Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle/Renton

Loved the location and glimpse of the lake from our balcony. The 5th floor deck is a great place to relax. The staff was very helpful.

I was very impressed during my stay. The staff is exceptional, very kind and attentive. The rooms are spacious, very nice and clean, in addition to the beds being super comfortable! The rooftop deck is a definite bonus and so beautiful!

First time I've had to pay to park at a hotel! With so many options, no need to go back. On top of that the indoor pool is closed pretty much all winter and my widow looked over the top of a dumpster. It's a pass foe me.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Made impromptu reservations Saturday afternoon for a Saturday night stay specifically to take my 5 year old swimming in an indoor pool as a special treat. We had stayed previously and she enjoyed swimming. When we arrived to check in we were told the pool was closed unexpectedly. I told the Danny the front desk supervisor that the only reason we were staying was to swim and we would like a refund as my 5 year old would be very disappointed. She said she was not interested in providing a refund and it was my responsibility to do research in advance to see if the pool would be open before booking. I told her I booked on Expedia and I saw nothing about the pool being closed. She said too bad, I should have gone to their website and done research and it was not their problem and she would do nothing to accommodate my inconvenience as it was not her issue. We left and stayed across the street at Hyatt Regency where we received exceptional customer service and a complimentary upgrade to a nicer room with a view and soaking tub as the front desk person was appalled by how we had been treated at Hampton Inn and wanted to try to make up for it for my 5 year old. Will never patronize this a Hampton Inn again. Would expect more from a hospitality company. Hampton you need to do some training with your staff around exceptions in situations like this to retain customers in the long term.

My suite was really spacious and clean; The shower was nice and hot; the bed was a bit too soft for my comfort level; both the pool and gym room looked good although I didn’t use them (I wish the pool was available during earlier and later hours. It was a good size and looked like it would be great for doing laps but was not open during the hours that I could use it go as I was there for a conference); the breakfast was basic free hotel buffet food.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. Room was nice, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and engaging. I believe it was the manager on duty and contacted me via text. She offered her assistance and made herself available to help. I appreciated having access to someone who I could contact, knowing that made for a very nice stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful too. Hotel was quiet, offered a nice breakfast, had a pool, and an exercise room. They also had a washer and dryer to use, which I took advantage of. They also offered covered secure parking. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel checked all the boxes. Gym, pool, free breakfast. The best part was the gentleman at reception. He was so nice and friendly and really cared about his job. I would stay here again!

Had a great time, pool needs to stay open longer but was clean and heated. Breakfast was very tasty!!!

The parking spots in the garage are very small due to being “compact”. All the cars we saw were mostly SUVs that ended up taking two spots, so there was not a lot of spots left for parking.

Rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. Hotel is very clean. Loved the breakfast. Staff was very nice and kept everything clean. I would definitely come back.

The rooms and property are very clean

Very tight parking. My room carpet was sticky. Went barefoot and my feet stuck to the csrpet. Was pretty gross. The sliding door to bathroom was scratched up and would come off the roller multiple times.

For a suite room were too small. All so had to change rooms because of ants.

We have stayed here several times and have always been happy staying here. This visit our bathroom wasn’t very clean. Other than that we are happy with our room.

Some areas of the hotel were dirty, including the dining area and the floors in and around the elevators. Additionally, the rooms are not well insulated and could hear every single conversation and inappropriate behaviors from other guests, which impedes sleep. This hotel also needs to upgrade their laundry facilities - having only one washer and dryer that is operated by quarters is antiquated.

Had sugar ants in my bathroom but having lived with them I know how hard they are to control. When I mentioned it to the front desk they offered to move me to another room without hesitation and were very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was spacious, reasonably quiet, and excellent made service. However, the bathroom door would not stay shut and the bathtub was slippery for a shower.

Nice enough room, great kitchenette. Bed was good Just noise from above from people walking very early, and unfortunately we were next to the laundry room... Heard the laundry starting at 6 a.m.. Not cool..

The hotel was ok. Rooms were nice but there was a lot of noise in the halls and the room above us. I ways hate being surprised with parking fees $15/day.

We were on a quiet area away from loud noise.

The staff was awesome and friendly, the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The complementary breakfast was great. The parking is located next to the hotel in a secure area.

