La Quinta by Wyndham Spokane Valley

This is one of my favorite stops! Everything is super clean, updated, and I love all the little details that come together to make my stay so easy. The gym is outstanding (and nice and cool), the breakfasts are top notch, the pool and hot tub are a great option, and the conveniences available are thoughtful.

disappointed the pool area was closed and no ice machine on our floor but otherwise room was clean and breakfast was good.

The staff was exceptional, the rooms were ckean and spacious. The breakfast could have used more protein options. The pool was great but the jets in hot tub were non functioning. We were in town to celebrate 4 birthday's and this location was great.

The price was out of line for the age and shape of the hotel. The hot tub was dirty. We were very disappointed. Would NOT stay here again.

Stay was very pleasant, rooms where clean and air conditioning was great. Breakfast was very pleasant and gym was awesome. Didn't make it to indoor pool but looked very inviting. The only downside was parking was quite small in front but receptionist said to park in back and I found that better.

Clean comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly. tgere is a huge pothole right in middlebof parking lot that needs filled.

So many features available: pool, exercise room and equipment, laundry facilities, comfortable bed. Good breakfast options

Two issues I didn't care for. One, there was no password on the wifi. Anyone could access the wifi and easily see all devices using it and potentially gain personal info from those devices. Two, there is limited parking.

Well equipped gym and nice indoor pool.

I want to come back, especially when the Hot tub jets are working. Other than the Hot tub jets not working everything else was great!

Well priced. Dirty rooms with stains and smells. Once they take care of that it will be a great place.

Carpetshad big areas where dogs had urinated and the carpets were not shampooed afterwards. There was some mold on bathroom ceiling. Staff however was very nice

Second room we received (after the first we walked in on was torn apart and they were airing out a leaking mini fridge) was dirty, and even had someone else’s underwear in the room. Hot tub and pool were in terrible water condition, murky, and stinky. Overall disappointed.

Our room had bed bugs. My daughter got bits all over her legs and upper body. Asked the hotel for a refund for the full stay. They only refunded half of our stay because they needed to move us to a new room!

The check in process was extremely easy and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also yummy and offered various options including oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. The pool area was cute if a little outdated but the kids still had fun. The rooms, however, will be the reason we will not be returning. The first room we got seemed unclean. There was grimy stuff on the outside of some of the toiletries, a stain on the curtain, and a stain on the comforter. We called the front desk about the comforter (again, amazing front desk staff) and they said they would send a new one. While sitting on the bed, waiting for the new comforter, you could see a brown stain on the side of the mattress. Low and behold, there was a large stain starting on top of the mattress that appeared to flow down on the side. Kinda looked like someone got a severe bloody nose while laying down. Seriously questioned how they could miss this or ignore it and put guests in there anyways. The front desk staff were awesome and immediately put us in a new room. The new room appeared cleaner and with no bloody stains but the cleanliness still left a lot to be desired. The carpets seemed mildly damp/sticky and the room had a distinct musty-tried-to-cover-the-smell-with-scented-cleaner odor to it that gobsmacked you in the face every time you walked in. My 2 kids, girlfriend, and I decided to stay here traveling feom montana to kennewick washington to see family and we got there, everything was fone until i showered and noticed black mold on bathroom wall, brought it up to the staff and they swnt up a maintenence guy. He looked at it, realised it was moldy and rubbed the black part of it, trying to wipe it away and told us we are good to stay atill altho i requested a new room. They gave us a new room but it was the room directly below it, 321 to 221 and it smelled super disgusting. The smell made me gag. It was bad....there was no mold in this room that was visible but the mattresses were absolutely disgusting. I have pics of the mold and nasty mattresses, i'd recommend staying anywhere else.

Employees were friendly, rooms were clean and breakfast had a nice selection.

It was an average property. Nothing really stood out. I did like the late checkout of 12. The pool and hot tub were nice but small and can easily get crowded with a couple of families there my negatives would be the cleanliness. The rugs were stained and dirty shower curtains, had mold. Overall experience was OK.

Very clean, breakfast buffet well stocked, and everyone friendly

Room very dark drab. No lighting on ceiling. Bed may not have been clean sheets. Bath not clean. Did not complain. Was too tired.

An overall decent hotel. A bit dated, but good for the money.

Rooms were dimly lit. Rugs were dirty toilet ran all the time vanity area very tiny TV was 15 years old. Just not happy with the rooms for what we paid.

The hotel was ‘good’ but not great. Only stayed there for a night and it worked for that. There was a funky smell from the cleaning products in the room. EVERYTHING made noise.. the guy in the next room coughing through the paper thin walls, the car that decided to part outside our room at 6am with their base bumping, the dog barking when it’s owners went to breakfast and left it in their room, the refrigerator that squealed ALL NIGHT, the heater and endless footsteps on the wood floor (first level). I would need ear plugs if I had stayed more than one night. The breakfast was very small but I suppose it’s better than no breakfast. Bed was comfortable (on the firm side) and the water pressure in the shower was great. I’d probably stay again but ask for an upper level room to avoid the first floor noise.

