Parking not safe and not easy to get to

I had a downstairs room with my family. It was good for the price and we were only staying for 1 night. Parking was very limited. We heard every noise made outside all night long. Some of the towels had strange orange stains on them. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet so using the rest room felt like you were going to snap it. Shower curtain had what looked like mold with paint on it as well. They are currently changing management so hopefully it gets better. But 1 night for $96 and only being 12 minutes away from port was great.

It was good for the price. I was expecting it to be worse to be honest. The room was clean but I had no towels. The door was kinda messed up but still worked. The neighbors were kinda noisy through the night but not bad. But the area didn’t seem that good. A few sketchy people standing around outside. But the pool is actually great. There are 2 on either side of the building and it was super clean and well taken care of. For the money this motel is worth it. Just make sure u get a good room or ask for a new one.

The pool was open till 11 left us time to enjoy the pool after the beach .

We get to hotel no one at desk for a out 5 minutes waiting then get to room no towels no phone to call them had to go back to office there are lots of people waiting 3 were waiting for towels then all we can hear is kids and babies cry all night ! Would not stay again!

It's an older property so it's not perfect but it's safe, great area, nice pool! Staff is wonderful. Great price for area.

So incredibly run down. Peeling paint. Trim around doors, entryway to bathroom, trim around air conditioner all in bad shape. Property dirty. Window, doors, mirrors haven’t been washed in weeks. Peeling paint and filthy unit doors. Sketchy customers. Sketchy area. Definitely not the picture depicted on website. Even our transport guy from the airport asked if we were sure this was the right place. Lobby windows and doors filthy. Garbage all over the property. On the bright side the pool was clean. Has fridge and microwave. Juan, the maintenance guy was extremely pleasant and helpful. For the price it was ridiculous. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels for less for one night. Never ever again. My best advice is to run!!! There’s a lot of potential for this place if the right person owned or managed it. 169$ a night is a rip off. It’s not close to anything.

I wish I could tell you that the residency inn also is the travel lodge. The room had cracked windows pet hair underneath the torn sheet. The shower was unusable there was mold everywhere. The room had been heavily smoked in. The window was cracked. There was a towel seeping up water from the air conditioner. The closet hanger was hanging off the wall. The ventahood in the bathroom was hanging by a screw with an exposed wire. The refrigerator had rust all over the top of it. There was paint all over the curtains and the wall shams. It was old makeup on the bathroom wall. There was sand on the bathroom vanity. Not one single trash can in the whole room. The room was very underwhelming. The permanent residence that were hanging out were not encouraging. The room was not ready until 4:00 when check-in was at 3:00. The location with seedy at best. The park at your own risk was encouraging. The pool was clean but closed. The pump house had a door hanging from the hinges. The parking lot was cluttered with old furniture. Underneath the sheet there was a full zip bed protector that have been rubbed against the floor several times and had black residue all over it. Drove around the property three times before we realized it was a Travelodge and not a residency inn. While trying to add photos to this post it will not allow it. But took several photos. We were not the only guest who were told rooms weren't ready. And we are not the only guest who walked into our rooms and were shocked.

Good place to stay and park for a cruise

The hotel was sketchy my wife was outside and someone walkee up to her and ask her if she had drugs that was scary and it seems like there is alot of that going on there. Very uncomfortable but nice pool

I rented three rooms for the night as it was convenient in distance to cruise port. I am very aware that it was cheap and wasnt expecting more then just a place to lay my head and shower. Opening the door you could smell the mold. I didnt dare turn down air conditioner as the smell may increase. Now for the dirty part. Jumped in shower there was a crusty towel with brown streaks hanging on the back of the door. (They did have a set of clean towels though by the sink). Pulled up covers to lay down. There was pee stained sheets. As we are start figuring out how to get some kind of sleep through the night. My son calls from the other room I rented saying there was bed bugs. I walked over and sure enough bed bugs were crawling all over is bed and pillow. I go to front desk to have them switch rooms. They tell me there is nothing they can do its to late to change. I had to talk to someone in the morning. I pleaded my case showed him pictures of the bugs even suggested he come look. Didnt matter. I eneded up moving my son and daughter in our room. As we checked and didnt see bugs in our room. Lets just say we didnt get much sleep and morning didnt come fast enough. I am from Ohio and it was a Sunday. The health department should be called on that place. It was discusting. All I can tell people is dont do what I did. I read reviews and was like "how bad could it really be". 78.00 bucks a night?? Im telling you right now its safer and healthier to sleep in your car.

Never coming here again, no tv, smelled like cigarettes, noise all night, my family did not enjoy this stay. Bathtub was horrible. No towels, could not close blinds because they were stuck. And fridge was frozen could not store anything.

