For a large city the location isn’t terrible. It’s was perfect for going back and forth between near by cities. It looks like this once was a wonderful hotel but the owners don’t/can’t invest money into it. As a gym person this is my biggest complaint. The “fitness center” is a joke. You can’t do any real cardio, the machines are broken or very near. The *laughs* cable machine is a joke. Looks like it was installed in the early 90’s. There’s no free weights. There were no hand sanitizer or wipes. It was truly disappointing. My biggest complaint over. Check in was half great half not. You have the option to check in on line but the website is terrible. The front desk was great. After our first night in our room we switched rooms. The first room was tiny and in the outside. Since we it took us 3 hours to get there it was late. So we got a room on the outside perimeter *eek* we were greeted will loud giggity sounds. Rushed to turn the tv on. There were signs that this room was not one of their best. Second room was great! On the inside of the large courtyard. It’s lovey. Pool was great. Hot tube amazing. Other guest were delightful. People were playing the putter area and kids were splashing. I had a new bathing suit from Amazon. I’ve washed it twice but it’s still leaving residue. They charged us $70+ for damaging the towels. In my experience with this it comes out after one washing. Which my husband explained but they didn’t care.

Location is great near SJC, and Price is good, under $100. But its basically a Motel, should be around $50 a night. It does have a pool, dirty but its a pool.

They advertise a shuttle. They do not have one. They call a Lyft, which didn't show up and the hotel contact barely spoke English and was really rude. Went to a different hotel. Terrible experience.

This is a dated, 2 story, motor lodge. It does not have an elevator. It's restaurant and bar are closed. It is 2.1 miles from the San Jose Airport. It was very noisy, as there were non guests partying til late into the night in a side parking lot. Pay a few dollars more and stay at a major chain very nearby. One positive is that they use Lyft to get their guests to and from the airport 24/7!

Good service with pleasant staff that answers the phone. Dated property. The property is changing brands, so it was a little confusing at first as there are no signs for the Uptown Oasis, just Wyndham Garden. Room had clean bed and bath which was important for overnight stay before a flight. The property has a nice pool. The front desk got us a lyft to the airport very early morning. This was a good perk.

Disgusting. Dead ants in the bed, rat feces on the bathroom floor. Run down, shoddy repairs. This is a dump. The staff was friendly, but spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

Priscilla was the highlight of my stay. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made my birthday visit feel special. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is in serious need of an overhaul. The parking lot felt unsafe, with many homeless walking around. Inside, the room design was concerning: a metal “wall” by the front door and window left part of the window exposed, creating a major privacy issue, anyone could peak in. I had to avoid standing in that corner of the room. On top of that, the bathroom was disappointing—the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, and the tub was clogged.

Booked this hotel based on the 8.5 rating it had. The building from the outside looked nice. Has lots of plants which is cool. The bedroom was dirty and very outdated. Nasty dirty walls and wall paper. There were chips under the bed and a wet contact lens on the ground in the bathroom. Floors definitely weren’t clean. The place just felt dirty and dingy. The parking spots were all so close i actually couldnt open my rear door to put my baby in the car. I wouldnt stay here again based off of how dirty the room was. Sheets smelled and looked clean thankfully.

The property itself was okay. the interior of the rooms wasn't bad. They had an AMAZING pool area, I just wasn't able to use it with my schedule. There was a BAD odor in the room, like the room was saturated in bad body odor. It was pretty bad.

Room was not clean. Hairs on the bed and even found a bug on one of the beds. Was also charged a portion of my deposit because of damages to the room (my son accidentally spilled chocolate milk on a towel and a blanket, which we rinsed off), such a bad experience here. Manager is also no help.

The room was not clean, found pills on the floor, pieces of food. The bathroom has mold on the ceiling and the floor is coming apart. If our flight wasn’t very late leading to nearly midnight check-in, we would’ve left immediately. Informed the front desk staff, showed her pictures and she took screenshots of my photos. Was told I would receive a call from management, a week later and no call or communication. Do not stay here.

At first, I couldn’t find the place cause they just changed their name from Wyndham Garden to Uptown Oasis but it’s the still the same place. The lady at the front desk was very kind explaining over the phone where the hotel was. Check in was quick and easy. First impression of the room was that everything was neat and clean, air conditioning worked great, and quiet area. I only stayed for one night as a single traveler but I would definitely recommend to stay here if on a budget.

It was okay. I can see if you were mainly needing a night to stay before going to the airport. But we were in town for a soccer game. It was just fine, definitely old and run down. But a hotel under $100 now a days with a clean bed is hard to come by. I stayed in room 213. I would recommend adding a better curtain situation since they keep the exterior lights on all night and the light came through the entire night and I had to sleep facing the other way.

Desk clerk Priscilla was extremely helpful at check-in. We were booked into a 2nd floor room but did not realize the hotel does not have a lift. My spouse is disabled and has difficulty with stairs. Priscilla kindly rebooked us into a ground floor ADA compliant unit and was so understanding and cheerful! The hotel itself is an older property. The bed in our room was hard and not comfortable. The AC unit didn’t maintain a steady temp so the room fluctuated between freezing cold and stifling hot all night. Carpet and drapes were worn. In general, it looks like the hotel needs updating. Plenty of parking on-site, and though the neighborhood looked a little sketchy we didn’t feel worried about our car. Close to the airport. Overall, it was a cheap place to stay.

The hotel looks like it used be much livelier. It's a bit worn down and could use some updating. For example, I could not find a power outlet or USB connectors near the nightstands. The lights had a cold temperature. Warmer lights would be nicer. Some paint was chipping off of the walls. On the plus side, the room was spacious. The shower was functional and had good water pressure. Free water was provided. The mini refrigerator worked well. The free wifi was handy. The heating and cooling worked well.

