Holiday Inn Stevens Point - Convention Center by IHG

It’s hotel.com not the actual property that made my experience annoying. At check it was unclear if I paid or not, it took a hour to check in because of this. Then they charged me at check in and then again when I checked out which then put my account negative. It’s 4 days later and my accounts still negative and nothing has been accommodated because it wasn’t even the hotels fault. Even my bank could verify it was hotel.com not the hotel.

Friendly Staff, nice property

The only issue was housekeeping came to the room to clean up but we were showering and then never came back so we didn’t get fresh towels and the garbage was overflowing also because it wasn’t changed out

Enjoyed the basketball hoops in the pool and kids bunk bed options.

Overall a great stay. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were spacious. Hotel had a nice cozy atmosphere. Our visit was short but the staff we interacted with during that time were so friendly. The fitness center had a decent amount of equipment. Small but sufficient. The only somewhat negative aspect was that our bathroom had a mildew smell to it. I don’t believe it was the towels and rather something within the shower. Perhaps the curtain? It was noticeable enough that I could smell it each time I walked into the bathroom. Nothing was visibly dirty or obvious and we only stayed one night so it was manageable.
