The property was close to where I needed to take care of my business so that was very convenient. The hot tub had sand in the bottom of it and the sidewalls were filthy with sludge and scum. It needs to be drained, cleaned, and renovated. The pillows were terrible. Some interest and investment needs to be put in to the pillows. For $110 per night I should have a good pillow on my bed. The comforter needs replacing as well. I may as well have just slept with a sheet. Not very comfortable.

The pool needs resurfaced for sure and there were no towels in the pool area either of the times I used it. The room was clean, I liked the tv in the bathroom, breakfast was decent, friendly staff. There were no USB plugs in the room to use a cord to charge things and overall the room and decor looked a little "tired". It was pretty spendy to be lacking in some important area's.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful inside. I couldn't believe how nice of a hotel this was for how cheap it was. The pool changes color and it looks so cool! The hot tub was actually hot as well! So the pool/hot tub area is perfect for the family. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The rooms and entire building for that matter were very clean. If you're looking to stay in WI Rapids I highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. This will be the hotel I use for future trips. They have nice outdoor areas as well that I look forward to enjoying in the warmer months.

Smallest pool ever seen in a hotel. Everything was clean, breakfast was adequate, staff pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping does not clean during your stay. I like it when they do. Pricing was fair. Beds not hard, not soft, kind of in between. Would probably stay again if I was alone instead of traveling with a child. It is a quiet location.

Very pleased with our stay; there were no issues. The pool was small but adequate. Unimpressed with the other guests, as there was a couple that shampooed their hair in the hot tub. But that is not the fault of the hotel.

I was supposed to have a king room with a pull out couch and jetted tub. There wasn’t a jetted tub. The pullout sofa was very uncomfortable. We had to close it up because the sofa itself was “better” than the pullout bed. There weren’t extra pillows for that so we had to share the flimsy pillows. It wasn’t very clean. Like the cleaning person passes a dirty towel over everything. BTW, the phone should be thrown away, is disgusting! I can’t believe how dirty it is. Also, the bed sheets had a strong chemical smell. It hurted my nose so bad i couldn’t sleep. Everything is so outdated and dirty… The only good thing was the lady serving the breakfast in the morning. She was very friendly and welcoming. She had everything clean and stalked.

We stayed in the handicapped accessible room for one night. Upon checking in the front desk clerk Amara was so super helpful and pleasant, she helped us with our luggage to the room and was so sweet to offer us some beverages she wasnt using. She gets 5 stars in our eyes! We took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi and that was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable, The handicapped accessible room was very roomy and the rool in shower with the foldable bench was excellent. My only negative comment was some of the pillow cases smelled like body odor. We didnt get up in time to take advantage of the free breakfast but we were appreciative of the free coffee still available after breakfast was over. Over all this was an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Although older, very clean property and well maintained. Remodeled bathrooms. Spacious rooms. Clean pool area, comfortable lobby. Walk to campus or restaurants. One drawback was the light from parking lot shining all night into the window as the curtains were not darkening.

Older hotel and needs some major updates. Linens were clean but visibly stained. Breakfast was adequate as was the stay but I don’t think we’ll return. Beds were not comfortable for us. Service was friendly especially at breakfast.

We had a very nice stay at Country Inn & Suites in Stevens Point. They could use an update on their decor but it was clean and they had a good breakfast with hot eggs, sausages and tater tots. We used the computer in the entrance. It would be nice to have more than one. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. They did not have enough staff to clean our room but we only stayed for 2 nights so that was fine with us.

My spouse and I were in town for the first time. We had never been to Stevens Point, and I'm grateful that this hotel is on the quieter side. Walking distance to food and groceries. Nice beds, pillows, and sheets.

I had a king suite. The couch and chair had so many stains on them and felt greasy, it made me not want to sit in them. The front desk lady was trying so hard to be helpful. She was clearly new and a bit overwhelmed with the big school group that checked in before me. The bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Again the drains on the carpet were really bad.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights two weeks ago and had a good experience so we stayed again for two nights while visiting our daughter and her family. The hotel is clean and the people at the front desk and the breakfast area are friendly. However, we won’t stay at the property again. During our first visit, we noticed at breakfast that a lot of people were going to a band camp. Apparently these kids and their families weren’t big smokers because we didn’t notice any smoke smell. But during our second stay, the hotel lobby and hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We then noticed the smoking area is right in front of the hotel and there is even a table and chairs there, right next to the front door. I don’t want to smell the smoke or to smell like smoke, so I won’t be staying there again.

Breakfast was delicious and lots of options. Love the closeness to the interstate. Easy check-in and check-out. The only negative comment is that morning cleaning staff were so loud it woke us up. We were out so late due to an athletic tournament it would have been nice to have been able to sleep in before one more game and a 5.5 hour drive home. It was like they completely forgot people were sleeping at 8:30AM that they were basically yelling about what room checked out and why someone wanted to clean instead of sitting at the front desk. Lastly, I would definitely consider purchasing outlets on the lights for the nightstand. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to literally look for an outlet to charge devices. I ended up having to pull out the nightstand and disconnect the light. Would potentially stay again but the above mentioned was pretty inconvenient considering $211/ night.

It was a great choice for my family and I while we were attending my cousin’s wedding in Rapids. The room was spaces, clean, the location was near a highway, golf course as well as a walking trail. The staff was helpful and friendly. I appreciate the outdoor seatings. We would definitely stay here again.

Very close distance to UWSP. We have a daughter that had a home track meet at UWSP. This hotel is the perfect location for visiting the college. Clean room, nice breakfast too!

We come here twice a year on our way to the U.P. We love the welcoming, helpful staff, the rooms, the walking trails nearby and the Hill Top restaurant! We can't praise The Country Inn and Suites in Stevens Point enough.

We were in town for a UWSP event and this hotel was a perfect location! Clean, safe, attentive staff, comfortable. We frequently stay at Country Inns and had just stayed at one in another state and that experience paled in comparison to this one. The breakfast at this location was immaculate, organized and very good (and I’m picky about breakfast). Will definitely stay at this location again!
