You can tell that they have been updating the property over the last few years. There were a few cosmetic fit and finish issues with missing or broken trim pieces, but the room was clean, smelled nice and more importantly, the beds were comfortable. The staff was super nice and very welcoming!

For the most part, it was fine. There were some annoyances though. The hot tub barely had any power in its jets. The internet was wonky - when I first went to sign in, it asked for my last name and room number, but when I went to fill it in, the screen changed and asked for a passcode. I couldn't find anything that told me what the passcode was. I called downstairs three times and no one answered. I finally called tech help. Then, once I was online, it kept shutting down.

It was a great place to stay while we had state trap in Nekoosa. It was not to far away only 40ish minutes. The room set up was perfect for my family with 2 adults and 5 kids. The pool was warm as was the hot tub and well taken care of (minus the tile repair at the time). My children loved the included breakfast and the "warm" option changed throughout our three mornings we were there which was nice. The only thing I would have liked differently was a room clean during our stay as with 4 kids and 2 adults it could have used a good sweep/vacuum half way through (and when the pull out sofa was opened it had not been cleaned under in a while as it was pretty gross under there) and towels as there were only two bath towels that we began with. All in all, we will definitely be back next year. Thank you

This was the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. The majority of the staff, particularly the woman who appeared in charge, were un organized and did not know what they were doing. Most of the time that we saw them they were loitering in the lobby or out smoking weed in their car which was parked in the drop off area for two days. Though they are under construction, the hallways, elevator, and rooms were not cleaned. We were initially put in a room that did have the beds made, the water to the toilet was shut off, and the door did not even latch led alone lock. We were moved to another room that was a little cleaner but again the lock did not work properly. Things such as continental breakfast, coffee, and the pool were absent or closed. If I had read the reviews on google I would have known that whomever is in charge does not and has not cared to fix any of these issues for some time.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Had to change rooms heat did not work in the first room and the tv did not work in the second room the third room was great fire alarm going off multiple times. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice - clean and big. The pool area could use some upgrades; the tile is broken around the pool edge and the hot tub. The hot tub jets didn't work, but the temperature was good. Breakfast had lots of options

We had to change rooms twice cause the first room had a strong pee odor on one of the beds and in the second room the AC unit wasn't working. The third room we were in still had all the food that the previous occupants left in the fridge plus the only trash bin was in the bathroom when the two previous rooms had wo trash bin, one in the bathroom and one under neath the desk, but we decided to stay in that room cause there was no pee smell and the AC unit worked. The receptionist was nice and apologized for any inconvenience.

Our room had ladybugs flying around the room. Which was gross and annoying. Our room was directly across from the stairs and the door is heavy and slams. The hotel was filled with kids for different sport events. Which was fine, however the noise from the door slamming was continual all thru the night. This is clearly not the hotel's fault at all, but made our stay rather rough.

Our check in was fine. The room size seemed fine; but the toilet was broken when we got there, and we told the front desk about it and they did not fix it. The bathroom sink would not drain. The breakfast food was nasty and cold. The biscuits were not edible. I asked for a ground floor room and was not accommodated. I am disabled and can not walk well. I had to walk two flights of stairs to get to our room. The beds, though comfortable did not appear to be queen size. The toilet was very low and not comfortable at all.

We were told that the rooms we booked in March were not available. They were remodeling some rooms and the person who was supposed to call us to cancel our rooms did not call any of the people affected. When we drove in the police were there calming down other people that were told the same thing as us. Your rooms have been cancelled. “You’re out of luck”. We ended up finding one room in Steven’s Point. One room $650 for 2 nights. We had to share the room with another couple who was supposed to be in the 2nd room. Roadway Inn. Of Steven’s Point is not a place I would ever stay in the future. I will share this story with everyone I can in the future. The woman at the front desk was rude and uncaring. Expedia worked for hours trying to help us. I am very thankful and proud to be a member. Thank you Expedia…. Shame on you Roadway Inn

We were moved to another room that was a little cleaner but again the lock did not work properly. Things such as continental breakfast, coffee, and the pool were absent or closed. If I had read the reviews on google I would have known that whomever is in charge does not and has not cared to fix any of these issues for some time.

Reserved 3 months prior to stay date. Hotel called us on the reserved date while we were driving to that area to tell us there was no room as they were renovating and forgot to call us. We had to scramble for a room, paid twice the price for another place. Unable to reach hotel to discuss; manager never called us. No access to owners.

When we checked in the guy at the front desk gave us a 12pm check out time. The next day we were woken up twice by someone who just walking into a room to clean it b4 noon. Didnt even knock. Lock the security latch for sure. After they left the front desk called the room and it wasnt even noon yet.

It was a great place to stay while we had state trap in Nekoosa. It was not to far away only 40ish minutes. The room set up was perfect for my family with 2 adults and 5 kids. The pool was warm as was the hot tub and well taken care of (minus the tile repair at the time). My children loved the included breakfast and the "warm" option changed throughout our three mornings we were there which was nice. The only thing I would have liked differently was a room clean during our stay as with 4 kids and 2 adults it could have used a good sweep/vacuum half way through (and when the pull out sofa was opened it had not been cleaned under in a while as it was pretty gross under there) and towels as there were only two bath towels that we began with. All in all, we will definitely be back next year. Thank you

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was weird and small details overlooked. Shower did not have soap holders and joined room did not have door stops or transition. The smaller room's bathroom was claustrophobic and would recommend a smaller sink for more room. Light switches were not working and one room was hot and the other freezing. No hot water in the shower and no water pressure. There was obvious maintenance issues and would not have paid the efor what we got. Breakfast was good and the best part of the stay

Our check in was fine. The room size seemed fine; but the toilet was broken when we got there, and we told the front desk about it and they did not fix it. The bathroom sink would not drain. The breakfast food was nasty and cold. The biscuits were not edible. I asked for a ground floor room and was not accommodated. I am disabled and can not walk well. I had to walk two flights of stairs to get to our room. The beds, though comfortable did not appear to be queen size. The toilet was very low and not comfortable at all.

You have to take this into the context that it was eight degrees below zero outside. the manager had the room set at 60 when we arrived. The heating system is a heat pump and they don't work well below zero anyway, so it took a long time to even get the room to 70. The one warm thing is the staff. They did what they could to make our stay comfortable. They extra blankets made for a good nights rest, and isn't that what we come for? The breakfast was inviting, tasty and made for a good family time. We were thankful for that. Overall our stay was a 9 out of 10, and we will return

This was the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. The majority of the staff, particularly the woman who appeared in charge, were un organized and did not know what they were doing. Most of the time that we saw them they were loitering in the lobby or out smoking weed in their car which was parked in the drop off area for two days. We needed a place to stop overnight and found this would fit our price range. A couple of hours before arriving, I called the hotel asking for a crib. The person on the phone seemed confused, like people never ask for this even though it says the hotel offers in room cribs. They told me they had one pack-n-play. I have two infants. Luckily we had one in our vehicle, but it was buried under other luggage. Upon arriving, the customer service was absolutely terrible. The person asked for my email and after telling them, they looked up and said “what?” as if I was unclear. The tone was rude. I mentioned I needed a pack-n-play. They told me they had no idea where there would be. That was the only answer I was given. No solution. They said they couldn’t call the manager unless it was an emergency. I think not having a place for my infant to sleep safely is an emergency for a paying customer. Finally, they texted the person on shift I had talked to. The pack-n-play was located. Once getting everything set up, I looked at the ceiling and saw mold, which then left me worried all night for our air quality. Would never stay here again.