My stay was was good without any major issues. The a/c unit was extremely loud, but a minor gripe considering the outside temperature was in the mid 90's.

Everything was great and I would have given 5 stars but, the wifi did not work in our room No. 210. To make matters worse, the staff member on shift upon arrival had us go thru rebooting the modem etc and it still didn’t work. Upon check out, the staff member (a different one) when I mentioned about our wifi experience said “Oh ya. It never works in 210 because of the TV interference, which we never even turned on! Sorry about that.” To knowingly assign the room without wifi service, without notification to the guest or to the other staff is quite fraudulent. Secondly, the breakfast was not maintained in that the decaf coffee was old and the sausages and eggs were out and not refreshed when there was a half an hour left of the breakfast service.

The only complaint I have is the tv in our room wasn’t working very well. Otherwise a really good stay. Love that the pool is 24/7

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Walls were thin. First night, nobody in room next to ours. Second night, you could hear the people talking next to ours.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room felt clean. Overall it was a great stay.

The Wifi did not work. We would connect but nothing would load. I called the front desk, they said they would reset it. Still no internet for 3 days. I Would not recommend this hotel till they fix that.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Kevin answered all my questions and genuinely cared about my needs.

LaQuinta is a beautiful property and we always choose LaQuinta when we travel. The hotel in Spokane Valley is wonderful and the desk clerk Michael was friendly and very professional. However, Kevin was rude and hostile when I told him that my stay had been extended. He told me I had to "get out immediately". Even after he discovered his mistake, he continued his hostile, rude behavior. We are rethinking staying at LaQuinta in the future due to Kevin's horrible treatment and extremely rude behavior. He needs to be retrained in customer service.

Staff was very friendly and courteous gave us extra towels and also when asked at breakfast for items that needed to be replenished they were quick to do so. Would stay again!

I stay at La Quinta Spokane Valley in both directions on my frequent trips to Alberta Canada as it’s familiar and I’ve always felt safe traveling alone. The front desk guy welcomed me back and remembered my last name so it’s definitely a home away from home for me. Breakfast is an added bonus and very well stocked with favorite breakfast foods for all

It was ok just the room was not ready when we checked in had to an hour and half got a little after 3 pm

I will start by saying, I realize this is a cheap hotel, I still chose to stay here because I was only staying 1 night, and they did have good reviews. First off, I think it's really gross that the beds did not have mattress protectors. The pillows are tiny and the beds were extremely uncomfortable! Right on arrival, our toilet wouldn't flush. They didnt send maintenance, or anyone to fix it, they just offered us a plunger. We aren't the ones who clogged it! The morning of check out, I received txt and email asking what time we planned to check out. I replied that we'd check out at 10:30 am. Check out time is posted as 11 am. At 9:15 a housekeeper knocked and immediately entered our room. I let that slide because I thought she probably got room #s mixed up and thought it was unoccupied. She asked what time I planned to check out, I told her 10:30. Then at 9:18 she entered my room AGAIN! If a guest is occupying a room, I think it's very rude and inappropriate for them to just enter with their key card! She should've knocked and waited. I don't think she forgot 3 MINUTES LATER! If check out is at 11, they shouldn't even be bothering guests just after 9 am. I was disappointed with this hotel stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially Shane who did our initial check in. We had an issue with the key lock on the room that we had originally booked and Shane was very quick to not only find us another room but to also upgrade us. All the while apologizing for the inconvenience. We definitely look forward to staying at this location again on our next trip to Spokane Valley.

It's easy to access but far enough from the freeway that it's quiet.

Close to the freeway, but still quiet at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient for my visits in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene.

Good location right off the highway. Easy to find shopping and dining nearby. Quick to travel to downtown Spokane and to Coeur d'Alene.

Staff was very helpful and location was very clean and nice. The only downfall was the location was in a business/industrial location- so a bit away from food places and freeway- however it was quiet during the night because of this. So I prefer the quietness…

Good property for a decent price. Area is accessible but not overly walkable as it’s mostly a business park.

Don't overlook this property just because it's in an industrial area. The location is quiet, safe and the property is well maintained. Food, shopping and such is a very short drive away. We'd definitely stay there again.

It was only 30 minute drive from Silverwood Theme Park. Plus the cost of the hotel was reasonable.

A convenient stay for our play at Power Pickleball Club. 2 mins away with a coffee shop along the way!

This was a great place to stay. Staff and service were excellent. The only reason for 4 stars regarding Area is, it's an industrial area. Not that it is bad, just not 5 stars, as if it were in the middle of a national park. Still got 4 stars in that category.

The room was a great size, but it did smell a bit funky (only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars). The breakfast was decent but the coffee kept running out.

The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and convenient. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Staff were top notch. The customer service was excellent and I will be back on my trips through.

Stayed here with my family. Hotel is clean with friendly service. Breakfast is poor though

Pleased with the hotel, staff, and location. Breakfast had many options, including eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and waffles. Ice machine did not work for a couple of days, but the hotel bought bags of ice and provided to customers upon request.

It was a great value for the price. Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast options.