Loved the hot breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Did not like the design of the bathroom door bc it left open gaps when "closed" prevented us from having privacy when in use. Bed covers were dirty and there was a light bulb off in one of the lamps.

Bathroom doors are horrible

I did not like anything about this stay. I had 2 rooms that were supposed to be "partial lake views" which I was fine with but we were put in rooms with views of the parking garage gate and the lobby. Our rooms were both handy capped rooms with amenities to match. Both of the bathroom doors were barn style that did not latch and barley covered the opening with zero privacy. They charged an additional $100 deposit per room after I put my cc on file. I was not provided a receipt of the transaction when I paid the deposit or when I checked out after I asked repeatedly. I checked out on the 15th of March and I have still not received my deposits back. I called the hotel several times and all the would tell me was to call my bank, which I did on the 21st, and they demanded to know when I called if I did at all. Then they told me to tell my bank to call them so they could generate a letter to my bank saying the funds have been released. They would not let me talk to anybody higher than an assistant manager. Would not provide me with a supervisor or any cooperate contact. Bottom line was customer service was horrible, rooms were gross and not appropriate for our stay. Not to mention we had to pay for parking at the hotel we were staying which is a first for me. When I asked them why we had to pay to park at the place where we were staying they said that every hotel charges for parking which is untrue. I will never stay at another Hampton or Hilton and will not recommend them?

I stay here frequently for work and the staff is so helpful and courteous. When I arrive they know my name, when I need something they help me with it, and there is always a smile and greeting when coming and going. Theo, Matt and Danny are great. I don't get to meet the people who clean my room but it is always kept clean well stocked and cozy...I appreciate them too.

Check-in was smooth and our room was clean. We were informed at checkin that the hotel had experienced a 4-hour power outage earlier in the day. I gave it a few hours and attempted to run the shower and was unsuccessful in getting hot water. I called the front desk and they instructed me to let it run for 5-10 minutes. We recieved a letter in the morning informing us that hot water will not be available. I called the front desk to see if any accomodations were available given the circumstance, such as a small amount of hot water from the kitchen so that our family could take a sponge bath. The staff ingormed me that this was not possible. Clearly, this was beyond the control of the staff. However, their lack of any attempt to make it right left me with some bitterness.

The staff was great, so helpful. We were stuck in Seattle for 3 days due flights being cancelled. They could not be more accommodating to us. If you’re in Renton stay here!

Wonderful location close to Gene Coulon Park

Clean, close to the airport and centrally located. It’s in a somewhat industrial area but it was nice and close to everything we needed!

Quiet and clean for an overnight stop over. I had a car rental and it was fine but may be tricky for someone who needs public transportation.

Great location, clean room, staff was great and the hot water was exceptional. Parking garage is a little tight as is the loading area.

Was a terrific 4 night stay. This property is close to dining, shopping, and a terrific lake side park fo a walk (exercise!). Clean and comfortable, and easy freeway access.

Clean facility. Friendly staff and it was in walking distance (about 0.5 miles) from The Landing Shopping Mall. The Landing has food places and a cinema entertainment. Gene Coulon Park was across the road from the hotel and it was beautiful. Right on Lake Washington it offered a beach area, playground and picnic areas a gorgeous view and a couple of dining areas near the boat launch area.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. I was really impressed with how impeccably clean the entire hotel was and the fitness center was great as well! The quality of the meat used during breakfast should be higher quality.

Comfortable stay and clean which are the priorities, the breakfast is a little unimaginative and could do with a wider selection of cooked foods.

My daughter and I enjoyed every moment at the property. The staff greeted us at every entrance and the property was peacful, clean and the rooms were well done and the beds and linens extremly comfortable. We enjoyed staying on the 5th floor and sitting on the rooftop balcony in the morning and evenings. The morning breakfast was impecable. The selection was great! I will definately return and recommend my family and friends to stay at the Hampton Inn Suites Seattle / Renton Location. Thank you for making our visit to Seattle a wonderful experience

Convenient for our day trip to Mt. Rainier. The room and bathroom were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was good, with lots of options.

Breakfast was delicious.

Really friendly and welcoming staff. The room was comfortable but the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest (toenail clippings behind the toilet :( ). I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast in that you had paper plates and plastic cutlery!

Staff is great. Breakfast is a little noisy & congested with all the kids sports teams but it a go-to place.
