I got an email after the "availability" to cancel saying that the restaurant was closed so there'd be no breakfast offered. They were remodeling in several areas. The pool and indoor spa were also closed. The floor I was on had a horrible smell in the hallway. The room itself was nice, but I gagged in the hallway.

The rooms smelled like urine. The bathroom looked like rotten wood trim that was just painted over and not fixed along them bottom. The indoor pool area was closed for remodeling but wasn’t indicated on anything, that was a reason we picked this one close to the venue we needed by.

Renovations are in process therefore no amenities are available. They do not tell you beforehand. Pool is green, Place is a disaster

During the check in I was told that the bar/dining area would be closed indefinitely along with the breakfast, gym and pools. Some of the buttons on the elevators were broken causing it to malfunction at times and take us to the wrong floor and or just not take us anywhere at all resulting in using the stairs (we were on the 4th floor and the stairs have zero A/C). Although I knew they weren’t included I think all rooms should have a fridge and microwave especially since there was no breakfast provided or any free drinks resulting in having to pay for the vending machine. There also was a panel in the shower that was broken and was popped out of place. Also I think there should be a small safe to put valuables in like firearms, jewelry, money, IDs, etc. Only things that were good were the staffs friendliness, check in and check out.

Didn’t like having only 1 channel on TV, Pool not working ( not noted on website) front desk employee doesn’t like when you ask questions!!!!!!! also prepaid fo breakfast, no breakfast!!’nnn

The hotel did not have running water which was not their fault. However, this was not communicated far ahead of check in. There was no hot water running through the taps throughout my overnight stay. The hotel put me in a room without a fridge or microwave. Had to request that they move me to another room. I paid $7 for breakfast which was not provided. The standard I expected of a holiday Inn was not kept. Elevators were untidy and in a state of disrepair with wires hanging out of the elevator walls. This hotel should do better.

Honestly I will never stay there again. They turn the water off for a whole day . Me and my 1yr old didn’t have water until Sunday morning. They messed up on my room so I had to wait until Saturday to get a new room. I honestly just want my money back to my card are another stay at a better hotel.

The hotel was horrible. The worst I’ve ever stayed at in Houston. I travel Often and have never experienced such a horrible hotel the AC was not working neither was the restaurant or the spa, like it is announced in the post. There was no breakfast. Staff was rude and when I’d bring up things they’d say they couldn’t help. Elevator all busted, and super hot since there was no ac. The hallways were extremely hot. The ac in the room didn’t work and neither did the blow dryer. Musty smell and moldy rooms. Gross

This hotel is un renovation. There is no indoor pool and no breakfast. We were disappointed since the weather was cold and kids were not able to enjoy indoor pool and no breakfast in the morning.

The experience while staying here was unbelievable. The hotel was in no condition to be open and I was not notified of it being in the middle of renovations. When we arrived the hotel looked deserted. The room had bugs, the water from the shower had to be ran for 10 minutes because it was black. There was a hole in the wall where the bathroom vent should be and the chair in the room was broken. Didn’t know until I fell out of it!! Refund you say? I couldn’t get one because I didn’t book with the hotel directly! I was stuck, disappointed and scared!

Not clean there smoke smile in side the room

I checked out from this hotel in 1 hour. I wanted it to shower, but the water didn't work. It had a horrible smell in the room. AC in the room wasn't cooling properly. The lobby was very, very HOT. It seemed like the AC wasn't working. Very bad experience.

We had a bad experience at this location. Carpet smelled. Hooks in the bathroom were falling off. Bathroom Door would not lock.

Dirty sheet, noisy ac

Nasty!!! There was a dirtyyyy sex toy on the floor of our room. The pillows had stains on them. Shower curtain was ripped and hanging. The phone in the room kept making noises while trying to sleep. Do notttt recommend this hotel.

The old man at the front counter was very rude I had no hot water literally had to sit there and wait a hour for it to get like warm and there was a lot of bed bugs I had to leave to a different hotel very inconvenient

This is one of the first times I have used Expedia points for a booking so I was mostly focused on the price point. Normally I shop based on reviews and for some reason I did not this time. But I figured with a Holiday Inn it shouldn't be bad. I've never been to a bad Holiday Inn. That was a HUGE mistake on my part. Pulling up,the outside is sketchy as heck. When I got to the counter they said it would be a $100 deposit per stay per night. For a crappy hotel? Ok whatever it's a deposit, I'll get the money back. Thankfully I had just enough in my account (hence why I was using points to book). I would have never booked that if I had seen that. The guy that checked me in didn't even put all of my info in right (found this out when getting a receipt the next day), and I could barely understand him. The plexy glass at the counter did not help. When I got to my room it SMELLED SO BAD! The room was musty and damp. Being pregnant I thought I was going to throw up and it gave me a headache. By the morning my sinuses were so gunked up I was practically choking. Because of the dampness, the carpets were damp to the point where it soaked through my socks. Even the tile in the bathroom is was damp and sticky. The air unit was set at 68 and it wouldn't get down past 73. So it was not comfortable to sleep in. Also, due to the moisture, there was mold growing in the bathroom pictures. There was no breakfast available, they said there would only be coffee, I didn't even see that come

The room itself was adequate. Clean and comfortable no frills. No microwave or fridge. What could be improved is the front desk clerk. He didn’t seem to care much about being there. Was there at 2;45 and would not start the check-in process until 3pm. I came back at 3pm to a line where a man was waiting frustrated about the check-in process taking forever. Attitude towards customer was just bad. I’ll pass on this Hote next time we’re in town.

There's a wibdow between you and the rep. They were courteous. The room was badly remodeled. The carpet going to the room waa dirty. Sone of the appliances didn't w8rk. The window ac waa tore up at the bottom . The water waa luke warm at best and the caulking wasn't the best

Not crowded. Friendly staff.

Staff was very professional and patience. They provide excellent directions for area shopping and return to airport.

Poor communication by evening staff at check in and morning staff at checkout. Website offered breakfast but we were told that the restaurant had been closed for two years. Very disappointing.

There was a power outage in the hotel which caused me to wake up. I went downstairs to enquire, got back in the elevator and the got stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes. The alarm inside the elevator did not work. Thank God i had my phone and I was able to call the fire department. The staff were apologetic but did not offer me any upgrade and i was told i was only going to get refunded for one night. This is unacceptable.

Guy at front desk was unfriendly and gave me a hard time when checking in. There was no hot water and faucet un tub was broken. Overall horrible experience.

To begin that area is not safe is not in Sugar Land that property is not in Sugar land at all. When I booked I did it cause it said Sugar Land when I saw the address and I looked up the area saw where it was I try cancelling with Travelocity but it was not refundable. So I continue to the property. Lobby looks like a city County jail house is hot they don’t have A/c in the lobby no A/C in the elevators I really was very disappointed but ohhhh well. All I can say is that the photographer who took that picture of that out side of that picture Travelocity post is a really good photographer.

Don’t be fooled. This Hotel is not in Sugarland. The location is not a safe area. The inside is dirty, the front desk is enclosed by bullet proof glass. I left and stayed somewhere else!

Roaches was in room .Paid for breakfast could not receive because of remodeling going on..Didn't find out until I arrived at the property. .

Hotel misrepresented about breakfast inclusivity. Hotel rep notified that they discontinued offering breakfast a while back. Hotel even charged extra for this services.
