This is a great property! Front desk staff to management they are attentive, knowledgeable and friendly! The pool areas were great, well maintained!! Yes, Bears roam around the property at night!!

Loved that there were 2 pools. Downtown Gatlinburg is in walking distance!

The property itself was really nice. However, the elevators kept breaking down. The hallway is getting to the rooms were hot. My AC couldn’t keep up. My room was too hot to sleep in all night long. I need to do a little bit of updating.

A very nice outdoor pool as well as a very unique indoor pool. Onsite restaurant was nice. Shelter house with fireplace and grill area was great. Don't see that in many motels

The pool alone was worth the stay!

This was a great hotel for what we paid. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was great, the staff was friendly and everything was clean. The restaurant could have had better staff and the food was not that great. Overall we where happy with our stay.

This property is a bit worn and the carpet could stand to be replaced. However, the property is reasonably well maintained and clean. I think the pool area is the highlight of the property and it is in exceptionally good condition and immaculately clean if you go to bed early, try to avoid booking a room in the pool area. It is quite noisy until 10 PM when it closes. 10 minute or less walk to the strip Wi-Fi and television were decent. The bed was very firm, but for a lot of people that may be a good thing. Service was absolutely outstanding from everyone I encountered from the front desk check-in to the housekeeping staff to the Maintenance. The breakfast buffet is very lackluster. I had to find the cashier and no one was really attending to the buffet and the food was nothing more really than a fancy continental breakfast at buffet prices. I would definitely return here.

Convenient location, quite, decent indoor pool. Restaurant was so-so. Building starting to look a little worn in places, but still serviceable.

The reviews on this hotel are SERIOUSLY misleading. The rooms are “renovated” but it is far more of a “manager special” type of renovation than an actual renovation. There was mold in the corners of the bathroom, cracks and holes in the bathtub, and worst of all, ROACHES!!!! We found 2 roaches in the bathroom on the morning of checkout. I brought it to the attention of the checkout desk clerk. We were told that because of the cold the roaches come in. I have stayed in several hotels and airbnb’s in the area and have never had this issue. Nick, who I am assuming is the manager, was standing nearby during this conversation and accommodated us accordingly, which we really appreciated. However, we will not be staying here again.

Nice property, had some extra amenities. The pool could be cleaner and it was quite noisy.

Their were bugs inside and outside of the sheets and the walls and the roof of the hotel. I expected more to combat that but also the shower head was just a basic 5 dollar head from walmart if that and had no pressure was almost as bad as using it without a head at all.

It is an older place but very clean. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Pictures do not depict the actual rooms or conditions of the hotel. Chipped paint everywhere in the room. Cob webs were in just about every corner of the room. Shower had no water pressure and minimal hot water. Woke up at 6 in the morning and saw 2 bugs crawling around on the ceiling. Needless to say I could not fall back asleep. Glad we were only there for one night. Will not go back or recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel was wonderful. I will warn you, it is run down and dated but we are the type of family to explore and do things throughout the day so all we needed was a place to sleep after a long day. Everything was clean and staff was friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding areas.

Not clean. TV got 1 station, phone didn’t work, bedside light didn’t work, bed like a rock, but the worst was the deodorant they sprayed the room with……it gave out and the room smelled like urine terribly. I would never recommend this hotel!

Our bathroom in our room was disgusting. Pool was not kept clean.

This hotel was probably top notch back in the day but it is very outdated and has not had quality updates. Like they’ve been slapping some paint on top of things for decades. Every thing in our room was rusty and old. I would not advise getting a poolside room because the noise from the waterfall and kids are so loud we couldn’t go to sleep until it closed for the night, which was at 11. The lobby was decorated nicely, the restaurant in the hotel had one waitress working on a Saturday night. We sat for an hour waiting on our pizza and it was cold when we got it. Was not impressed.

The rooms were a bit outdated. The halls to the rooms wern't air conditioned, and the 2nd floor area where the vending machine/ice machine were was HOT!!! Wouldn't consider anything in the vending machine and very uncomfortable to walk through after walking the hot hallways. Room was nice and cold!!! Beds were nice. Decor outdated but nice and spacious and clean. Pools are awesome!!! Enjoyed the stay.

Nice location. It is a dated motel. The outdoor pool was cloudy/dirty. The connceting rooms have a gap under the door where you can see peoples feet in the other room. The A/C rattled all night. There was a mustiness in the room. Front desk was friendly. Free parking. 10 minute walk to main strip. We checked out early with full refund from Expedia (thank you!).

So first off let me say that Expedia makes this place look completely different than what it is!! Our room was in the back of the hotel with an outside entry. When I booked this room it said NOTHING about having to outside to get into our room!! So how fun was that to go to the pool and have to leave the inside to walk outside to get to your room!!! It sucked!! The bathroom was clean however you could see outside through the side and bottom of the door..apparently they don’t know what weather stripping is!! The space is so bad between the door that one of the nights I smelled pot. The smell continues to worsen. I opened the door to find a girl using our 1 chair outside of our room to sit and smoke pot!! WTH!!!! I had to ask her to go somewhere else to do her drugs. Then we had a ton of ants on the carpet because of the huge gaps in the door!!! The walls are paper thin!!! If you are going for a relaxing quiet stay and you don’t want to hear everyone going past your door and your neighbors ENTIRE conversation…I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! The only good thing about our stay was the amazingly friendly staff and proximity to the main strip!!! I will NEVER stay here again and will NEVER EVER book through Expedia!!!