The property was dirty and ran down. Damage to the walls and black mold in our room. The smell in our room was unbearable. Would not recommend to anyone. Only plus at all was the lady that checked us in was very friendly.

Disputing the charge with the credit card. There was multiple drops of dried blood on the floor. The room had a strong stench. Visible cigarette burns on the bed. The bathroom had visible urine stains and fecal matter on the walls and tub. Half of the lights didn’t work. Conditions were unacceptable and deplorable. Picture of the property on Expedia are deceiving.

The room was filthy, the weed smell was unreal, the ac was literally pulled away from the wall, there were wads of hair in the tub, and some mystery slime on the wall. We walked in, saw this madness, and walked right back out. It was uninhabitable.

Gross! The room was nothing special just to lay our heads down and sleep. Not much sleep was had. The room was filthy and the walls are super thin. The mini fridge had spills left inside and bench was shredded. The only reason we stayed is because we needed a place to crash. At least we had our own blanket. Otherwise, I feel like we could have caught some nasty disease. Not worth the price!

Mold on shower curtain. Towel rod missing. Almost dead cockroach in bathroom. No bedspread. Floors not swept. No towels in room. No place to hang clothes. Outside looked like it was never cleaned. So bad we left a day early. Good—did refund portion of payment. Service guy did come check when bath light went out.

Got to the room and the pillows didn’t have cases, no towels, no shower curtain. Room was dirty and holes in bedding. Call front desk about the pillows and towels and was told they were short on them and to come get some.

Cockroachs… Worst place I have ever stayed at ever. it was in Process of remodeling over spray and unfinished sheet rock repairs. But the cockroach on top of the toilet at 3am was not super surprising considering the conditions of the place is a real dump. The exterior needed painting badly the door and framing dented and day light shows through. Ac was noisy and a lot of the metal framing around the ac were off or partially detached Full trash cans in the walkways The 2 cracked out employees were friendly though. This place should not be allowed on Expedia does not meet a minimum standard.

Restroom shower wasn’t working, and I couldn’t charge my phone the only plug working was the tv plug

First it was a last minute booking and for the price was not expecting much, so thats on me. However, Did not think i was going to have to book another hotel that night! -Bathroom smelled like urine, (front desk person, said "i couldnt find the source of smell when i mopped eairlier, but i lysoled") -Curtains didnt shut all the way -Upon arrival there was a police man looking for someone, had the feeling of uncertainty -Bedsheets had bad odar as well By the end of it all, i tried getting some sort of redund but there was nothing they could do, which is understanable, but i couldnt stay the night there, especially traveling with a little one. I wouldnt recommend

We had to go to the front desk just to get towels. No phone or coffee maker. Shower head was way too big for that small space. Base boards broken.

The door had been previously kicked in. The door jam and lock area were broken because of this, and the door didn't close completely, so you could stick you hand between the bottom of the door and the door jam itself. The room smelled as if a family of skunks had been living in it. There was what was either fecal matter or dried up blood dripping down several walls. There were food wrappers and what looked like bug larva in the desk drawer. The TV didn't work. The bathroom looked like it was recently remodeled because there was dried up caulking all over the bathtub and floor. I went down to the front desk attendant to ask for a different room and showed him the picture of the door. He said yes it had been kicked in previously, but it was perfectly safe. He said they had no more rooms they were very busy. The parking lot had 3 cars total in it. All the left over material from remodeling shower areas was lying outside on the sidewalk. I can't believe this was even associated to Expedia. I don't know if I'd be comfortable using them again, for this very reason.

Had a crack in door jam that you could see the parking lot through, room had musty odor

I waited 30 minutes for the service rep to just walk-through a door. Once I was checked in he told be to be sure and lock my door and hide anything I'd loke to keep.. While getting into the room, the door was half way broke off of the hinges. The TV was not much bigger than a iPad. The bed had stains of it (white and red), the curtains did not close so everyone walking by could just look into my room at all hours. Other resident's were yelling all night and the police were there for many unknown reasons throughout the night and early morning. Very rough around the edges.

Room had a strong odor, dirty, not well maintained. They gave us no cups or towels.The best part was a comfortable bed.

The room I paid for was not available. I called ahead earlier in the day to make sure it was available - I was told it will be. Need I say anymore?

We showed up to check into in our paid in advance room to a sign that red no vacancy and the doors locked. I tried several times to call and knock bto get someone to come check me in to no avail. Wouldn't recommend at all

It was easy and fast to check in

Staff 's polite but unresponsive to several requests for a working TV and towels.

