This property had a pool in the back that hadn't been used in sometime and was still full of water. Breeding ground for bugs. Rooms were clean but smelled moldy and must.

Very mouldy smell in the first room we stayed in. Handicap room. Smell was from shower curtain. Also not pleased to find out the outdoor pool did not exist, filled with concrete patio. Should update the website.

A good location, with the added bonus of being directly connected to an IHOP. Many good dining and shopping options nearby. A bit noisy being right next to I-95. Laundry room was excellent!

Bed mattresses had bad Springs and needed replacement. Pool was filled with cement and no longer existed. Did not get my reward points because I got the reservation through Hotels.com. Capped sewer pipes were sticking up under the desk. I stay at BWs all over and this was not up to their standards

I have stayed here every time I have been in Augusta for 7 years. The hotel is not what it used to be. The beds were too soft and pillows too hard. Both needed replacing. The worst part was the fact that the room had obviously not been cleaned properly before I stayed. There was a 7 or 8 inch long 3 or 4 inch thick clump of black curly hair under the edge of the bed. Sorry that is not acceptable. I will not stay here again. At almost $200.00 per night, I expect at least cleaning. No cleaning was done during my four day stay. Very disappointing as I have loved this hotel and location in the past.

Property is conveniently located near I 95 and close to shopping areas. I have stayed here in the past.Staff is friendly, nice little breakfast area. However, the rooms are getting a bit rundown and I won’t stay here again based on my recent experience. First, I thought the rates were a bit high for November at about $200/night Canadian, but it was a long weekend so, based on past experiences I booked the property. The room was basic, seemed clean but a bit run down (chipped paint, saggy curtains etc.). On our way to dinner the hallway reeked of marijuana even though it is a No Smoking hotel. We went to go to sleep around 11:00 pm, I pulled back the sheets to reveal pennies in the bed. My daughter’s bed also had sheets with hairs and , obviously had not been changed. I called down and asked for new sheets and we remade the beds ourselves. I reported this that evening, the next morning and at checkout. Despite my reporting concerns about the room, the room was never cleaned while we were there (2nights) and not one of the staff made any effort to make amends. Won’t be staying again between that experience, price and overall rundown state of the hotel.

I liked that the location was near hospital but the evenning clerk was unfriendly, and curt. The room I stayed in had first thing I noticed was an alcohol bottle in the trash can when I opened the door. the shampoo bottle had been used the coverlet smelt of body Oder .

The room was damp and the carpet felt wet - there clearly has been no upgrades in a very long time. There were extreme water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom and on the shower curtain. In addition - the smell (I assume mold due to the dampness) was horrible. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great!

This facility was not anyway near the quality of other Best Westerns we have stayed at. Very uncomfortable beds, load voices through walls, not easy to get to our room, and overall not up to Best Westerns usual standards. We will never stay at or recommend this hotel to others.

Great place to stay for a night on business. Was very loud at times in the hallway with slamming doors and could hear the toilet flush in the room above me. But overall, great for a quick overnight stay.

The staff was the highlight of this stay - they were very friendly and helpful at every instance. On the flip side, this hotel is definitely past its prime and it shows. The room was dingy and poorly maintained, there was substantial road noise from the near by highway, and the bathroom required some TLC before use.

I stood in line for 10-15 minutes at 9:00 pm waiting to get to the desk so I could check in (I had a reservation). The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful, but obviously needed help. There were 5-6 more people behind me waiting to check-in, too. The hotel was nice, but the carpets in hallways needed cleaning, the paint was nicked off many of the door frames (especially the bottoms), etc. It looked like it needed to be shut down for 1-2 weeks and cleaned up. But we slept well and enjoyed the breakfast, although more fruit would have been appreciated.

Smoke detector went off at 7AM. Two calls to staff desk failed to get anyone to attend. When we went to front desk one of the staff said batteries needed replacing then came to room and removed smoke detector. No concern or apology. etc etc

The staff at this facility are the best! Whatever you need they can make it happen. The staff are the most courteous and customer focused.The breakfast had a varied menu all 4 days we were there and the food was delicious, probably the best we have ever had in all of our travels. It was a pleasure staying there and we will return since many of our relatives live there. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately, I didn’t like anything at this property. First and foremost, they did a lot of carpet cleaning before I checked in and was given a room with wet carpet and a carpet fan blowing on it. I asked for a different room and was given something closer to the lobby. This room too had damp carpet and felt very humid with a wet dog smell and damp carpet. I sat in the room for at least 30 minutes and the funky smell starting to affect my sinuses in a bad way like everything was closing off. I spoke to a manager and explained that the carpet cleaning was affecting me very negatively and that I couldn’t stay. I knew that if I stayed I would not get any sleep and would be worse off in the morning. The manager insisted on showing me a third room, but frankly I didn’t want to tour the entire hotel until I found a good room. I asked for a refund for the night and was denied. It was so bad that I was willing to eat the cost of the room for the night and go somewhere else. I’m sure they thought I was lying, but I think I proved that I wasn’t because I was willing to take the financial hit for the night. Very disappointed! I work as an AGM in a best western for 15 years and am amazed that they would allow this property to operate this was.

I had a one day conference at the Augusta Civic Center. The location next door to the civic center was great. There was no breakfast served at the conference, but I had a lovely breakfast at the hotel before I left.

This Hotel is well located close to the highway. However, it is very quiet and has shopping close by with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast is good and the staff, as always are very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast is not very good for hot food. Eggs were Okay, potatoes were Okay but the ham they had was horrible. It was very tough and chewy. Not good.
