Proximity to the airport is excellent and you can't really hear the noise from the planes. That said, it is not possible to walk to the airport or vice versa despite it being so close. The roads are not designed for pedestrians. The hotel offers a shuttle, which only takes a few minutes to the terminals. Parking is super good at this hotel. Access to the Freeway and getting around San Jose is excellent. Although helpful, the staff need training in hospitality. Not the friendliest workers. The rooms are nice and fully appointed. Great A/C for hot days. Good bathrooms. I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again when I visit San Jose.

Property is well maintained and front desk staff was very helpful with setting up shuttle to/from airport (which is less than 5 minutes away). Courtyard facing rooms are nice and quiet. Courtyard has seating and a small pool area. I was annoyed to find upon arrival that parking is an additional $18/night. Also, there is a cafe but no free breakfast.

Great hotel I've used them several times for flights out of SJC. Clean, nice rooms and staff is just amazing and chill. Airport shuttle is super quick both directions. Love the pool for quick exercise.

Pros: staff friendly and professional and free shuttle to airport Cons: doors for rooms were very heavy and slammed shut loudly, no microwaves in rooms, and the morning i left at 4:30am to catch shuttle to airport, Elevator was not working, had to carry luggage down 3 flights of stairs.

It was great. Great price. Couldn't get any closer to the airport. Free shuttle to the airport right when I checked out. Everyone was friendly. Room was nice and clean. Bed was good. Gym was nice and had everything I needed for a good workout.

The room was ok. A little loud from my room which was close to the freeway side. Half the elevators did not work. Someone earlier got stuck in it. Used the stairs begrudgingly. The Starbucks coffee they sold there was out. The room was decent. It served its purpose.

This is always a convenient Hotel for us to stay at since it is near the area where we do business once a month. The only disappointing thing was that they now charge for parking, which they have never charged before (at least in my experience).

Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had all the necessities, but could have used a couple more big towels. The deadbolt lock did not seem to work. Front desk personnel were efficient and friendly. I have stayed there before, but not for at least a year, and will continue to do so.

Would stay here again but cleanliness seems to be an issue. was here for 2 nights and on the first night our sheets had blood stains on them and there was hair in the bathroom (red) that didn't belong to us, so we had to ask for the room to be cleaned the next day, and they changed the sheets. was a quiet stay, no other issues. right next to SJ airport, didn't hear the planes at all.

I dislike leaving bad reviews but this hotel is overrated (hotels.com rating) and the photos on the listing do not represent the hotel conditions. The shower was falling apart, moldy and dirty, pillows were lumpy and smelled. The room smelled like smoke/mildew and the couch had stains. The hotel is old and needs to be updated. We checked in late, staff was friendly and helpful. But there was someone sleeping in a booth in the lobby and it was over all an unpleasant experience. After checking in and going to the room we wanted to leave but it was late and no refund option was offered when I contacted hotels.com. The airport shuttle was on time and efficient. 5 stars for that.

The bed was wonderful! The room was very nice. I had to ask for a microwave in the room...thought this was standard. And...I chose this hotel partially because it had a restaurant. Learned at check in that the restaurant was closed on the weekends. I was there Friday night until Monday morning. It would have been nice to know this before I made my reservation.

The location to the airport is great. The room is very dark and noisy. The exit door opens and closes with a loud bang, got woken up in the middle of the night constantly. Services are at the minimum.

Our room barely had any space to walk around the bed. They had this huge couch and wood was sticking out which bruised my knee. Not very well thought out. There is not any safe to store valuables. Disappointed. Shuttle drivers were very nice and considering. They Should get A+.

