We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Bakersfield. It was clean and comfortable. The Breakfast was very good and a lot of variety. Our only comment is the security gates were squeaky and a bit noisy. I t would be very nice if they could be oiled to quiet them down.

This was probably the nicest Hampton Inn I have stayed at. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. I liked the large TV. Finally, the workout room had top-of-the-line machines (Procore).

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean. The breakfast was good. And the easy access gated parking was a nice surprise. And I saw they had a gym and pool, although we were too tired to use them. If we ever have to stay in Bakersfield again we will definitely stay at this hotel.

The only hotel in the area that had gated parking. After reading reviews from other hotels this was a big factor. Hotel was clean, check in and check out was fast. Breakfast was surprisingly good and they had a variety of choices for everyone. Will definitely stay here again.

We wanted a reasonably priced pet friendly hotel - this place has secret add on fees so that your final cost is similar to a luxury hotel. And believe me, it is not luxury, Think rude, sullen staff and somebody’s old toothbrush and toilet paper roll lying out in the bathroom. Yuck.

Hotel staff was kind and helpful, the breakfast was very nice, the hotel itself though was not the greatest we’ve stayed at, upon arrival we found blood in our bathroom, the toilet was full like someone had just used it, our shower did not work properly, their were people smoking weed in the elevator, dirty pool… also we weren’t familiar with the area but I guess it’s not in the best area a lot of crime. Be careful.

Okay. Beds were uncomfortable, staff closed doors on us as we walked in to get breakfast (they close breakfast at 10. We got there at 9:55) so be punctual. Otherwise nothing to be excited about. Floor 4 smells like cigarettes although it’s a non smoking floor.

It was a very bad night. So bad that we went to the other side of the street to Motel 6 at 1 o'clock in the morning. The air conditioning runs continuously and is more than loud. It is not possible to turn off. The fan runs continuously and then blows in their faces when trying to fall asleep

I was really impressed by my stay here. The design of the rooms was very sleek and up to date, with lots of nice features like a sun shade for the window and a sliding door that alternates between the closet and the bathroom. Everything was meticulously clean and the bedding even seemed new. Plenty of amenities in the bathroom, incl. large dispensers of soap and shampoo and a blowdryer. The staff were pleasant and competent, there was a 24-hour snack shop, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was generous, including everything from bacon and egg fritatta to oatmeal, yogurt and a waffle making station. I'm pointing all of this out because for the price I paid, I've received a lot less from other establishments. Would definitely stay here again.

We chose this property because it is newer. For the most part it was nice..mostly clean, but not as clean as it should have been. Coffee is ok, but there is plenty ready downstairs, which is nice. Breakfast was good- I liked how there was something different in the mornings. Biggest thing for us was that the bed was very firm and did not sleep very well. Otherwise, not bad!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean. The breakfast was good. And the easy access gated parking was a nice surprise. Have stayed here before and my stay was excellent. This time, the coffee station was not refilled. No sugar, stirs, or creamer. The worst part was when we went out morning and dinner, someone, staff, entered our room. First time, they went through our things, took nothing. The second time, they went in and left. Weird. I knew because we turned off all lights, yet returned to lights turned on.

The breakfast is delicious and the options were a variety of and changes daily…even the flavor of the waffle batter such as strawberry and lemon flavored waffles in addition to traditional recipe. On our last day, we were happy and surprised that the choice that morning was biscuits and gravy, sausage patties and scrambled eggs….delicious. Coffee delicious and even offered decaf and variety of fruit juices Rooms were very clean and comfortable…we enjoyed our stay and when we come back to see our relatives we will book here again.
