Pleasantly surprised. Room was modern and clean. No frills but very nicely decorated Bed was comfortable enough. 2burner stovetop, microwave,fridge and dishwasher were in the room but i didnt use any of those. Parking lot was well lit. this property has outdoor room entrances and i usually dont stay at these but i would stay here again.

Their Front Desk is in one of the rooms, because of a fire back in December per Front Desk Associate. They advertise breakfast on their website but don't have it to do the fire. Hotel does not have a elevator and is very noise even in the rear, they are right off the Interstate.

Overall good, not overly fond of the blinds…feels like people can see in. Drapes would be helpful. The other issues were not really in the hotels control like the highway noise and the continental breakfast in a hotel room due to a recent fire.

Public areas on camera that was viewed from front lobby/desk so very secure/safe that vehicles were watched during night hours by lobby attendant. Plenty of free parking. Staff wonderful/helpful. Room clean, bed comfortable. No iron in room but available at front desk if needed. Easy off/on to I-10 and nearby highways. Plenty of restaurants along the feeder to choose from. This was a return visit for us and we will stay again when back this way.

The stay was great for the price. The room was nice and clean with basically a full kitchen and refrigerator. It was noisy being so close to the freeway but the location was super convenient. Parking lot was well it and I felt very safe! Would stay again.

BLACK MOLD on the wall by the bed. I could smell it immediately when I walked into the room, but I am hypersensitive so it might not be as noticeable to the average person. After looking around a bit we found mold under the side table on the walls by the bed. We tried 3 different rooms, they all smelled musty/moldy and we found mold in all 3. Luckily they gave us a full refund and we went to a different hotel. The front desk person was kind, understanding, and accommodating. The rooms do look really nice, it is unfortunate about the mold— I know it is hard and tedious to get rid of mold but mold exposure is extremely dangerous especially for chronically ill people like me.

Room 500 is very a spacious king suite. But it is Right over the lobby and faces the highway. One king bed was in a separate room. with no windows. Thought I’d get a good night sleep without any traffic noise. However, the two smoke/carbon monoxide detectors blinking lights did not make for a good night sleep. Also, the door sticks and makes a loud noise when opening. Midnight bathroom run woke the others. In the bathroom, the toilet was not cleaned. There were Urine stains on the toilet seat and rim. The shower curtain was torn. Had to ask for extra towels because there were only two bath towels for a suite that sleeps five. When checking out, I let the clerk know that the door sticks and makes a loud noises when opened. All she said was “Yeah, OK.” No “thank you for letting us know. Or I’ll tell maintenance. o Sorry about that.” Nothing!

When I got into my room, the air was wet and it smelled like mildew. The room looked clean on first inspection but as I walked around looking for signs of a leak I realized the floor was still sopping wet from a recent cleaning. As I looked around I saw crumbs and trash on the counters and floors and saw mold growing on the baseboard underneath the side table next to the bed and a dirty footprint on my bed sheets as well as dirt or crumbs of something all over the sheets. I actually immediately booked another hotel and left.

The room was very dirty. The bedsheets were very dirty it was full with hair and stains. It seems they never changed it after previous people. The bathroom was very dirty as well the corners filled with hair, food (popcorn) and dirt. The toilet was filled with yellow stains. It was very obvious that they never cleaned it for a while. The stairs were broken and filled with trash.

Extremely Disappointing Stay When I arrived at my room, it was clearly not cleaned—there were beer cans scattered around, it smelled strongly of urine, and the overall condition was unacceptable. I initially assumed I had been given the wrong room by mistake. However, when I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was told that the room should have been clean and that there were no other rooms available due to overbooking. To make matters worse, no effort was made to accommodate me. I wasn’t offered a different room, a cleaning service, or any form of compensation. I was told there were no staff available to clean the room either. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to reconsider before booking here.

Room was attractive, though floor was gritty. No bath mat in bathroom. AC was working properly and comfortable. Bed and pillows comfortable. The down side was the fact that our room faced Interstate 10 and the traffic, even in the middle of the night was very noisy. It may not be so bad at the backside of the motel.

Great choice in good location. Fortunately, we are on back of hotel away from traffic on I-10. Great king-bed room with unexpected full kitchen including dishwasher. Property being upgraded from old Howard Johnson to a new Baymont location.

