The girls at check in were awesome, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. They are renovating the food service area so only a light breakfast was served

Unfortunately we were informed AFTER booking that the pool was closed. Then we were informed that the breakfast was only grab and go during our stay because of some things going on in the hotel. Now, a continental breakfast isn’t always a big deal, but we were in town for a soccer tournament with our kids and we only chose this hotel because of the immensities that would help us keep the day going and give the kids a little break. It would have been much better to be told upfront about the features being unusable or changed because we would have chosen another place for our stay. We ended up with all the struggles we were trying to avoid. It was obvious that when the hotel is fully operational,it would be a great place to stay. But when someone reads the reviews and a place is rated for great family lodging, there should be communication before money is exchanged so the hotel guests know what is available and what will make the stay beneficial or not. Catching emails an hour before we checked in was not helpful at all.

It was a good stay. I reserved this hotel for the hot breakfast but there wasn’t any due to remodeling. However, they did provide good options for grab to go. Our room didn’t get cleaned the first night until we called and complained. Overall it was good stay.

Trash strewn around the parking lot and front property did not give an good first impression. Fortunately it did not reflect the cleanliness inside. The previous reviews were spot on in regards to the cleanliness of the facility. My room was very comfortable, clean and astetically pleasing. The mini kitchenette was a nice suprise. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee and sink. The evening and afternoon staff were chearful and helpful, morning staff tended to be grumpy and rude. I was told at checkin the pool would be open the following day, well, that did not happen as they were replacing flooring in front of the elevators and in the hallway. Made it very difficult to get to our rooms. At one point I had to go through the kitchen. I realize on going maintenance is import and that is obvious in the facility. The timing was bad for my stay. I would stay there again.

The person that I first encounter was not helpful at all at first. The lobby rest room was under construction, so no restroom for the weary traveler.
