Our stay was great, but there was a small issue. We specifically got this place because it has ev chargers. My vehicle had low charge when I got to the hotel, but the chargers there ended up not working. We asked for help/assistance at the help desk but they did not have knowledge/interest in it.

Unfortunately we did not know the pool was going to be cloosed...it said through September, other than that it was my 2nd stay there and I will stay again. Loved that Black Angus is right there, no need for uber. Loved the walk down to the waterfront, and visited the Saturday market on our way down....really nice area. will stay again

I was very disappointed when I was trying to do my one load of laundry. The machine did not take dollar bills and the desk had no quarters to buy2.00 for washing and 2 dollars for drying. I had to walk to a steak house to buy quarters.

Nice hotel 1 mile from the river downtown. Black Angus restaurant in the same parking lot. The elevator takes a about 6-7 years to arrive so just use the stairs.

The rooms weren’t very clean, the coffee maker had a very old coffee pod in it still, floor had some scraps, there was a quarter left on the floor, and the shower wall had a bunch of hair stuck to it. Staff told us the breakfast was open till 9:30 when it really ended at 9, and the literally took everything away at the stroke of 9am so no breakfast fo us.

Arrived and checked in. The sheets had lipstick on them, the other set had brown marks along the edge. The bathroom tub was dirty and hairs, bathroom wall had boogers on it. Contacted the front desk and said house keeping was gone, asked for it the next day and nothing. Called to ask and said house keeping was gone again but here is some sheets for you to change your own bed.

We loved the fact that upon check in there were cookies for us. The area felt pretty safe and parking was easy. The breakfast was wonderful! The sweet lady in there, kept everything clean and well stocked! Those who cleaned our room were very respectful of our things and kept our room sparkling every day! We would totally recommend this hotel!!!

The room was not clean, tables had spill residue, towels had obvious dark stains and should have been bleached or donated if unable to remedy. Check in was easy and the lady was very nice. The room had a really funky smell, don't get room 133 if you can help it. Also very loud, as it was at the end, outdoor exit was loud and busy late into the night.

I spilled some water in the carpet and put down a towel to soak it up. The towel came up brown because the carpet was so dirty. It was pretty gross. Made me question the cleanliness of everything else.

The sheets in our first room were dirty, with hair and makeup stains. When we asked for them to be changed, the front desk attendant explained she was the only staff member on duty and offered to move us to another room instead. Unfortunately, the second room had similar issues, the pillowcases had hair and even small blood stains. We were able to get clean pillowcases from the front desk, but the experience left us disappointed. Overall, the hotel has potential, but cleanliness and service need significant improvement. If the sheets were properly cleaned, it could be a decent place to stay.

When we arrived the building/inside didnt look at all like the photos on expedia. The staff was friendly and the best part about the whole experience. We got to our room and there was a huge pile of human hair laying in the bathroom like they had cleaned out the drain of the tub and just left it there. Pulled back the sheeta on the bed and there was a LIVE BUG in it!! The washcloths looked stained, and the place overall just didnt seem like it was maintenced or cleaned well. We got transferred to another room and the door wasnt sealed properly and we were right next to the loud elevator and ice/soda machine. We could hear every little noise from the hallway because of the door. Our window didnt have a screen on it and the window opened fully to a rooftop where you could see people had climbed out and smoked. Our room was extremely muggy and full of condensation. Overall it wasnt the greatest experience and i would not return or recommend to anyone else. I feel we should have received some sort of discount due to the events that had happened when we arrived, and having to switch rooms but we paid full price!

The beds were very comfortable and it is in a good location. It is walking distance to downtown Vancouver and the Waterfront. The hallways seem a little dated but the service was great and they have free cookies. I would stay there again because the price is right.

The hotel was nice and the room clean and the bed very comfortable. Only issue was that someone was moving furniture in the room above until 11 pm and it was very distracting/annoying. Emma on the front desk was a jewel and very concerned that all was well with our room. Another issue in the room is that there is a step to the bathroom so all was compressed in there.

I love this hotel! I have many hotels to choose from in Vancouver, but I will always stay here. The staff are friendly and truly care about hospitality. This place is quiet! When I checked in, front desk staff told me the place was booked but I would have never known that otherwise. I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotels due to noise…but not here!

The hotel itself was fine. There were dancers on my floor in town for a convention that let their kids run and scream up and down the hallway for hours. Once it finally calmed down, someone aggressively tried to get into my room and I had to scream at them to go away. I left at 10pm in tears and the front desk didn’t seem to care.

Best wheelchair accessible room we've had. Perfect accessible roll in shower with shower chair. Staff was good accept for slamming doors at 4:00 am over and over on the first night. After I mentioned it, the next night was fine. Good breakfast. Sadly, the front walkway is at a steep incline and made it difficult for a wheelchair. Parking in back would be recommended for accessiblity. Would stay again.

Overall a great hotel for a quick weekend trip with friends. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we always love a morning breakfast included. The front desk staff was absent a decent amount of time with the “we’ll be right back sign” out that cause a couple minor delays.

This property has done a very good job renovating. Curb appeal is very good, and the interior has clearly gotten a substantial refresh. You can still “feel” it’s a Comfort Inn with its low ceilings, tiny elevator, narrow corridors and small lobby, but again, they have done about as much as you can to dress it up. However, as I arrived, I had to wait at the front desk for quite a few minutes before a clerk showed up to check me in. This is typically due to desk clerks being given tasks that pull them away from the desk for periods of time. Although clearly a cost-saving measure, this really only works if you have at least two clerks - which often negates the cost savings that smaller or low-occupancy facilities are trying to achieve. But remember owners/managers - you don’t get a 2nd chance at a first opinion. Commit to the cost of having an attentive, well-trained and very friendly desk staff. In the room, the TV was about a decade too small, and the hotel decided not to pay for the main 4 networks - perhaps hoping no one will notice or care. I noticed and care. Bathroom was relatively clean, but this hotel likely doesn’t have a room inspector - a member of housekeeping that does final room inspections before they are released for check-ins. This can help prevent the hairs I found. Also, need full-size ironing boards, a more attentive bfast host to ensure coffee doesn’t run out, and a call to the vending company to make sure credit card modules work. Who has cash?!

We often stay at the Comfort Inn. It is close to the bus stop to go to Portland. The breakfast is decent, and the rooms are spotless. It is an affordable option to do business in downtown Vancouver, a half-mile walk, or jump on Interstate 5

Outside of the hotel is a little sketchy since it’s downtown, but our room was great! Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent every morning as well. Quick check in and check out. Overall would definitely stay again when visiting Vancouver.

It was an okay place to stay. Needs updating. We changed rooms after the first room had a broken toilet. Didn’t feel safe to walk within a few blocks from the hotel. Watched homeless people going through the dumpster behind the hotel out our room window.

The surrounding area around the hotel is nice and really close to so many things, but right next to the freeway and major streets so can be noisy. The online pictures are a lot nicer then in oerson of the outside. It has been updated mostly and shares a parking lot with a restaurant. The first floor of the hotel is very nice, clean and put together. The 3rd floor has stains all overthe carpets though the hallway and smells like a drying wet animal. The room was nice. Tight entry but upgraded. Found silverware right under the edge of the bed and on the floor next to the TV stand. The sheets were stained but we never use hotel sheets, we bring our own. The bed was not comfortable to me but others might think otherwise. The breakfast was pretty basic.