Upon entering our room after checking in it was noticed that we had no trash can in either the living area or the bathroom. The electrical outlet by the sink did not work. The doorway and walking area into the room (outside) was cluttered with junk making it easy to trip and fall. The hasplock was only held on with two screws and was very loose and not at all safe. Later the next morning after we had went out for the day nobody in housekeeping had come by to clean the room nor refresh the towels. When I went to the front desk ask why I was told that I needed to TELL them I needed housekeeping. I’ve worked in a hotel before and that’s not how that works at all. When I asked for more towels I was told “As soon as we have some clean ones we will bring them up” at this time it was 3pm and we had been all day at the beach in need of a shower. Seems to me the laundry should have already been being taken care of.

No towels, had to ask for a wash rag so we could wash our faces. Couldn’t take a shower because of no towels, bathroom was filthy. Tv remote wouldn’t work, didn’t even have a cover over the batteries had to manually turn tv on and off. Was supposed to have coffee in the lobby in the morning at 7 doors were locked and nobody was there. Couldn’t get any coffee. Basically we paid to sleep in a crappy bed. I think we should receive a full refund.

Over all it was a good experience. The room was clean, good customer services, ac was 10/10 it was really nice to come to a cold room after being out in the sun 🌞

The man at the desk was very polite. The room was not cleaned, no blanket only sheets, no mattress pad and mattress was stained, no towels at all, toilet was not clean. We didn’t, couldn’t stay.

I couldn't check-in at 11:30pm. Noone around and didn't answer phone or hotels.com messages.

Stay was for 2 nights however only was able to stay one. First night the tv was broken and no phone to call anyone for help with that and the a/c. Second night got locked out of my room and had no staff on property to help nor did I have any way of calling. Had to sleep in my car and stayed off property as the are did not seem safe. Attempted to get a refund for even the one night but can’t since the property doesn’t have the courtesy of cooperating with agency. Now I’m out the money of a hotel I couldn’t even stay at.

Rough area

Horrible horrible horrible do not book or stay. We booked as a last minute choice when i got us too far from port thinking it would Be along the lines with a Motel 6 that was the furthest from the case within the 5 minutes from checking to looking at our room, we walked past 4 people blatantly doing drugs on the balcony we had to walk around and over broken TVS and other Electronics to just get to our room. When we got to our room, It was like somebody was already in the room. The TV was on the air conditioner did not work. The bathroom mirror was shattered. There was just a random little Mini fridge in the middle of the bedroom. Holes all over the walls and it was disgusting. We turned around and instantly left. We then lodged a complaint instantly with Expedia And they refused to give us our money back. The property refused to give us our money back. So we were out our money. This place is horrible. Do not stay here and I would really think about booking with Expedia. For you're travels as well. Because they do not back the properties that they are representing on their site as well. And you will be out of money if they book you with a horribly unsafe place. Oh and on top of it i paid 95 but the receipt the office had me sign said way less then paid on Expedia and they refused to give me a copy for proof as well.

The place looks just like the picture but when you get there, it’s like taking you back in time. It’s not a five star hotel. There was a funky smell. The outside of the property looked very sketchy. By the look of the property I thought it was going to a decent place. I was not expecting to arrive at a palace, but decent. I was very wrong. For the price it’s not worth it.

This property should not be listed on Expedia! We paid for the room before arriving to the city. When we pulled in, there was vagrants everywhere in the parking lot people loitering and she’s hanging around rooms open barbecue pits right outside like people were living there not renting very unsafe. I would not recommend this place to anybody avoid it. we drove to the parking lot and kept going. We just took the loss of the cost of the room for the night.

Bed linens are dirty, furniture broken, bath tub dirty and broken. When I checked in around 11pm, I told him I'm checking in. That staff was looking at the computer for 5mins and he asked me, "what can I do for you?" :) Many homeless people are walking thru the property at the night. Seems unsafe and cost is high for this setup.

After much research for the trip and budget we stayed here. Upon arrival we went to our room and had no toiletries,towels,stained top bedding.3 very flat and poor conditioned pillows for a king size bed, a dirty refrigerator. When we asked for towels we were told we had to wait for some to be laundered.we had a poor working television as well. The office was closed in the morning sometimes until 8am to get coffee. We had to go to the gas station for tp since office was closed to ask for some. We stated with a half a roll. I just felt this place is false advertising. If there was more transparency we could have prepared or chose another place.

Probably will never stay here again unless the remodeling showes a significant upgrade. No coffee provided at office as promised. Office was closed and never answered phone.

The guy at the desk was very pleasant, and they have Community Coffee in the lobby, although the lobby doesn't open till 8. The room was clean but extremely run down, and anything not bolted down has been stolen. The main concern for me was safety. The surroundings were scary and the bolt on the door had been removed. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.
