Fairbridge Inn Express Pittsfield

It was an ok place. But the maintenance guy is not good at fixing stuff . The shower curtains are above the edge of the tubs .so when you step out the floor is wet and slippery. The AC doesn't work well . The doors are hard to open and close.

You first pull up and it looks like you are at an abandoned property. All of the paint is peeling and just looks completely run down. The fence is falling down in most places, completely missing the paint in most of the sections, and sometimes just hanging on by a thread throughout the entire perimeter of the property. It appears that the family that owns it is utilizing the lawn space as a garden or it is completely overgrown with weeds waist high. The room was beyond stuffy: I am curious as to the last time somebody stepped foot into that room. There were dead moths stuck to my daughter's pillow. There was a massive smashed bug on one wall. The toilet spilled water all over the floor from its base every time you flushed. There sheetrock screws holding things together and up, such as the mirrors. There was a door is that adjoined us and our neighbors right in our room. I was so uncertain if our neighbors had the ability to unlock our door that I felt the need to use a chair to ensure they could not get in. The door to the outside does not fully close. It stuck out approximately half an inch from the wall. You can see lights all the way around the door which makes me think this place would be absolutely freezing in the winter. The tv did not have a clear channel available. I was concerned that I was walking a murder Hotel. Zero check-out process, office door was locked when I attempted to check out around 9:30am. The family that owns the place is more than friendly enough.

Kinda dated and musty rooms. You get what you pay for I supposed. Location is very industrial.

Seemed like the beds had clean bedsheets at least, but that was more or less it. Windows frames was dirty with old bugs and dust laying in them. Room had smell of moist and mold, also from floor carpet, and the blankett over the bed. Grouting in shower and bathroom was stained with mold. So even if a cheaper, but not cheap, alternative than hotel for a few days, at that price it was really not worth it. So I will for sure not book same place if I need to come back again.

Ice machine did not work, traveling with medication that needed refrigeration. They could not provide any ice. Wall paper falling off walls, bathroom and bed bed were clean. THANK God!
