Book a king bed and was giving two twin beds because none was ready at check in The house keeper walk in on us without knocking and entered the room. The ice machine doesn’t work on the 4th floor

HORRIBLE STAY!!! Hot tub closed! Called prior to booking to CONFIRM it and pool were open and was told they were open. Finally got time to get in and got tub was closed and water was green.. my daughter also got a separate room which the ac didn't work. Told staff TWICE but it never got completely fixed. She has a newborn and they were miserable all night. They had to stay in my room because it was so hot in theirs. We ate at the restaurant inside and it was horrible! Waited almost an hour for food, they weren't busy at all, payed $186 for 4 meals and drinks. Food was nasty and our APPETIZER didn't come out until we were done eating and about to leave.. some, not all, staff was rude!! We will absolutely NOT be staying again.

As we approached the front of the building, there was trash on the property, blown all over. There was a piece of rod iron sticking out the concrete at the main entrance. Almost ran over it. Girl at the front desk had very long nasty fake nails. And she had a very bad attitude. The bed was comfortable, absolutely loved the pillows. The ice machine quit on 7, we had to go to another floor for ice. The breakfast buffet foods were cold. When I went out to get some food, there was a group of guys that were yelling at women as they came out the doors, and it was very unsettling. Staff was told and nothing was done. Ran into 2 other women that went thru this too. The eggs were cold, the grits were like water, too runny, the sausage was burnt and bacon to a crisp. Not worth $15.00 for the breakfast buffet.

It was all good until we were trying to go downstairs with belongings on the the rack to pack up car and only 1 elevator was working out of the 2. It was a convention so we waited 30 + minutes to fit in elevator. With all the people checking out at same time because they didn’t allow late checkouts that weekend. Husband and I took turns using stairs to unload our rack on 4 th floor to get our things to the car.

Hotel lied about amenity access when I called before making the reservation. On site after check in they said the hot tub had been closed for weeks, after the receptionist initially said he didn’t have any information and that it was a maintenance question. Will be seeking a refund.

Someone pulled the fire alarm at like 2:30 am and no manager went around to tell you it was okay or to get out. We jumped out of bed got our stuff together to leave and wondered were everyone else was. Like 5 minutes waiting with other visitors. Then no explanation or discournt was given.

We chose this location at a higher price point because it had an indoor pool / hot tub and it was winter time. We got to the property and there were printed papers taped every where that the pool was out of order. There were kids all over the place running around the atrium on various levels. The children were very loud and to this point there were also papers taped up on the walls everywhere reminding vacationers that children must be accompanied by an adult. When we got to our room the toilet did not flush. They had to have maintenance come service the toilet and we had to wait over an hour to be able to unpack our things or see if they were going to move us to a different room or not only after they assessed if they could fix the toilet or not. All of the electrical sockets were very loose. Our chargers and hair hot irons and blow drier would not stay plugged into the walls. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

For the property being as old as it is, it is still very well maintained and very clean. Of all the Holiday Inn properties I have stayed in, this one has to be in the top three. It is very close to dining and entertainment options. It's also easy on and easy off from the interstate. This Holiday Inn is highly recommended.

When I checked in, the lady checking me in did not greet me and was not welcoming. It seemed more like I was bothering her. Also, my first morning there, I killed a small roach in my bathroom. To make it even worse, I left it in my bathroom for the cleaning crew and they left it there, but replaced my towels. The roach was hard to miss in front of the toilet and next to the tub. It took the next day for the "A" team cleaning crew for the roach to get taken up. I have to come back to Beaumont for business, but it will not be at this hotel.

I stayed here for 2 nights which was $400. The first night I noticed the air wasn’t working very well and I was staying with a newborn so he wasn’t sleeping well in the warm room, but I waited until the next morning to let staff know that it wasn’t working. The staff said that they would have a maintenance man come look so I left the room for the day at 77 degrees to go shop around. When I got back that afternoon the air would not go under 73 degrees and it was very humid so I let staff know again and they said they’d have the maintenance man come by again while we went to dinner. When we got back that night the room was still at 72 degrees and humid but we decided to just deal with it. When we decided to lay down we were interrupted by people running up and down the halls and slamming the door next to us. I do not recommend staying here at all especially since it’s one of the higher priced hotels in the area and it sucks. On a side note we decided to eat dinner at the hotel the first night (which costed $185 for 4 people) and the burgers were so dry you could not swallow. The food was so bad we each only ate a couple of bites.

Loved how nice the staff were and very attentive and professional. The beds were so comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Loved the little bar area in the lobby and how nicely it was decorated for the holidays. We would stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel at 3pm which is their check in time. We had to sit in the lobby for nearly an hour before they had a clean room for us. There was no hair dryer. The drapes were shabby and missing one of the plastic rods needed to open/close them. We found it broken and laying in a corner behind the closed drapes. We each had a glass of their house cabernet in what appeared to be a small port glass for $10 each PLUS tax: $22 total. We have stayed at this place several times before when traveling cross country to the west coast and on the return but it has become a run down over-priced dump.

So expedia gave.me the wrong room...i clicked in a king suite...and i was booked into a handicap room The tv had a line going in the middle.top.to.diqn Phone inside the room.did not work. Had to go down to talk to front desk. One my cards wasnt working, had to get it reprogrammed. And the place.did not at all have extra pillows. Beautiful.property but just had problems.

The room was on the first floor and you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the hall from people rolling their CLICKETY CLACK luggage to the workers yelling at each other in Spanish. The place is an "afterthought". NO WAY it way worth $174 a night. It's a whole lot nicer on the outside than the inside. Staff was nice, but that's about it. WAY overpriced.

