Large open lobby with a lobby restaurant and bar. Friendly bartender. Walking distance to EVERY place we wanted to visit. Stayed on 4th floor which appeared to be newly renovated. Noon time check out allowed us to not feel rushed the next morning.

This was a nice and clean property. The room was a little on the small side and there was no sofa, but there was one chair and a desk. The AC was loud. Breakfast was not included, but they had a restaurant and bar on site. They had an urn of delicious hot apple cider in the lobby in the evenings (and maybe in the afternoon). Shops and restaurants were within walking distance.

We have stayed at this property before some years ago. Since that time, Sheraton has really upgraded the whole experience for guests. A pleasant entrance with a full bar and seating area in the background presents a welcoming tone from the beginning. The Staff, always ready to help with a friendly smile, deserves praise for attention to details.

Two days in a row House keeping failed to clean our room. Had to call the front desk for fresh towels, twice. No complimentary breakfast as you find in the Hiltons & Hyatt's. I will book other Hotels in the future. Staff was, however, excellent inside the property and helpful. Expensive property for the value given.

Overall very good - great location for walking into the town, very comfortable, and the Staff are super friendly. The only issue was that our windows were not at all clean on the outside so it made it difficult to see the view. Otherwise, would highly recommend for a visit to Portsmouth.

Our stay was quite disappointing. We were awoken in the middle of the night by a neighbor who checked into the room next to ours and proceeded to engage in a screaming phone conversation for almost two hours. On top of that our toilet paper roll holder was broken. After complaining to the concierge, we were offered a discount, however they were unable to honor it because we booked through hotels.com.

Location! Booked this full service hotel due to the location, but then, didn't need their restaurant or lounge, so many places in walking distance. Very safe area for walking, day or night. Only one negative is for the rooms, very average or lower for the amount you pay. There was only one chair in the room, and a padded bench, the water-view we requested barely showed the water. Best water view is from the restaurant. This hotel is not right on the water.

Checking in at 3pm was frustrating. Long lines of guests, and when it was our turn, our room was not yet ready. More waiting. Management should not allow so many late checkouts when they expect full house.

Checking into our room the safe was not working they told us we could change rooms and the room they gave us was a small triangler shaped room very claustrophobic, so we opted to stay in our original room took them several hours to fix safe so we lost our morning and early afternoon because of it

The room attendant appeared with the glove I left in the room, just as we we leaving the hotel..with a smile. Also, I received and email an hour later that we had left medications in the room. We will pick them up on our return trip to Portsmouth tomorrow. What fabulous staff

Very nice staff, large (King bed) comfortable and clean room which was quiet except for the person in heels walking in room above (the floors are solid surface except around the bed). Restaurant very limited in food options but the two salads they offer were very good. Very walkable--two blocks to the main downtown area which has lots of restaurants,pubs and unique shops.

My family and I were visiting the Landing School in ME and we’ve stayed at this location before. We had a lovely stay both times. The food is yummy and close to shops and attractions. Check out the Albacore submarine if you stay here!

Staff was professional and friendly, always asking if there’s anything we might need. Great waitstaff for breakfast in the small dining room. Great food and drinks! We love sitting at the bar. Will definitely be back soon.
