My truck was stolen from this property.. I paid extra for the gated secure parking.. which had no cameras in the parking lot facing none of the cars.. no security guards or cameras even though it says it has .. the staff was not helpful at all .. never offered to help get me a ride .. I had surgery that morning at 7 and had no way of getting there.. they have a shuttle but nobody there to drive it .. basically I was on my own.. the manager doesn’t get there until after 10 each morning and she was no help when she got there.. would not let us see the one camera they do have that faces the exit .. not helpful at all .. said we need to call police but needed to wait until manager was there.. not what I expected at all being on the side of town we were in .. very disappointed

When we arrived, we were “surprised “ and not in a good way, with an $80 deposit and also $29 per day parking charges! Also, we just went to Houston for a relaxing by the pool getaway and were really disappointed by the dirty pool, which we did not use because of that. The morning breakfasts were a nice perk which included a nice coffee bar with iced fresh lemon water. Overall, our stay was okay. Next time, we will stay somewhere with a few more amenities like room service, a clean pool, no hidden charges, and a bar/restaurant on site.

This room was not how I expected . Smelled like roaches and bleach would not recommend. When I arrived my room was already opened didn’t even have to use the key. I asked for a refund and they refuse to give a refund. You do have to pay $29 for parking not even worth it. Bed was hard. Definitely not what I expected for that money spent.

Staff was great. However, as I was walking to the halls, I noticed the carpet was dirty and dirt accumulated in Corners. Got into my room and bathroom door had a big portion of it where the paint was gone and exposed wood carpet was dirty and sticky in there as well. Had a funky smell.

Everything about the property was great except for our room. It had a VERY musty smell and the wall by the shower was visibly moldy with wallpaper placed over it. One of my kids has a mold allergy and was sneezy and sniffly all night.

Ac in room damaged, carpet nasty in halls and room, bathroom door severely damaged …looked like pet damage. The internet would NOT stay connected. Not staying again….it’s gone downhill in past several years and this was our go-to location due to gated parking.

I arrived so tired that I did't have the energy to move, but my room was filthy! Those cleaning people DO NOT change the sheets nor pillowcases. I found blood on one of the pillowcases and little black things on fitted sheet. It's a good thing I bring my own sheets, but that was nasty! I also saw mud on the floor in between the beds. The room had an overall dingy feeling to it. The only good thing was the updated shower stall. Water pressure was hideous, but at least it was updated. Breakfast was a zero. No bacon was left, and three pancakes. Everything was picked over. Oh, and let's not forget the surprising $25 charge to park your car in the hotel lot, which makes NO SENSE. No other Hampton Inn location ever charges for parking.

Dirty carpets in the hallways. Indifferent clerks behind the counter. Scratches and unkept furniture. Slow WiFi. Pillows were not very good at all. The best thing was the breakfast. Good value.

Room was nice and clean. There was a concerning sizes gap in the door and tons of light and noise came into the room. Also, the parking lot was littered with broken glass and much of it was vehicle window glass. Sadly, there was a car with a freshly broken window when I arrived. Not what I expected for the cost of the room and the area.

Stayed here for a night and was pleased. The gentleman working the front desk was very personable and friendly. The was nice and cool when we walked in and the bed was comfortable. Don’t let the pillows fool you when you first see them though. They were not comfortable at all. I was expecting some sort of support from them but once you laid your head on them they sank all the way down. I guess that why there was about five pillows per bed, to give you some sort of comfort. Overall, the place was a decent place to stay. I’d probably stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel in Houston during a business trip, and while the rooms were decent and the cleaning staff was friendly and attentive, the front desk experience left much to be desired. Unfortunately, their service was unorganized, unhelpful, and moody, which made my stay far more stressful than it needed to be. During my trip, the city of Houston was essentially shut down due to an unprecedented 6 inches of snow, forcing the airport to close. I had to extend my stay on a daily basis while waiting for flights to resume. When I finally secured a flight for the following morning and attempted to cancel my reservation for the upcoming night, I was met with a flat-out refusal from the front desk. While I understand the existence of “rules and regulations,” extraordinary situations like this require a level of courtesy and understanding. Instead, I was charged for an entire additional night despite clearly explaining that I would not be staying. This rigid and greedy approach left a bad taste in my mouth, especially considering the extenuating circumstances. A little flexibility and empathy from the front desk would have gone a long way. Until this hotel addresses its front desk issues and prioritizes customer service, I cannot recommend it to other travelers, particularly during unpredictable situations.

