What a great find! We were as close to the ocean as allowed with the buffer areas. We were able to view and listen to the ocean and we were on the road to the beach. It was amazing that you could drive on the beach for miles in both directions! They had a nice pool and a very good included breakfast. There is a lookout above the top floor with an old time viewing scope (free for use) and an outside walkway for 360 degree views! You were a block from the entrance to Ocean Shores drive so restaurants were close. Our room had a regular bathroom and a jacuzzi as well! We will come back again and recommend it to any of our friends coming to Washington for fun and leisure. Other places were set back further

The hotel is in a very convenient place at the beginning of ocean shores. It's nice and quiet there. The hotel is away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown ocean shores. The hotel is one of the least expensive hotels at Ocean shores. I'm guessing the reason for this is because things like the hot tub does not work, one of the doors to get into the hotel had a note on it saying you had to pull the doors apart and push them together when entering. The doors are supposed to be automatic. The elevator was broken and after making our way through the Maze of the hotel from that end we finally found the elevator we needed. There was only one ice machine that worked for all four floors, and that machine was empty most of the time. This place needs a lot of help and is starting to look ran down despite the new coat of paint thrown on the walls. But if you don't care about Aesthetics it is nice for the pocketbook and quiet.

Great staff, super nice rooms. Clean with good amenities. Only concern is timeline for fitness center and pool hours. My opinion 6am fitness center and 8 am pool hours to open. However, I will be back.

We stayed here as a layover for our next destination and thank goodness it was just for one night. Our room was dirty and outdated. The bathroom was gross; rusty tub and not sure if the tile had black caulk or it was mold or a mix of both. The uncertainty was enough for all of us to not even use the shower. We also did not use the cover or blankets on the bed because honestly we did not feel comfortable in the cleanliness. The water pressure was low in the sinks. The ceiling fan was so dusty that we were afraid that if it was turned on, dust would be flying everywhere in the room. The back sliding door leading out to the dunes also did not lock properly and there was dirt and mold in the doors. The only pro was that the room size was big. But the overall dirtiness, lack of cleanliness and grossness outweigh it all. The Inn has great potential with its easy access to the beach but the lack of cleanliness needs to be addressed.

Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly. Once we got to our room, we unpacked and got ready for the night. The first thing we noticed was the door would not fully close unless you pulled rather hard and slam it closed. Creating a loud noise. *When I would leave to let our pup out early, the noise from the door would wake her.* Once we got back from our night out we decided to use the jetted tub. Which was a very bad decision. The tub was very dirty and the jets shot out brown foam and mucus from previous stays. Being absolutely disgusted, we took a shower. And that tub would not drain. Needless to say, our amazing night out turned into a frustrating stay in.

We stayed on the first floor, no view of the ocean, but ocean was a couple of minutes away. Everything was in working condition, plenty of supplies, and very clean. Excellent breakfast was included, plus coffee, tea, and juices available 24 hours a day. We also enjoyed some pool time and sauna. Maybe it would appear not super fancy to ours, but we really liked it, I would absolutely stay there again.

Great location. Rooms had electric fireplace but does not throw out any heat. There was no light to see in the living room to play games. Gary at the front desk was great. However, the hotel rooms and common areas were dirty. The floors/carpet were very dirty. Carpet needed to be cleaned and every other area needed to be vacuumed-badly! In our room there was crumbs/a dirty sock and candy wrappers on the floor by the bed from previous guests.

The setting is beautiful with easy access to the beach and ocean views. The person managing the morning breakfast set-up was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The public areas were neat and clean but the ice machine on our floor was out of order, and so was the hotel's hot tub. After looking at other reviews, apparently that has been the case for several months. We were traveling with another couple and at check-in asked if we could be assigned rooms on the same floor, but we were told that rooms were already assigned and couldn't be changed because we had booked the room through a third party. We were told if we had booked directly with the hotel, they could have changed the rooms, which makes no sense, but that was the only explanation we were given. The room was large and comfortable, but there were housekeeping and maintenance issues, such as burnt-out lightbulbs, and the ceiling fan was filthy. If you like soft, clean towels, this is absolutely not the hotel for you. The towels were horrible. They were small, dingy, and as rough as sandpaper. We won't stay at this hotel in the future because of the attitude at check-in regarding booking the room through Experian.