We were looking for a good indoor pool for our kids which they definitely have and they loved. Just note that if you stay at a pool side room it can be loud, wasn’t a problem for us as the kids loved staying by the pool but may be something to consider. Hotel was clean and seemed to be recently renovated. Was a bit too far from the parkway to really want to walk.

The beds were awful!!! Customer service is great! John is great! The pool is fun but yes it is noisy. There's really not enough amenities to justify the cost, and the beds were really uncomfortable. The balcony over looked the parking lot.

There is an issue with WiFi. Was never able to connect to it. Not sure it should be listed as an amenity. The breakfast buffet is only Friday through Sunday. If you want breakfast during the week there is a Shoney’s within walking distance. The beds and pillows are VERY firm. Good if you like that kind of thing. I have a really bad back and had a hard time getting comfortable. It would have been nice to have a pillow topper on the bed. Hubby (who does not have back issues) slept fine.

Beds & pillows were good, staff was friendly. Good price. But room is an exterior entry motel room that was was noisy from fridge and AC, thin walls, trash truck that came around 6:30am even on Sat and Sun banging dumpsters and using back up signal. Insufficient parking. Ok budget option if you know what you're getting into.

We picked a “pool view” room, however we didn’t know this would mean we would hear screaming children until 10 pm. They also had bright lights that shown into our room at all times, so sleeping was difficult. The bathroom was clean, but TINY. Half the outlets in the room did not work so only half our room had light unless we opened the curtain, however then everyone could look in on us as they walked by the room. The pool was very cool, but children were jumping from one pool to the other which was extremely dangerous and no staff spoke to them or parents that I witnessed. I would stay again with a different room location and a cheaper price.

Key card would not work to get into the room. Had to go down to lobby 3 times before we got let into our room.

House keeper trying coming into my room as i was in the room and luckily i had the latch on my door because if not the person would have walked right in my room which is really weird because once i looked out my door the person rushed down the hallway just so i wouldn’t be able to catch them

The front desk staff Mike was very welcoming and informative. He made checkin a breeze.

Front desk worker wasn’t so nice. Had us in a room right outside the pool having to listen to the large waterfall. Ask to be moved and he said no it would be an up charge. Then after viewing my room even more found that the sink was cracked. So then he decided to move us.

The hotel was beautiful, loved the indoor and outdoor pool options. The only thing that was disturbing was that I got charged for smoking in our room when no one smoked. There were other occupants on our floor that were smoking on their balconies, that I personally seen. The Superintendent of the hotel came banging on our door and was accusing us of smoking and told my husband that we were going to be charged $250. He wouldn't even listen to him that nobody was smoking and that you can smell it at the end of the hallway where the other occupants we seen smoking on their balconies. My husband was so mad that we left that day which was a day early so we losted that nights stay money on top of being charged for something we did not do! WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS PROSPERITY EVER AGAIN

Kristin was amazing from start to finish!!!! Anything we needed she was on it! Super accommodating when last minute stuff showed up as well!

John & Rebecca at the front are awesome!! Super friendly and very informative of the building and even pointed out some nearby attractions & restaurants. We were impressed as soon as we walked in, we requested an extra day to stay to enjoy. Pool is awesome! The whole place is beautiful and well kept.

Great location! Rooms are clean and staff friendly. Breakfast is not included but easy to bring your own and use their refrigerator and microwave or go to the Log Cabin Pancake House (highly recommend).

The staff here are phenomenal! They made our check-in process quick and easy, we’re very helpful, friendly and provided some great insight on surrounding area. Hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, National Park, etc and walkable to a wide range of options. Great Hotel and highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

The location is really convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. If you don't want to walk, there is a trolly stop just in front of the hotel.

Awesome place to stay when visiting Gatlinburg. The pool was nice and clean. The rooms are very well kept. Everything is close by and walkable distance. Lots of food options and attractions.

About a half mile walk to the main drag. Shops and restaurants are walkable.

Perfectly located to sneak in and out of town. The strip is easily accessible by walking. I have stayed here now 6 times. It has never disappointed me.

The location was close to the noisy main streets, but the hotel is located on a quiet side street. The room was nice & spacious. The lobby was lovely. We would definitely come back.

Loved the proximity to main street in Gatlinburg, everything was clean. Pool area was nice. Only thing I think they need to upgrade is restaurant food. Food was horrible, ordered chichen parm and it was cut up chicken pattie with no taste. Breakfast was no more than what I can get for free at other hotels.

Nice place! Pool and hot tub were great. Older building but maintained. Good location for walking downtown Gatlinburg. Restaurant in the hotel seemed to have new owners and they were figuring out how to operate out of that space. We ate breakfast there two mornings and I would recommend going down the street to the pancake place..

I absolutely loved this place .The staff was friendly especially Mike and it was within walking distance of the things to do..I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay 12 bucks for a continental breakfast that should have been free so if you're staying here do not pay for this its just a continental breakfast.

The front desk staff were lovely. Unfortunately despite the 4 resident bears we didn't see any during our stay. Second day we went to have breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel and were initially ignored by the staff then told that they weren't serving breakfast that day. If they had said that first we'd have gone elsewhere.

5 days nice friendly staff room was nice refrigerator and microwave should of been replaced. rain came in the AC floor was soaked. BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED. restaurant in hotel charged me almost $50 for my wife and me to get the breakfast buffet and coffee so you half to add that to o cost of room never staid anywhere that didn't have free breakfast

Ok but outdated. They had a typical continental breakfast but charge extra for it. Nice pool but overran. Stains on bedsheets and not very comfortable.
