Fantastic new hotel and used it as our base while skiing nearby hill, fantastic large rooms and bathroom, excellent entrance center with bar and visiting tables chairs couches etc, great morning breakfast options, nice fitness center and pool area, staff were still dialing in the pool chemistry so got our dose of chlorine that weekend, reported our bathroom sink had almost zero water flow but managed it but they didn’t ever get up there to service it during our visit, fantastic place! They will charge you a 10$ parking fee which is getting a little out of hand, unless your join the Marriott Bonvoy account so try to get out of the paid parking for a “rural” hotel! Was great worth the family!

Great breakfast, very nice lobby and bar area. Room was well decorated andlarge. Liked the walk in shower. Room refrigerator was small. Nice hot tub/pool area. Outdoor patio looked great, did not use since it was a winter vacation. Large guest laundry.

This hotel is a relatively new build. It’s about a year and a half old. Everything is like new and in great shape. The staff is excellent. Awesome bar with outside seating and a fire pit. Overall easy to get into and out of. I would recommend this if you’re just pulling in for the night or if you’re there for longer.

Great common area for eating and playing games. Nice indoor hot tub and pool as well as a gym. The room had a nice couch that could sleep several with a trundle bed. The hotel looks and smells new and modern. Breakfast options are plentiful! Our only complaint was there are not nearly enough hooks in the bathroom. But we would stay here again for sure!

The property was good. However, I don't like being charged to park for $10 a night. Is kind of ridiculous. It wasn't in the center of town. And there was no valet parking It was just charges because they could get away with it

The hotel is brand new and well done. The property is clean and well maintained. The housekeeping policy is slightly odd as for a Monday-Thursday stay the beds were not made at any point. Towels were added on the Wednesday. The housekeeping staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was closed the first three days but opened on the last day. The breakfast buffet was three stars as it’s very limited in selection. I was aware of the $10/day for parking but did seem a little much for a mostly empty lot. If the concern is random people parking that’s an easy fix by displaying a parking permit. Overall, I would stay here again. The rooms are nice and the location is convenient.

The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. The guy at the bar was great, the room was spotless. The hot tub felt amazing and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it was a good standard breakfast.

The property is pretty new so aesthetically looks very nice. Unfortunately even though I had booked and paid for a king room, when checking in, I was told they only had queen rooms available. Very frustrating from a guest perspective and I expressed my disappointment. The first Queen room we checked into had dog hair all over the base of the bed so we finally settled into another Queen room that was very clean. Our experience as a whole was very good minus the checking in troubles and lack of communication about room type switch. Since the property is fairly new, I feel like the opportunity for improvement is definitely there.

I read reviews that rated SPRINGHILL SUITES a 10, but I was not impressed. The first room had a wet carpet, so they transferred us to the other end of the hotel after we had unpacked. They let me use the cart to move. When we moved into the next room, the toilet seat was loose, I was not able to get the curtain open, and there was no hot water in the sink, only the shower, and no security safe, and we were right next to a busy highway, so there was lots of road noise. The pictures only show mountains My husband and I were traveling with my lab, which we were required to keep her with us, that's fine, but the other guests left their barking dogs in the room and woke us up very early. We loved Sand Point, but next visit will not be at this hotel

The property was good for the price. The only problem I had was with bathroom it wasn’t cleaned on arrival, I went to the front desk she got a cleaner up to the room and it still wasn’t very clean. They needed serious help with cleaning. To me it wasn’t Marriott standard.

Such a nice hotel, large rooms, super clean. The couch is the size of a twin bed and has a twin size trundle bed that pulls out under it as well so their double queen room sleeps 6 people comfortable. Highly recommend!

Springhill Suites Ponderay has a beautiful lobby with cozy chairs, fireplaces, and a patio with firepits that looks out onto a green space and mountain view. Lovely spot to work or get a glass of wine in the evening. My suite was quite comfortable and roomy with a nice desk, couch, and mini bar. All the amenities that I needed and convenient to Sandpoint and surrounding recreation.

This is the most beautiful hotel, especially the lobby! I would love to come here in the summer and enjoy their beautiful patio. The staff was so kind and everything was so enjoyable for our weekend stay with four basketball teams and all the families. We'll be back!

Our only comments (which are minor) are ….water pressure could be increased. We did hear the train blowing their horn at 11:00 pm and 5:00 am each day. We realize that’s not in your control but it is annoying! You gave a beautiful facility. Also, I do not remember reading anywhere or anybody telling us that parking was $10/day. That should be noted somewhere!

We booked a King bed ADA room months in advance of our stay. The hotel changed out our room booking without informing us. They put us in a much smaller none ada accessable room with 2 queen beds, making it that much harder to navigate the space. They first checked us in to a room that had not been cleaned either. The staff attempted to be helpful but said their was no management staff on site to talk to about our issues. The offered to give us our overnight parking free to make up for their shortcomings. They also advised it being very tech savvy, they had 2 public use computers and the wifi was nearing dial up slow. We will not be staying with this location again. We are frequent visitors to the area of Sandpoint. This was over all just disappointing.

The hotel doesn't clean your room unless you ask for or they clean it after your third night. I asked for my room cleaned and the frontdesk staff took a note and told me it would get done on the day. Unfortunately I came back to my room and saw no cleaning was done. That's terrible service.

We had a perfect stay at this property! The area was safe, quiet, and very convenient. There’s a Walmart nearby, along with restaurants options. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. It was easy to park and get around. I highly recommend this place!

Like a lot of people who stayed here (apparently), we were there to check out Schweitzer Mountain. It was perfect for that. About a 20, drive to the base of the mountain. The daily breakfast varied a little bit every day so that was nice to look forward to. The rooms were larger than expected and everything was clean.

Very nice, new hotel. Convenient location for a ski trip at Schweitzer. Only a short drive to downtown Sandpoint. The bar in the lobby is very nice, and the bartenders are awesome. The pool and hot tub were also a great added bonus. Would recommend.

It was a very nice hotel, only defaults: restaurant? Hardly, they serve very limited options, $10 to park per day- ridiculous. Didn’t take my service animal card so you get charged $75. Bar? More like: beer and wine options only. This place is expensive and to me not worth the money, I’ll continue my stays at Cedar Street… they don’t charge for parking and they take my service animal. True restaurant and bars are walking distance.

We liked the hotel itself but the continental breakfast was horrible. They were out of all the “hot” food, such as eggs, sausage. They were out of muffins, biscuits. They didn’t have any juice or water options as the machine was broken. They ran out of cutlery, bowls. The only food options were yogurt and bagels! This was on Monday, July 8th. We were there the week before and the breakfast was awesome so hopefully it was only a bad day or they were short staffed.
