The hotel was a very convenient place for all the sights that you may want to see in the city. Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were excellent and catered for everyone. The only downsides are the walls in the rooms are poorly insulated, one of the guests in the room next door played their TV loud at 2am and again at 4am the next day. The management did relocate me very quickly and efficiently however how sad that they have to resort to this due to the ever growing number of inconsiderent people with money. The other minor concern I have is that their is only one very small lift operating to seven levels, which meant often waiting longer than needed to access.

Excellent location to Acropolis and Plaka. Great restaurants nearby and nice rooftop with restaurant and bar plus a wonderful view. Breakfast was wonderful! Most of all friendly staff who really work hard to make guests feel welcomed at the hotel and the city. Loved Athens and will return.

The room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the Acropolis. The AC worked great. We were also on the 6th floor and were close to the rooftop restaurant/bar which was excellent. The live music at the restaurant was really good as well. This property was a 5 minute walk to all our tours, the Acropolis museum and the main street with all the restaurants and shopping. Never had to take a cab.

Cleanliness was on point! Everything smelled amazing, room was comfirtable but the shower was too small(for 1 person only) and the water kept coming out of the shower by the side. But other than that, everything else was perfect! The buffet breakfast was very good!! The staff very nice and helpful!! 👍👍👍

We loved our stay at Acropolis Select Hotel in Koukaki. It was a quiet area, we felt safe walking the streets with our young daughter. The staff were amazing here, we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They were extremely helpful in everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was great also, which made the start of our days run smoother. The room was clean and comfortable.

Let me preface by saying that the staff was absolutely amazing, especially the woman working the front desk. On the other hand, the facilities themselves are heavily outdated. Cracks in the floors, shower was disgusting, hairs from previous guests, etc. It is located very close to the Acropolis and a whole stretch of restaurants and shops which was great. For the price I paid, sorry but I would not recommend.

The location is great, it was pretty clean and the stuff is very nice, this is where the good things end tho. The hotel is old and not in its best condition. The acoustics is terrible, we couldn’t sleep - we could hear every person passing or talking in the hallway, or even the people in the next room. The WiFi barely worked, and even tho we did complain about this we were completely dismissed with the answer “we didn’t have any complaints about this” well, were complaining. The view from the tiny and not very clean balcony was to a gas station. We won’t come back.

This hotel has a lot going for it. It’s very conveniently located for exploring central Athens. It’s in a good area with lots of restaurant choices nearby. It’s own rooftop restaurant and bar has fabulous views of the Acropolis. All the staff were always very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet is extensive and definitely worth it. Downside was that our room (a standard room), felt a bit tired and functional. Didn’t feel like a room you looked forward to coming back to. But certainly okay for a short stay in Athens.

Staff at the check in desk were very helpful. However the shower was useless in that it could not hold a temperature or pressure. All it took was someone in the next room to turn their shower on, to drop the pressure and make the temperature cold. Alternatively if after getting the temperature right, they turned their water off, the temperature would be scolding hot. Absolutely ridiculous shower!

Delicious breakfast buffet and lovely rooftop restaurant with perfect vies of the Parthenon! Delicious menu and friendly waitstaff, live music too! Thank you to Rania at the front desk and Nektaria at the restaurant! You are the best!!

I had an amazing stay at Acropolis Select Hotel. The location is fantastic—about a 10–15 minute walk to many of Athens’ top sights—so I skipped Ubers/taxis and explored on foot. The staff were exceptionally professional and helpful, offering the kind of warm Greek hospitality that makes you feel truly welcome. I even received a welcome drink at check-in, and a complimentary bottle of wine in my room—such a thoughtful touch. My room was spotless and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace with its stunning Acropolis view was the perfect place to unwind. For the location, service, and overall experience, this was money well spent. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Athens.

