Clean, awesome location, they will store luggage if you arrive prior to check in time. The rooftop patio is a real bonus - stunning view and the bartender was friendly and accommodating! Breakfast included too!

Café da manhã muito bom comparado a outros hotéis. Quarto limpo com varanda. Do nosso quarto era possível ver a acrópole. O hotel conta ainda com rooftop. É possível deixar a bagagem guardada se tiver chegado antes do check in e após o check out (esse foi um ponto crucial para nós). Fomos bem recepcionados. A localização é muito boa. Com mercado próximo e bons lugares para comer.

Great location. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Front desk staff good, always available. They were great about storing luggage when we got into town early. Didn’t like the luggage storage space in basement - haphazard storage among pipes, small. Very small, difficult elevator and no easy access to stairs as an alternative. Breakfast was ok.

The room size is good, the mattress will suit those who like softer beds, and the bathroom is also OK. The rooftop bar has a beautiful view of the Acropolis and very good prices (and good service). Great location to Acropolis and shopping areas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Balcony room had a gorgeous view, as well as the rooftop bar. Gave only 4 stars because the reception area smelled like sewage, and the hallways had a strange smell as well.

The Attalos is a basic hotel and great for a few days in a great location of very near Monastiraki Sq. This is the 2nd time in 4 yrs I've stayed at Attalos. The bathrooms have been upgraded, very nice. Very fast check-in. Rooftop Bar with fanstatic view of Acropolis/Parthenon! Good selection of drinks. Interaction with staff was always positive. I like staying here on arrival.in Athens as it easy to get to and just what I need.

It was clean, hot showers, and close to all of the places visitors want to visit. The breakfast was superb and great choices for everyone. The only down fall was the walls are thin and people are loud in the hallway late into the night around 2 AM. Then you hear their shower run in your room. Overall it was a 4/5. Our stuff was safe and was not taken.

The room was small but the bed was super comfy which is most important. The AC was a little tricky to regulate but kept the room comfortable in the heat. The bathroom had zero storage area for toiletries and the shower handheld wand clasp was broken so you were forced to hold it with one hand… difficult to wash your hair one-handed. The breakfast was fabulous and the roof-top lounge area and view of the Parthenon was awesome! Super stay at hotel with great location, view and breakfast!

Rooms are a little dated. There are rooms which are "newer" than others. BUT, this did not negatively impact our experience there. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is in a prime location with only needing to walk a maximum of 30 mins to any/all major attractions. The buffet breakfast was very tasty and had a lot of local cuisine examples. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed 4 nights in balcony Room 303 (view of the Acropolis from balcony). ROOM 303: It was spacious (for 3 persons, although we were only two). We used the double bed, which was clean and comfortable. The room had air conditioning with a remote control, two night tables, one writing desk with two chairs, a closet with a few hangers (we took a few extra from home), a safe (with a manual key, not digital). The bathroom was clean and fresh with a small shower (good hot water with good pressure), large sink, mirror with narrow shelf, hair dryer, and plenty of hooks on the wall to hang towels, etc. Nice balcony with 3 chairs and a table - however, we did not sit there too much because it was scorching weather in Athens. HOTEL: Great location in Monastiraki, walkable to most tourist places and also the Metro subway station. Small front reception area. Two elevators to access the rooms and also the Terrace Bar on the 7th floor. Great breakfast room which served breakfast from 7am-10am. We had to get there very early on one day before our day trip to Meteora, and the lady Angela was very helpful to give us a take-away container to take our breakfast to go. The breakfast selection was tea/coffee, fresh juices, eggs, bacon, sausages, plus Greek specialties like dolmadaki, feta cheese, sliced tomatoes, olives, yogurt and dried fruits, cereals, fruit, breads, and fresh pastries. The staff kept the breakfast items well stocked and were very vigilant with clearing tables.

Rooftop bar is the best thing about this place. Staff was wonderful, bar was affordable and views can’t be beat. Location was less than 2 blocks to the subway Monastiraki which connects directly to the airport. Rooms are not large but sufficient as I found consistently on my trip in Greece. Very happy with this hotel and would stay again or recommend.

I stayed at the hotel in May 2025 for one night before my cruise. It was an easy check in and staff were very friendly. It's within walking distance to cafe's, flea market and restaurants. We sat on the rooftop patio and had a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Rooms are a bit tiny, but they served the purpose. A variety of food for breakfast, yogurt, cheese, cereal and eggs. We were able to store our luggage for a few hours after our cruise, since my flight wasn't leaving until late afternoon. I appreciated the amazing hospitality of the front staff. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is perfect! The person checking us in was not friendly. The night person didn't even bother to look at us when we walked in the door, he didn't say anything till we greeted him and it was just a grunt. The bartender in the rooftop bar was wonderful!