We arrived at 4 pm an hour after check in begins and got the key to our room, to find it hadn’t been cleaned we told the front desk who offered us 2 smaller rooms then the one we had originally purchased. So we declined and had to wait half an hour till the room was cleaned making us late for our dinner reservations. There were no refunds offered or complementary anything.

When I arrived, with a reservation, they said all room were full. I showed them my reservation thru Hotels.com and was told they don't have to honor 3rd party reservations. Both front desk employees were very unfriendly. A tfirst they thought someone else had checked in under my name, so I waited and waited and waited while they looked in the computer and tried to figure it out. The guy (with dreadlocks) finally said he would go see if he could find me a room. After waiting even longer, he said he could put me in a room with 2 double beds, even though my reservation was for a king bed. Never once did they apologize to me for the long wait or act like it mattered to them if I had a room or not. Once I got into the room, there was hair all on the shower seat. While waiting for 30 mts for my room, they received several phone calls from hotel guests, requesting service. The lady working the front desk would curtly reply to the hotel guest, hang up the phone, and then out loud make a rude comment. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Rude front desk male staff. They leave hot water and coffee out at a station but they do not maintain the hot water and coffee and do not replace the 6 tea bags and 3 hot chocolate packs that are placed out in the morning. When I asked for a teabag the front desk man said “no, not until morning”. I asked then why is this stuff out? Hand sanitizing stations were NEVER filled. My toilet was clogged and front desk man told me I can come down and get a plunger. I thought he was joking. He wasn’t. I used the lobby bathroom throughout the night bc there IS NO MAINTENANCE ON SITE and he said “plunging toilets is beyond my job scope.” The next morning the hotel manager unclogged the toilet and said “it’s not uncommon for guests to plunge their own toilets”… never in my 20 years of traveling have I encountered or heard such nonsense. Why would a paying guest unclog a toilet? The property is old with peeling wallpaper and outdated yellowing furniture. Stay somewhere else… trust me.

This hotel was awesome. The staff was super friendly and accommodating when we had some delays/issues with our airline. Anything we asked they assisted with. The location is great, close to the Galleria mall without feeling overly crowded. Breakfast was hot and tasty every morning. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The staff was very friendly, the overall hotel was very clean and stayed clean, and they had a really good breakfast. I had a late check in and they took good care of me and responding when I let them know when I’d be arriving, I’ll definitely tell ithers.

Quick 1-day trip. Hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was really good, easy parking and quiet location. Across the highway from the Galleria (I don't recommend trying to walk there). Nothing to complain about, will return if I'm in the area again.

Two mornings in a row eggs were not offered as part of the breakfast buffet. If the price of eggs is the problem, then add a surcharge, but to me, a full breakfast ALWAYS includes eggs. The full breakfast was one of the reasons I chose Hampton Inn. The very small fitness center had only one workout bench, with loose screws, which made it very unstable and dangerous to use. This is a potential injury and lawsuit waiting to happen.

Breakfast ran out fast and all we were going to get was left which was scraps and it looked like there were short staff. We couldn’t get waffles because the line was long since they was nothing else. The room looks like it needs remodeling and the bathroom door was all scrapes missing part of it. Walls look old. The bathroom sink faucet didn’t have the color code for hot and cold and burned my hand when I opened it.