Very nice room. Looked to be freshly remodeled. Everything was near perfect. The only downside was the traffic noise. Hotel is right next to the freeway. It’s very loud. We would have asked for a room around back had we realized how loud it would be. We had a room with a very nice kitchenette in it. Right by the pool. Lots of good places to eat just a block or two away.

Honestly my only complaint is the walls are insanely thin. We could hear the conversations from the room next to us like they were in the room with us. We had a suite and it sucked pretty bad to feel like we didnt have the privacy we paid for. Not to mention awkward to know everything the room next to us was doing.

The staff were great the entire trip. The hotel room was clean, quiet and the continental breakfast was fantastic. The only reason I can't give it a five star is because the microwave in our room didn't work, but other than that it was a great hotel and we will be coming back.

Recently renovated, clean room with two double beds and a decent-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, small stove, small assortment of dishes, pots, etc. all for less than $100 w/ Expedia membership. Included breakfast included scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits & gravel, waffles, etc. Best hotel value that I've had all year. Love that we could back up to our room door for quick unloading/loading. Great window shades.

The first room I got had smell of weed (believe or not). The staff immediately changed my room that had a very stiff door. You had to push really hard to open the door. The worst part was the WIFI which was really really slow. I had to use my mobile data.

The crew member that checked us in was very unwelcoming, unprofessional, and seemed annoyed. It was a shock because the Manager is very nice and professional. I did get a chance to speak to her( the manager) because no one should feel unwelcomed especially after driving for hours and expecting a nice friendly face with a smile.

Absolutely the most Unprofessional, demeaning and flat out rude experience I’ve ever experienced with a booking! After the interaction with their front staff was so HOSTILE, I went to another hotel up the road and had an absolutely phenomenal experience with the Holiday Inn! It was a fight even to get a refund after their staff canceled the room during her tantrum!

The bad review I am giving is due to the poor customer service provided by the front desk staff. On Saturday morning I mentioned to the front desk clerk that my room had been left without towels again and that was a recurring problem since it had happened in my last four stays. The clerk told me it was a supply problem but that I could go to the front desk to get the towels. The attitude of this clerk was rude and arrogant when telling me this. At that night another clerk told me that this was the last night I would be accepted as a guest and that I was banned from the hotel because of the criticiI would leave in my review.

This one was a surprise! When we first pulled in we weren’t too sure the noise from the interstate was loud! However we had a room on the back side of the building and it was really quiet. Beautifully renovated with kitchen facilities including a full fridge, dishwasher and hob were a great bonus! Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Wonderful front staff. Room was spacious & felt clean enough. No real complaints except the area was sketchy, the grounds around the property were trashy, & it was a bit noisy. Still would recommend for an overnight stay on the way to wherever you are traveling.

Very clean, convenient, great staff. The bed was very comfortable. We also liked that the room had a mini kitchen area, dishwasher, and fridge. The small kitchen included pots, plates, bowls, cups etc. Only issue is the outside highway noise, but we were able to sleep through the night.

Room was typical, bed was a little hard. Breakfast was a joke. I got there at 6:20AM and the only thing left was cereal, waffles and gravy. No coffee, eggs, meat, oatmeal, or yogurt. No staff around to even ask about it. Cane back 30 minutes later absolutely no change.

The room itself was incredible, but the booking advertised that breakfast was included. A fire in the lobby prevented breakfast. A voucher to a local restaurant or store would have been appreciated. Check in person said I would get a discount, though none provided. At the very least, the listing should be changed to show no breakfast offered. Or notify customer prior to arrival so that they can be prepared for lack of breakfast. Also, it was hard to find where the customer was supposed to check in since yellow tape blocked the lobby area - the sign saying to go to room 115 was within the yellow tape section.

We arrived the weekend after a fire in the lobby. Due to the fire, there wasn't breakfast in the morning. The bathroom was excellent and the kitchen was nice. Beds were comfortably. Construction around the property made navigation difficult. Overall our stay was good and would use this property again.

We stayed here for a couple days for my daughter’s softball tournament. It’s a convenient location, about 5 minutes from the complex. Rooms seemed updated, and clean. Loved the little kitchen and full size fridge. The breakfast was nice, my son loved the waffle maker. Only complaint was the plumbing for the toilet. The toilet wouldn’t flush all the time; like it had low pressure. It worked and then it didn’t. It would also make gurgle sounds randomly at night. Not sure if it was from the neighbors flushing or what. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