We walked in and I needed to use the bathroom And I asked and she was going to tell me no until I said we were checking in. We stayed in a corner King room on the 4th floor and had fantastic view of the ocean dunes, beach, and waves! The deck was large enough for 2 people to use the supplied chairs and watch the waves. The room was spacious with a kitchen bar that include a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. The bar top separated the bedroom area from the living room area. In the Livingroom there was a hide-a-bed.

--Fantastic view of the ocean! --No A/C in the rooms, so windows have to be open, which means a lot of noise. --The room I was in (303) was out of range of both the hotel's wifi and any cell towers... --Standard hotel breakfast fare, but the entire buffet is lined up on one wall, so a massive line forms. Staff desperately need to move the waffle maker and toaster away from the buffet.

I give this property a 8 out of 10. I would give this property the 8 rating because of the location. It’s right next to and in walking distance of the beach (like a 2 minute walk). The property was clean and we felt safe staying here. The reason it doesn’t get a 10 is because the wifi connection was intermittent (they did notify us of this so props to them for that but still a minor inconvenience). Another reason it gets an 8 from us is due to their construction and elevator issues. A good portion of the property is under minor construction and we personally were one ride away from potentially getting stuck in the elevator. The door malfunctioned on the elevator trip right before we were about to get on. We are pretty sure everyone was able to get off just fine but hearing a loud pop behind an elevator door is not comforting. We took the stairs for the remainder of our stay. The property over all needs some updating as the elevators look old and outdated. Still a comfortable stay and would recommend if you are laid back like we are and not worried about being inconvenienced by stairs.

I loved my stay at Lighthouse Suites Inn! The room was spacious and well-furnished, very clean. The balcony with ocean view was incredible. Friendly and quick front desk service. Very quick walk to the beach. Short drive to dining and shops. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was great, big, ocean view and jacuzzi tub was awesome. What I didn't like was the bed. To me that is the most important. If you don't go to sleep because your body hurts because its so hard that just ruins the room. I mentioned this to the front desk. She basically said you can't please everyone. Which is true but I like a softer bed and my husband likes a firmer bed but even he couldn't sleep. We ended up buying a pillow top cover from walmart because we still had 1 more night and that helped. Breakfast was better than some places with the choices.

Great stay! Alyce at the front desk was extremely accommodating and a breeze to check in with. Breakfast is excellent- eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, plus bagels cereal oatmeal and a waffle station! Clean and well stocked, we appreciated free coffee tea and hot chocolate 24/7! It’s an older building with minor issues, but the location and views can’t be beat. Direct beach access, and a pool with a nice sauna. Have stayed before and will stay again!

The manager I spoke with was rude and zero help and pretty much told me I was out of luck that my funds were being held twice and it wasn't their fault.

The least amount of walking from hotel to the beach!!!!!!!!!! We loved the hot fresh breakfast with continental. Very easy to toilet your dogs & provides bags as well. Mike’s Seafood is close & the best food I found there. The lighthouse is great for sunset pictures.

This hotel was an EXCELLENT value for our money. We have been going to Ocean Shores for many years and stayed at a variety of hotels and condos, and this one is now our favorite! Our room was very large, we loved the pool and sauna, but I think our favorite thing had to be the incredible free breakfast! Eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, bagels, fruit, etc. We will be coimng back here next year.

It was an easy walk to the beach and the view from the room couldn't have been better. However, the provided breakfast was mediocre and not replenished sufficiently. We were further frustrated by the lack of an internet connection. According to one staff person, one of the owners had disconnected the internet connection to the hotel.

Great stay! Alyce at the front desk was extremely accommodating and a breeze to check in with. We booked and paid for a family room with 2 sets of bunk beds and a king, which I confirmed by phone and at check in. We arrived to our room with 2king beds. I felt it wasn’t worth complaining as I had confirmed it before heading up got to breakfast the next morning, no waffles as told would be part of the breakfast. The next morning we came to the breakfast 20 minutes before closing. No waffles again and virtually no warm breakfast items. Very frustrating and we’ve been there several times over the years and it’s been great. This time we relied on both having the room we booked (with 3 young grandchildren) and the breakfast we were told we would have available between 6-9am. None of those things happened. I’m sad to have had this experience as it will force me to book somewhere else.

Very nice hotel with a very reasonable price. Rooms were very spacious and the ocean view from the balcony was amazing! Very friendly staff, made you feel that you were really appreciated for staying at their hotel. We will definitely be staying here again at our next visit to Ocean Shores. The free breakfast was more than we expected.