We had a really bad experience with the front desk staffs when we checked in on 2/19 around 8:30pm. There were two staff at the front desk while we walked into the lobby, however, as soon as we reached to the receiption desk, one lady walked away from the desk, and the gentleman at the desk was on the phone, he didn't even look at me or told me to just wait a moment till he finished his call. During the entire 10 -15 minutes of waiting, the gentleman continued talking on his phone, and didn't even make an eye contact with me. This is very bad service, considering this is not a motel and many business travelers stay in such hotels that near airports for the convenience to catch early flights next day, or attend conferences nearby. We were very disappointed by the service. And our room was far away, which I may not know the occupancy of the night for this resort, I would appreciate if the front desk staff check with us if we want to pick different room. Overall, it is a bad experience, if we may not consider to come back to this hotel since there are plenty of choices nearby.

I was going to list a minor complaint about the housekeeping service, but after I checked out and was already at the airport, I realized I had accidentally left my iPad back in the room. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and mailed my iPad back to me the next day. They went beyond duty. I am extremely grateful to them.

While I give this stay a 5 star, it did not start off that way. Upon arrival, which was at 1130p, I was told that our room was given to someone else. It explained to me that the front earlier desk person checked another guest in under my reservation stating that our last names were similar causing the mistake. While this was pretty annoying especially becuase it was so late at night, the gentleman that checked us in did everything that he could make sure we were accommodated for. That he did achieve. This is just part of the reason I am giving this place a 5 star. We were told that night that we would have to switch rooms to our originally booked room since the person that was mistakenly checked into our room was only there for a night. The next day when I went to make the room switch, the nice woman at front desk told me that there would be no need and we could stay in the room that we were currently in since it was there mistake. I found out then that the room we were put in was an upgrade from what I had booked. That was excellent recovery service from my stand point. This hotel also gets a 5 star for its great location right outside from the airport and the ease of access to the highways which makes commit times to destinations much simpler and cuts down drive time.

Rude, unprofessional service! Do NOT stay here unless you like to deal with a potential lousy experience. First off, I had to walk from other side of motel to front desk for towels (they don’t answer phone) only to be told to go back to room for towels. They never came so I had to go back again. This was not a big deal, however the following was… I had reserved airport ride for 2:30pm. I got a bad vibe from staff so I reminded them THREE times of my upcoming shuttle appt. They still forgot! Then when I asked lady @ front desk she brushed me off and just said to “sit and wait”. WOW!!! Horrible attitude. Then I asked for a manager and he said he’d call me back (left my number for him) and he never did! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

Hotel is located in a business park area, and was clean, modern, and very quiet considering how close it is to the airport. The staff was very helpful, and there is a little shop where you can get snacks and drinks. Parking is free and plentiful. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet paper. It was the thinnest I've ever seen, including in third-world countries! I would definitely stay here again, but I would bring my own TP!

The parking is $18 a night. The "continental breakfast" I prepaid for was a pastry OR a pre-packaged cereal bowl and a drink, such as orange juice, which they also didn\'t have. They wouldn\'t let me add a third person, so my 3yo ended up eating one of ours. At check-in they didn\'t tell me anything like where to find the wifi information and they didn\'t give me the breakfast passes at that time. The two employees were arguing over who would check us in. The room itself was very nice and the property seems clean. It\'s very close to the airport parking.

Staff was super pleasant and helpful. I ended up getting a room with a king bed instead of two queens, but our third person didn’t come along so it worked out. And because of the mixup they didn’t charge me for the parking fees. Overall will definitely use that Hotel again. Price was great as well. Only $116 and it was 15 minutes away from the Levi’s Stadium where we went to see Usher and Chris Brown.

The room bathroom need to be better maintain. The shower area has a broken wedge on the wall that can be hazard. Room has a smell and not to pleasant. Also a car alarm horn continues to blow for a good 30 mins until the owner left. No staff was able to to resolve a guest when you charge a $20 for daily parking.

I checked out in around 8 pm and was treated as an annoyance rather than a guest. No eye contact from the desk person. Mumbled sentences, zero introduction to the property or what it had to offer. Could not get rid of me fast enough. Security in the parking lot and lobby elevator hall very poor. Bunch of hairs clinging to my shower walls. Room was roomy and nicely appointed but…This was my first stay at a Sonesta and I will not stay again. Crossing it off the list.