Very friendly staff - clean and convenient to walk everywhere! Thank you! My son and I arrived around 1:00 PM and even though check in is at 3:00 PM, we were told that our room was ready for us and didn’t have to wait! I am very thankful since we had just flown from the USA and I was running the Athens Marathon the next day! (Amazing experience, by the way! :)

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We forgot to set up transportation to the port and the front desk called around to get us a taxi to get our party to the port. Rooms were nice and clean with great AC since it was so hot outside!

I made reservations months ago with some special requests and the front desk welcomed us very efficiently repeating our requests without us even asking. We had arranged a hotel shuttle from the airport. The driver was ready for us - even holding a small lighted screen with our name ( among a number of greeters with hand written signs). The driver, Fanis, was very friendly. He drove very professionally into the city center during rush hour. The van was a “sweet ride”, well designed for comfort and accessibility. The room was very nice with a small balcony overlooking a busy and active (noisy during the day a quiet at night) neighborhood . The room contained real tea cups with saucers ! This had to have been one of the most comfortable hotel beds that we’ve ever slept in. The staff in rooftop restaurant made us feel as if we were the only guests. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. We were afforded an excellent veiw of the Acropolis!
I made reservations months ago with some special requests and the front desk welcomed us very efficiently repeating our requests without us even asking. We had arranged a hotel shuttle from the airport. The driver was ready for us - even holding a small lighted screen with our name ( among a number of greeters with hand written signs). The driver, Fanis, was very friendly. He drove very professionally into the city center during rush hour. The van was a “sweet ride”, well designed for comfort and accessibility. The room was very nice with a small balcony overlooking a busy and active (noisy during the day a quiet at night) neighborhood . The room contained real tea cups with saucers ! This had to have been one of the most comfortable hotel beds that we’ve ever slept in. The staff in rooftop restaurant made us feel as if we were the only guests. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. We were afforded an excellent veiw of the Acropolis!

Staff from arrival were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is centrally located in tourist area and felt safe walking back to at night. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had anywhere I’ve stayed. Room was very clean and the patio was bigger than expected. The view from the rooftop bar is one of the best in the city. It was hard to leave when we had to check out. The staff had become like family. The manager at the front desk went out of her way every single day to make sure we were enjoying our visit and help with whatever we needed. Next time I’m in Athens I’ll be looking forward to staying here again.

Absolutely incredible location for a visit to Athens. 3 minutes walking to a metro station and about 10 minutes walking to the Acropolis Museum and also the Acropolis site. That means - the views from the rooftop bar & restaurant are a can't-miss perk! More importantly, there is a variety of restaurants nearby that made staying here a breeze. Room was clean and comfortable, and a little bigger than I expected. One small caveat - I was here the last week of November 2023 - there is building construction across the street which is a bit noisy if you are there during the daytime. It was not so loud that it woke me up in the morning, but you can definitely hear it if you are staying on the street-side of the hotel. All in all, incredible price to stay here.

Didn’t like the bathroom.. needs updating! Tub too high.. could barely get in to take shower.. couldn’t open door all the way… it hit the toilet when trying to open the door— room 208… breakfast was ok…. Beds were low to the ground… rooftop bar/restaurant was very nice with nice views

The view from the restaurant on the top floor was a highlight and the food for dinner was great too. The room was fairly spacious and the had everything we needed- fridge, hair dryer, and towels. The location was really good, lots of options for dining and drinks 10 minutes or less away. Thanks for the wine upon arrival!

This hotel has a lot going for it. It’s very conveniently located for exploring central Athens. It’s in a good area with lots of restaurant choices nearby. It’s own rooftop restaurant and bar has fabulous views of the Acropolis. All the staff were always very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet is extensive and definitely worth it. Downside was that our room (a standard room), felt a bit tired and functional. Didn’t feel like a room you looked forward to coming back to. But certainly okay for a short stay in Athens.

Hotel has a good location, nice restaurants in the streets around this hotel. We didn't have a view from the roof terrace due to construction activities. Rooms are good and clean. Breakfast is poor and didn't feel like fresh food. Very small elevator which has an error often.