The location was excellent. Wonderful view from rooftop bar of the Acropolis. Bar prices were very reasonable for a hotel. Breakfast was reliable and varied. Changed travel plans at a late date and staff were very helpful. A special thankyou to Anne Maria, Nikos and Chris.

Attalos Hotel is very close to Monastiraki shopping area and Metro station. The metro station has the subway line to the airport. The buffet breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable and there is a nice rooftop bar with views of Mt Lycabettus and the Acropolis. Had a very good time. I would stay again at this hotel.

Attalos Hotel is conveniently located in Athens Monastiraki district near everything, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast offerings were good including pastries, fruit, eggs and deli items along with juices and coffee. Would definitely stay at Attalos on my next trip to Athens.

The Attalos was comfortable, clean and located in and near safe areas to walk in day time and night! The staff friendly and helpful with any questions. We had a wonderful view of the Acropolis from our room balcony, and also from the hotel roof top bar. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was our second visit. The hotel is a very convenient location and easy to get to on public transportation. The neighborhood has become a bit sketchy since we last stayed there in 2016.

Great location! Easy walk to Acropolis/Parthenon and all the sights in Athens. Wonderful rooftop bar to relax in the evening and enjoy the stunning views of the Acropolis. Affordable price.

Attalos Hotel is a great place to stay in Athens! Walking distance to many of the ancient Greek historical locations, Monostariki market, food/restaurants, and the Plaka neighborhood. Friendly staff that will answer questions, set up transfers, etc and a rooftop bar for hotel guests with great views of the Acropolis and sunset!

Great stay at Attalos hotel! The breakfast was excellent. I’ve never seen more items offered at a hotel breakfast buffet. Everything was well prepared and tasty. This is an older prop, but has been remodeled. The bathrooms are especially nice. Good bed, great pillow. The very best thing about this hotel is the location. Located near lots of restaurants and shopping. The rooftop bar is excellent! Offers a great view of the acropolis. Enjoy!

Great location to do the basics while in Athens. Best breakfast buffet we had while in Greece. Roof top lounge is amazing with awesome views of the night lit Acropolis!! Bar is self-service (take your drinks to the table) but the bar tender we engaged with was accommodating, kind, genuinely interested in your travels. Front desk staff welcomed you graciously. Stay here for great accommodation service and access to the neighbourhoods of Monastiraki and Plaka neighborhoods. Very walkable. Have fun while staying this little hotel.

The property is in the best location within the city of Athens. Great markets and food just outside your door. An amazing view of the Parthenon from our balcony, lit up at night was spectacular! A great rooftop bar for cocktails and a night time Parthenon view. Breakfast included was expansive with a lot of warm and cold options and delicious authentic Greek pastries. Air conditioned rooms was helpful as we visited during a heatwave! Great property overall.

Café da manhã muito bom comparado a outros hotéis. Quarto limpo com varanda. Do nosso quarto era possível ver a acrópole. O hotel conta ainda com rooftop. É possível deixar a bagagem guardada se tiver chegado antes do check in e após o check out (esse foi um ponto crucial para nós). Fomos bem recepcionados. A localização é muito boa. Com mercado próximo e bons lugares para comer.

The room was small but the bed was super comfy which is most important. The AC was a little tricky to regulate but kept the room comfortable in the heat. The bathroom had zero storage area for toiletries and the shower handheld wand clasp was broken so you were forced to hold it with one hand… difficult to wash your hair one-handed. The breakfast was fabulous and the roof-top lounge area and view of the Parthenon was awesome! Super stay at hotel with great location, view and breakfast!

Great walkable location, comfortable beds. Nikos provided great restaurant recommendations. Only down side is a small shower with a curtain instead of glass doors, but we had a private balcony with table & chairs and view of the Acropolis. Very good breakfast for 9 euro. If I come back to Athens I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location. Lots of restaurants and shops to walk to. The Acropolis and archeology museums are about 20 minutes away. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the Parthenon. The breakfast is excellent for a reasonable amount.

Great friendly staff. Roof top bar is wonderful, with a incredible view of the Acropolis and a perfect sunset from the other side of the terrace. Only spent one night in the way through to the islands but would happily stay again.