What I didn't like was they took my deposit with telling me about it until I got there they told me that someone was supposed to call me and tell me about the deposit before they took the 200 hundred dollars and on top of that I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my money back that was my daughter fair money but thank God I had enough but I will not be going back ..

I will definitely stay at this property again in the future, such a clean and well maintained property. The staff was very attentive and accommodating from checkin until checkout. The front clerk Justin was also very polite, helpful and managed a large crowd (Weber State Football team) very professionally.

We got to the motel at around 1:00a and the lady behind the counter was very unprofessional. She handed us 4 or 5 forms to sign and initial. (Have never had to do this) than she ran my husband’s credit card and said his card was declined!! We had paid for our stay at Holiday Inn with Travelocity online. We told her there was no way it was declined and that it was already paid for. She finally recognized she had made a mistake but was very unprofessional with how she dealt with us, the customer. Although we have stayed at this particular motel before we will not use this motel in the future

Best part was Jayden at check-in and went downhill from there. We were never asked for a card at check in so at 11:35pm we received a call from the front desk that they needed one. My husband explained we had been asleep for an hour and a half and could we just come by in the morning. We were told no, they had to have it right then. Completely unacceptable to wake a guest up for an error on their side. I tried to speak to the manager in the morning. I was told he was on the property but when the front desk clerk called him, he wouldn’t come talk to me and instead told the clerk to give me his card. Again, not acceptable. Now I get to be inconvenienced once again and have to call the manager about this issue. IHG has let us down with this stay and for an old, dated, and extremely noisy hotel that we spent over $200 for a room, I expected a bit better.

The front desk and breakfast staff was very rude. They were not very accommodating and made our small requests seem like an inconvenience to ask. We also tried tipping the one breakfast server who actually was helpful and the other staff stole it from her and said she didn’t deserve it. I would highly encourage for more senior staff to encourage their team to be more friendly to their guests especially for large parties that generated a significant amount of revenue.

For the property being as old as it is, it is still very well maintained and very clean. Of all the Holiday Inn properties I have stayed in, this one has to be in the top three. It is very close to dining and entertainment options. It's also easy on and easy off from the interstate. This Holiday Inn is highly recommended.

I stayed here for 2 nights which was $400. The first night I noticed the air wasn’t working very well and I was staying with a newborn so he wasn’t sleeping well in the warm room, but I waited until the next morning to let staff know that it wasn’t working. The staff said that they would have a maintenance man come look so I left the room for the day at 77 degrees to go shop around. When I got back that afternoon the air would not go under 73 degrees and it was very humid so I let staff know again and they said they’d have the maintenance man come by again while we went to dinner. When we got back that night the room was still at 72 degrees and humid but we decided to just deal with it. When we decided to lay down we were interrupted by people running up and down the halls and slamming the door next to us. I do not recommend staying here at all especially since it’s one of the higher priced hotels in the area and it sucks. On a side note we decided to eat dinner at the hotel the first night (which costed $185 for 4 people) and the burgers were so dry you could not swallow. The food was so bad we each only ate a couple of bites.

HORRIBLE STAY!!! Hot tub closed! Called prior to booking to CONFIRM it and pool were open and was told they were open. Finally got time to get in and got tub was closed and water was green.. my daughter also got a separate room which the ac didn't work. Told staff TWICE but it never got completely fixed. She has a newborn and they were miserable all night. They had to stay in my room because it was so hot in theirs. We ate at the restaurant inside and it was horrible! Waited almost an hour for food, they weren't busy at all, payed $186 for 4 meals and drinks. Food was nasty and our APPETIZER didn't come out until we were done eating and about to leave.. some, not all, staff was rude!! We will absolutely NOT be staying again.

It was a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Most of the staff I talked with were very nice. I didn't try the breakfast mainly because I didn't want to pay $15 and I couldn't take it with me to my room to enjoy so I just went to the donut shop in walking distance and ate that in the comfort of my room. The pool and hot tub were very nice and so was the gym. I very much enjoyed my stay. Everyone was very nice to me except for a lady working the front desk when I was checking out. She was very short with me and made me feel like I was bothering her when I was returning my room key to let her know I was checking out. But overall my stay at this hotel was very nice and yes I would come again and even recommend this hotel to others.

As we approached the front of the building, there was trash on the property, blown all over. There was a piece of rod iron sticking out the concrete at the main entrance. Almost ran over it. Girl at the front desk had very long nasty fake nails. And she had a very bad attitude. The bed was comfortable, absolutely loved the pillows. The ice machine quit on 7, we had to go to another floor for ice. The breakfast buffet foods were cold. When I went out to get some food, there was a group of guys that were yelling at women as they came out the doors, and it was very unsettling. Staff was told and nothing was done. Ran into 2 other women that went thru this too. The eggs were cold, the grits were like water, too runny, the sausage was burnt and bacon to a crisp. Not worth $15.00 for the breakfast buffet.

I usually stop at this hotel when I take trips to see my grandchildren in Louisiana. This was the second time the hot tub was not operable this year. The 3rd trip to Louisiana this year, my wife and I stayed at the LaQuinta in Orange, Texas. It is about another 30 minutes added to my driving day. Their hot tub was operable. I am disabled and I have limits in how far I can drive comfortably. Another reason we stay at this hotel is that my beautiful wife loves to eat at Pappadeaux's across the street. I hope they get this problem fixed soon.