I was supposed to have a "garden view" room, but was instead given a room around the back of the building. The bathroom has a motion sensor light and fan that kept coming on in the middle of the night despite no one being up. It was loud and would wake me up every time. I\'d have to get up to turn it off manually.

Would avoid. At about 2AM a large group of young people showed up outside my room and proceeded to drink, smoke, yell and honk horns until I left at 5AM. They were even sitting on my car when I came out. The person behind the front desk didn't care, and the "security" they say they have wasn't around. These were kids, high-school loudly underage drinking and didn't even appear to have a room at the motel. It's just a hang out spot.

This trip had all the ingredients of pending doom. Lost ID so none to check in with, frozen credit cards etc. I would like to say that Priscilla at the front desk saved me from homelessness in San Jose. On top of it all there was a mistake in my booking dates and working with Expedia was like getting a root canal. However Priscilla made a few calls, going well beyond the scope of her responsibilities to ensure i had a roof over my head and worked around a number of cancelled credit cards. Highly recommended for the staff. recently updatd and great overall value. Piece of strong advice - stay way from booking via a 3rd party like Expedia where you are juat a number. Call them direct and book so you can sleep at night which was the whole point.

Arrived to check-in and enter the room shelled awful and restroom door kept on sticking. Room keys continue to deactivate and front desk had horrible attitude because she had to reactivate keys. Front desk connected to have attitude with my son and myself when having to requested reaction of room keys, and when asking for reactivate of my room keys another couple in line was asking to have thier keys reactivated. I will never go back to this hotel nor what i recommend anyone to attend until to revamping in front desk

Booked for 5 nights a month before our stay. Got a welcome email the morning of check in that even offered for us to check in which we did around 5 p.m. We’re traveling at night. At around 9:30 p.m. we get a call telling us they overbooked and can’t house us for that night and the next which left us scrambling to find a new place. The ONLY decency they had was refunding us for the 5 nights upon our request. What an absolute joke of a place and would not recommend.

They gave my room that I booked 4 months in advanced to someone else; after driving for 13 hours; I try to check in and they tell me that they decided to give my room to someone else cause there was a country concert. Like that was my problem, I had 2 children with me and I had to look for a hotel in the middle of the night; couldn’t get one until 2 am

my check in was at 3 pm and i arrived at 3:30. i had to wait in line for an hour, even though I checked in online, just to talk to the front desk and then they told me it would be another hour until my room would be ready. i didn’t get the keys to my room until 6:30. I don’t know why everything took so long but if check in is at 3 then the room should be ready by 3.

When I got there to check in they took my ID and CC # and had almost completed the check in when they decided to tell me there was no hot water on the property and it wouldn’t be fixed until the next day. They wanted to book me into their other property which was 20 miles away and not at all convenient to the airport. I opted to find another place myself. They “refunded” me but told me I had to call Expedia myself to complete the refund. The front desk person did not care one bit about the situation and did not even apologize. Went to a nearby Extended Stay and got an upgraded room when he heard about my situation.

Very clean hotel with very friendly and attentive front of house staff. Great location close to roads and airport and Gish Station VTA tram stop. Free parking was great but the only downside is the closed down restaurant in the same building, makes it look very run down.

A great stay for a weekend trip. Check in was smooth and so was check out, definitely take advantage of the airport shuttle that they provide. There’s not much to do walking distance around the hotel but definitely go around the city!

It was clear from the cab ride up to the lobby, even at night, that the photos had to have been taken a lifetime ago. The "shuttle" had apparently been sold off and hourly "ride share" trips have been substituted. The lounge was long defunct, as well as a separate restaurant, which also was attached to the lobby. The ample mirrors and glass surfaces in the lobby appeared filthy, adding to a general air of disarray. The room as clean enough, but the property and surrounding area didn't instill a feeling of security, given the outside stairways and entrances. I'll never be back!

Private Entrances to the rooms which are well kept; carpet was very recently updated and clean. Hard working cleaning staff, friendly front desk staff. Convenient location, close to transit and quiet. Nearby cafe serves breakfast all day and is delicious! Will definitely return!

A good location for us, but no restaurant, which the used to have.. not many cars in lot and we were there over Christmas… Verizon tv channels 1-38 except 4 which was local station for football… we won’t go back

I booked this hotel because Expedia advertised that there was a free shuttle and a restaurant on the property. I called the hotel about the shuttle and they sent a Lyft car for us, which was billed to us. When we got to the hotel we found that there was no restaurant and there hadn't been for a long time. Expedia, update your listing, this is false advertising!

The actual front facilities was quite nice better than I thought it was gonna be. The luggage cart was a transfer luggage cart like not a luggage cart for a hotel so that was a little disappointing but still happy they had one. The rooms initially had a smell to it like it had been deodorized, but like the smell was intense, so it took a little while to get used to that but at least it didn’t smell and the room was really dark which is usually what happens when people have not updated the rooms but overall it was a decent day that was great Even though she saw a guy peeing in the bushes, which says a lot for the neighborhood. Our airport Transfer was done by a Lyft driver in a Tesla so that was a nice plus as well

We stayed here the night before an early morning flight at SJC. The property's pool and amenities are magnificent - like being in Hawaii (almost). We dined nearby in central San Jose at a wonderful restaurant in San Pedro square - very lively and great ambiance.

First of all, this is NOT called Uptown Oasis San Jose Airport, it is Wyndham Garden Hotel, which made it very confusing for us when we first arrived. This looks like is was, at one time, a really nice hotel. It's a bit rundown and since it's now a Wyndham I wouldn't hold my breath it will get any better. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months!! Thankfully, my great-granddaughter had a great time in the hot tub after trying the pool but didn't like the dirtiness. NO amenties. No coffee in the lobby.
