The pool was being worked on & weekdays you heard nothing but beeping & banging dron all the machinery. The renovations being made at the hotel should have been brought to my attention prior to booking. Probably would have stayed elsewhere

Our room was very clean and our bed was comfortable. Normally hotels have the worst beds. I was really surprised and thankful for a good mattress. The buffet breakfast was awesome with make your own waffles, coffee and juice bar, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, eggs and meat. You he one complaint is the ran out of parking so we had to park against the building.

Still giving the hotel 10/10 since my complaints have nothing to do with the staff, nor our room. Parking isn’t enough for the size of the hotel and the people who are parking in the outside area leave no room for others, often taking 2 spots for a single car. Luckily, they allow you to park near the sidewalk by the room windows across from the designated parking if the parking garage is also full. Sketchy people hanging out near the front benches one of the mornings and a sketchy guy roaming around at night while we were getting our kids out of the car. He didn’t bother us, but it did make us feel slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, our hotel room was clean, nothing was broken. We originally had a room for a double queen, but we requested downstairs (since we have small children and didn’t want people below us complaining if they were running back and forth) and a bathtub, but they were sold out of the bathtub. They upgraded our room for free to make sure we got the bathtub. The hotel was packed, but we didn’t hear any noise at all. With small kids, we are very aware of any type of noise, but didn’t hear a single thing all 3 nights. Our room faced the parking lot, so the fact that we couldn’t hear anything was good. The hotel as a whole seemed clean, staff was friendly, hotel guests were friendly, proximity to the beach is GREAT! I will say, the absolute BEST thing about our stay was the free breakfast. Had a big story to cheat me out of Hilton points. Had no water for me. Live painting kept us walking around the joint in unsafe conditions: ankle twisters and walk in the road. Plus, fire escape, ingress/egress doors were blocked due to painting. Kinda hillbilly operation, it seemed to me. Not as bad as that DIVE JOINT Hampton at 55 and Dyer, but this one is still bad-ish. Oh, and the stinkkkk!!! a/c didn't turn on till second day. First night fan circulated pre-exsisting STINK, STANK, STUNK!

Overall stay was very comfortable for my partner and I. The only complaint my partner had was the lack of cleanliness from the bed. My partner stated he noticed that our sheets were not entirely replaced; our bed was just made! Also, upon arrival, there were stains and hand prints on the head board of the bed that we had to wipe down! Other than that, I enjoyed the attentiveness from Jesse and breakfast was great!

I am extremely disgusted and want a full refund from the holiday inn. We woke up for check-out and as we were packing our bags we found two huge cockroaches. I am extremely upset. I will never stay there again.Hotels.com gave the hotel a 4.4 thats why we chose it and boy did they mislead us.

Quick friendly check in. The bedding seemed comfy but once we got into bed we realized both sides of the bed had big divots. Our room backed onto parking and around midnight someone was blaring music from their vehicle 5 feet from our window. Breakfast was ok, but terrible if you are gluten free or looking for a cup of caffeine free tea.1200 check out is nice. Staff were friendly.

There needs to be a lamp in the sitting room of the suite allowing one to read a book. The TV never was really functional and there were no directions on how to operate it. The tech who came and brought the second remote was very kind but unable to fix it.

Close driving distance to things. Clean rooms. Nice staff. Easy parking. No front desk button on the room phones. Bathroom lights hard to turn on/off. Toilet hard to flush. Missing lighting over the main table in the room. 2 shampoos instead of shampoo&conditioner. Overall, adequate enough of a place.

Made reservations for same day check in. Right off highway but QUIET, clean, excellent rooms with comfy bed, Keurig, refrigerator and microwave in room. On a two week road trip up the coast and this is the best place we have stayed=best nights sleep. Highly recommend 10 stars!

Immediately AFTER checking in we were told the hotel was doing construction to their property, pool was closed and breakfast area was closed so to go bags were made. The construction and NOISE was daily from 8-5 sometimes 5:30. Luckily we didnt arrive until 4:30 the first day so we only had to deal with the noise for an hour. We had to revamp our daily plans because the pool was closed. Ask the front desk for more washcloths and was told they didn't have anymore and gave me big hand towels. Day 2 we received a text stating the water would be turned off from 10-4 and that we could get water bottles from the office. This messed up our plans because we then had to stay out even longer because we couldn't shower. Came back thinking since housekeeping had came, there would be enough washcloths but NO they gave us 1 washcloth a stack of hand and bath towels. Day 3 we had to leave the hotel A LOT earlier than planned because you couldn't sleep in if you wanted to due to the noise. Received another text while at the beach that the water was going to be OFF AGAIN. By this time it was ridiculous and were ready to go back home. Finally, was able to come back and shower but the hotel bottle of bodywash ran out. Told the front desk, she went to look for some, said she couldnt find anymore, so she gaves us on OLD bar body soap that fell apart when you opened the package. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!

It started off extremely poorly. My flight got canceled so I called and said “don’t give away my room. I’m coming tomorrow“. This should not have been a problem since I was prepaid. They gave away my room. Also, the hotel was under construction. No pool, no hot breakfast, etc. I will say that the manager did everything she could to move people around to get me a room which was very impressive. Everyone was extremely friendly. I think if the hotel was not under construction and they had not given away my room, I would be waiting the much much higher.

Great hotel. The location is filled with some sub par hotels and this hotel stands out by far. Safe, clean, service oriented and very reasonable. The restaurant staff on weekdays was amazing. Front desk staff was great. Underground safe parking was a plus. Only issue is the breakfast room is very odd, but breakfast was great.

Lower marks because it’s under construction. I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done but I would not have stayed there if I’d known. So lots of awkward space and construction noise during the day. The room was comfortable though and it served its purpose
