extremely customer friendly. I think if we had called them and asked them to turn down our beds, they would have done it! Breakfast was very good and was changed up a bit each day to make it more interesting. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great staff , really good breakfast , room was clean . Bed was comfortable for a night , after a week I was very sore from it . Parking sucked as people would park there and then go walk the strip .

My husband, I, and our chihuahua loved our stay!! I'm so happy the hotel is pet friendly so we can bring our fur-baby with us! The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming! The unlimited coffee and hot tea in the lounge is awesome. Breakfast is amazing! As a vegetarian, there are lots of options! As a gluten-free vegetarian, there were scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fresh fruit and canned fruit. Food was super yummy!! The room is clean and cozy and it's right on the Gatlinburg strip so you just walk out of your motel room and everything is right there! This is our go-to place!

Everything was great except for the breakfast. Seems like all the food is what I call “foo foo”. Example - omelette was full of peppers , none without. No regular scrambled eggs. So I go to make a waffle , none with regular flavor , just vanilla or cinnamon !

Always nice and welcoming. They have renovations going on right now so breakfast was lacking(had to go to a regular room where they had limited selection) but they still tried at least. Room was nice as usual. Fireplace was nice to have as well.

Air conditioning wasn’t working properly. There were air gaps from under the doors where the weather stripping should have been. I had to pay 75.00 for bring my Chihuahua to a pet friendly hotel and also I had to pay $15 a day for parking fee. I’ve never had to do that before and they didn’t disclose this information when I paid for my room in advance on the Internet booking site
