A/C works great! Plenty of parking. But the rest sucked. Staff was brash. The new floor tile was squishy (water damaged). Elevators have a rough ride. Hallway carpet is full of stains. Breakfast is wet eggs & muffins. There is NO ocean view.

Rooms were clean. Great view of the Gulf. Not enough pillows on bed two small pillows not even a normal size. The elevator was not working properly. This is the third time we have stayed here and the first time there was anything that was a problem other than that it is a great place to stay. Not sure what was going on with the elevator. Maybe was over worked not sure. Hopefully that can be fixed.

The front desk was very nice, and that was about the only ok part of the trip. The hotel itself is old and needs work we booked this hotel because of the location and hot tub but the hot tub did not work. Room felt musty and floors would sweat if the AC wasn't set at least at 69 so the room had to stay cold which was very unpleasant at times.

There were mexican men blocking empty parking spaces in the front parking lot not letting you park and saving the spaces for their friends. Front office workers did nothing. Hot tub has been broken for weeks and they didn't know when it would be fixed.

Looks and smelled clean. Good continental breakfast. Upkeep and facilities were horrible however. There were two elevators. One had a door that didn’t open all the way the other was duct taped together and smelled like smoke. The certification expired a moth ago(they took it down and didn’t replace it that night. The hot tub was like warm and you had to go into the front desk to request a 15 min session with the jets each time.

Our room was very clean. Bathroom was spotless. The beds were super comfortable. Our balcony could use some repair to the outdoor AC cover-which is a small concern considering it was an inexpensive stay. The property itself & common areas could use a little TLC. Bfst was eggs, waffles and bagels. Grabbed some bagels and ate in our rm cause the bfst rm was crowded. Bagels were really fresh. Beach access is right across the street and the pool has areas to rinse off when you get back. Overall my family had a nice time.

The photos on the website is not what I saw when I got at the property. The hotel was once Days Inn and we all know how old Days Inn are. The place smells musty when you walk in. The rooms really needs renovation. I hated how I spent $237 for two nights there. The room phone never worked, the iron board was broken, the shower curtain was old and raggy. The walls and doors of the hotel were dirty and filthy looking. I was miserable throughout my whole stay, only because my husband was telling me to not worry about it and let’s just stick it out. The plank flooring was moist as if it’s water underneath and the toilet took forever to flush after using it. The staff are really nice though I must say. I would give this hotel 4.5/10

We arrived early and was able to get in our room. We spent the evening in the pool. The beach is right across the street. Your room will not have a view of the beach as they are on the sides of the hotel.

Spacious and clean rooms. Plenty of amenities. Good value for the price. Our room was at the back of the hotel, and I timed that it took 15 minutes for the hot water to make it back to that area. Once realizing this, plenty of hot water available for a good hot shower.

Hotel was in a good location, pool on site. Less than 10 min driving to the Pier with beach access within walking distance. Walls were super thin and you could here everything going on from the hallway. Enjoyed our stay overall

This hotel is obviously trying to upgrade, however they have a ways to go. The room blinds were broken, the mattress was terrible, literally you could not sleep in the middle portion, it was a huge dent, and unfortunately we woke up to roaches in our bathroom.

Stayed for 1 night. My biggest complaint is the uncomfortable spring matresses.The building is kind of run down and the floors in the common areas are dirty. The tv had a terrible picture quality. However, I'm low maintainence. The room was clean and cool and I enjoyed the balcony and the pool.

Where do I begin? Staff not very helpful. Room was disggusting dirty. Staff was rude. Room was dirty! Window had something white splintered on it, window ledge was dusty dirty. Lamp shades were dirty with big dust bunnies on them. Beds were sandy/grainy.

On hotels.com it says they will give you an early check in for a fee if rooms are available , however when I asked the front desk clerk I was told they don’t do early check in and the soonest I would be able to check in would be 3pm. They shouldn’t advertise early check in if they aren’t going to accommodate

We had arrived a few minutes early for our reservation as normal for our family- however, the hotel staff seemed frustrated with our party as a result. When I asked if the attendant was ok she finally and reluctantly cracked a smile. The staff seemed genuinely not happy.

When we arrived shortly after 4:00 to check-in there was a long line of other guest trying to check-in as well and only 1 person working the desk. There seemed to be something going on with the air conditioner as well that the front desk person was trying to deal with in addition to all of the guests arriving at one time. We left and came back at a later time to allow for an easier check-in process. The room was nice, beds were comfortable, and the ac was nice and cool in our room. I liked that we had a refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. I would stay here again while visiting Galveston.

The front staff was not helpful at all. The place itself is dirty and we had people next-door to us that played music so loud it shook our walls and did that multiple times through the night and the staff was just like we’ll get to it when we can.

Ok 1st elevator malfunctioned. Only 3 floors i was on 2 and took forever to come. People inside said they could not get to 3rd floor. I got in later on 2 to 1 but went to basement 3rd then 1. Lady also said door to stairs would not open. Last before check out this morning the breakfast was scrambled eggs 2 pans of scrambled eggs and no meats or you could have waffles. The prepper even looked like she was proud of what was on the counter for breakfast.

I rate the condition of the hotel poorly bc it needs anLOT of work. It need someone all day cleaning as there is 1 elevator for 3 floors of rooms. The elevator was disgusting. The pool was decent. Room needed a lot of work, smelled of mildew, closet was broken, and would not open. Bathroom shampoo dispenser was broken, fridge was rusted, pillows were old and flat, mattresses were uncomfortable, and walls were bubbling and peeling paint. Sounded like someone was pounding on walls in the middle of the night or throwing shoes. Balcony hand rail was worrisome. We didnt try the pool as it is small and was over crowded. Breakfast nook was crowded, but was ok. The beach is across the street so I am sure some of the rooms get beach views. The hotel itself smelled of covered up mildew with bad carpet.
